June 2015

Time to organize and explore this new place and make up for lost time with dad!

Residency Graduation!

4 years, blood sweat and tears and a lot of sleepless nights from this guy are finally over! Nate finished residency at University Of Tennessee Medical Center tonight and isn't looking back. I am so grateful for the sacrifice, hard work, and dedication he put into the last 12 years of schooling. When Nate sets his mind to it he gives it his all, and that has shown here. Although it wasn't easy, we didn't see Nate much, and he saw this group of people way more then he saw his own family, we knew he was doing it all for us and loved us so much! It was a great night to finish it all, but what we are really looking forward to is the next chapter in our life.

Nate and Mike Foster, his co-resident they spent the last 4 years keeping each other sane!

Cooper and Hank joined us for the Graduation since they were with us from beginning to end in this residency journey. I am so greatful I had my kids as distraction from the many hours and nights that Nate was working. It was hard but oh so worth it!

This man is my rock! I love him more each day then ever!!

So blessed to have the Richmond's in our life. They started residency a year before us and did a one year post residency program and finished the same time we did. I am forever greatful to have Brittney and to know what each other were going through. Going to miss this family so much!!!

So so proud of this Guy on the right! 12 years of school and finally ready to move on~
4 years undergraduate- DONE, 4 years of dental school-DONE, 4 years of Oral Maxial Facial Surgery - DONE!!!

New place, new town, let the unpacking begin: June 2015

Nate had to head back to Knoxville to finished up his last week of residency, while I unpacked this house.

Our week was filled with unpacking, making houses out of boxes and swimming in between all the unpacking.

Nate and I celebrated our 11th anniversary a few miles apart, but eternally grateful to have this man in my life and to start a new chapter with him!!

Busy rest of June 2015

To say June was busy was an understatement! It was crazy! We flew home from Mexico on Sunday night, Monday we had a goodbye party for the kids to be able to tell their friends good bye!

This was the only picture I got and it was pretty sad, this was one of Coopers best friends from school. Garen, he was pretty shook up about Cooper leaving. It made me sad to see him cry!

Tuesday the movers came and boxed up and packed up all of our things.

Wednesday we headed up to Johnson City where our home would be for the next long while. We helped the movers move our belongings into our rental and headed back to Knoxville to clean our house.
Thursday was cleaning day, one of my good friends Adrienne great fully took the kids all day while I cleaned my house from top to bottom.

Friday was closing day, I think I cried all day long as the reality sunk in that we wouldn't be going back to this house ever! As I was busy cleaning thursday Kennedy fell and gave her self a fat lip while at my friends house. Poor girl looked like a little monkey

we finished off this crazy week with doughnuts for breakfast and swimming in our new pool!

Such an amazing trip to Mexico that will not be forgotten! Thank you Mike and Karlene for the memories and experience. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and to help those less fortunate.  We loved serving with family and being able experience this with our children
