An update

OK so it's been awhile since I blogged!!! Lots has happened since February. Corgan is walking and babbling to no end. She loves her new found freedom. She especially likes going outside on her own to explore. We love it because it calms her down instantly. Parks and pools are going to be so much more fun this summer.
Grandpa and Grandma Wong are anxious to start potty traning Corgan, even though she is only 14 months old. Although I must admit their efforts are slowly materializing; Corgan tinkled for the first time yesterday morning in her little potty. We'll see how that goes. It's fun seeing her naked bum running around the house.
More exciting news, we are finally going to move into our own place. We are taking over my Grandparents old place in Northwood. Basil and our best friend Mat are busy renovating it right now. Thank heavens for Mat, he is an Architect and construction expert so that has been so helpful. It's been fun and exciting picking paint and things like that, although it's hard work for the boys! We anticipate moving in the next few months or so. This is huge for us, Corgan will finally have her own room!
Easter was a fun time. We had an Easter egg hunt with our friends and children. Corgan got going and found a pink egg. Instead of proceeding to get more, she sat and opened it and happily ate the jelly beans out of it. No more eggs than that. She was pitied by a fellow hunter and they kindly dropped three more around her. She still wasn't interested. It was only until she finished her beans that she picked up the other ones. Mom's glad she brought thirty to share and Corgan only got five. =P Mom should be grateful that Corgan doesn't have a hording complex.

Just like Mom

So one of Corgan's fave things to do is rip through people's wallets and pull everything out. I know this is a usual past time of many children... but the best part is that she'll pull your cash out and separate them one by one across the floor. Then your cards. And anything else. My favorite is when she pulls all your receipts out and trashes the floor.

My First

SO this is my first ever real blog. But I thought it would be fun since so many of my friends are doing it. (What can I say I'm a sucker for peer pressure) Also, that way you guys have a heads up on all things DuLaney. I love what people do with these things so here I go...

This year has been a fun year so far. Corgan turned one and took her very first steps on her birthday... right to the door to get away from as many people as possible. We had an insane bash with lots of awesome friends and family. We thought she would go nuts on the cake but it was pretty tame which was kind of a dissapointment. She did love the balloons and really had a grand time eating them. Since the birthday she's been attempting to walk more. Corgan is kind of a wuss... she is scared to fall I think and therefore is taking her sweet time walking. We can't believe it's been a year. Man it goes by fast. I realized (duH) that every year she gets older, so do I. Boo.
