April Showers Bring...July Weddings!
April 12th: It was Wednesday, the last day of classes (not that I had any), and despite the rain, it was the perfect day. Brandon finished up classes and didn't have to do a ton of homework all night like he normally does, and so we just got to have fun all day. We made dinner, played some games, watched Psych as always, and even fit in a movie. We were going to go for a walk earlier in the day, but because of the rain we decided not to. Finally at midnight it cleared up enough outside and wasn't too cold and Brandon suggested going for a walk, so off we went. We typically go on walks. Usually when it's nicer out since neither of us enjoy being too cold, or too hot for that matter. We wander around Provo, choosing at the last second where to turn at each corner we reach. But, over time, we wandered enough just to end up at the same park. There's a pirate ship. It's awesome. We like looking at it, but we never actually go in it (we did once) but we're usually there at night and we're always convinced there's going to be a hobo living in there every night. Just to be safe, we avoid it. So we always end up sitting on the cute little stools underneath the play structure next to the pirate ship. I joked once that it was "Arrr park" since we ended up there so often. So on this Wednesday night, we went to that same park, sat in the same spot and talked. Then I could tell that Brandon was getting nervous. Then he asked a simple question: "When you said that this was 'arrr park' did you mean that it was 'arrr park' because of the pirate ship or 'our' park since we end up here so often?" And I said, "Both." Then he said, "Well, then lets really make this 'our' park." Then he told me wonderful things, pulled out a ring, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said yes, of course I will. And finally, after at least a month of feeling like we were already engaged, we were official. It was the perfect night.
So, here's the back story on the proposal. I thought Brandon was going to wait till after graduation to propose cause he wanted to ask my dad's permission in person. I thought he might still call instead, but I had no idea. I was clueless. So, apparently he picked up the ring Tuesday. Had my roommate get my dad's number from my phone when I didn't have it on me. Called my dad Tuesday night. Carried the ring with him ALL DAY Wednesday (poor guy, haha) and proposed Wednesday night. He also said he didn't want to wait to make things official--he was sick of having to call me merely his girlfriend. I was too, truth be told. He also wanted to surprise me and knew that if he did anything extravagant I would see it coming. He was right.
We're getting married July 21st in the Detroit Temple and we're so excited!
On a side note, I graduated with my brother, Kevin. It was awesome. A hilarious convocation, really. Who has a Tango dance in the middle of graduation? Ours did. It was awkward. I had to hide my face with the program so the dancers wouldn't see me laughing. Also, the opening prayer was the happiest any of us had ever heard. I was crying laughing. There was no stopping that either.
Well, this has been the greatest month of my life, with getting engaged and finally graduating from college and all. And I'm sure the best is yet to come.

Magnificent March
So, obviously I don't blog often, but I guess there are actually a few things to blog about! This month has been so great! It all started a couple weeks ago around the 14th where we celebrated Pi day. 3.14. ha. Anyways, Carri and I made a marvelous Nutter-Butter-Peanut-Butter Pie (thanks to Pinterest). It was sooo good. Super rich, but good.
Next came my birthday on St. Patrick's Day! I turned 23 and got to share it with all of my best friends. It was a good day, but I broke a few of my traditions. I forgot to wear my shamrock pajamas! And I didn't even wear green! What I did still do though is wear my clover necklace and my clover pin I've worn every year since Becca gave it to me when I was a toddler. Anyways, the day started off with grocery shopping and Brandon, then playing Worms Armageddon and eating pizza. Then we parted ways, and got back together in the evening and went to Shoots with all my favorite people. I love that place. Then I smashed the pinata Brandon and I made, and then ate cake and ice cream (that is cheap, fact.), played a little Catch Phrase, then I got to watch my favorite movie with my favorite boy. Pride and Prejudice, of course.
Next came THE HUNGER GAMES! If you have not read the books or have seen the movie, do it now. It was amazing. Absolutely perfect, and exactly how I pictured it when I read the book. We saw in at the IMAX where we had reserved seats. It was perfect.
Then came the crazy day. After the movie, that day it was Carri's birthday and I had to substitute teach on 1.5 hours of sleep...yikes! Somehow I survived. Anyways, there have been lots of fun things here and there in between the highlights I've talked briefly about, but there was also this past weekend, as March came to a close that was fantastic! Brandon and I spent the whole weekend in Ogden with his family at his Grandma's house. We relaxed, watched conference, which was great, ate lots of delicious food, and even took pictures since we don't have very many of us. They were very last minute, and I wore his jacket since it was freezing outside and I didn't bother to pack one since the day before (Saturday) it was Summer weather and I was wearing shorts and flip-flops. Sunday, it snowed. Here is my favorite one:

OK, Fine.
So, that was a short-lived vow to never blog again. But, I decided to humor the 2 people that told me to keep blogging, and try this again. I wouldn't if I didn't actually have something to blog about. But I kinda do now. First things first, today I finally and I mean FINALLY wrote my final paper for my coaching internship and turned that and a bunch of other papers in to complete my internship. I have an exit interview with my internship advisor on Friday, and then I will be OFFICALLY DONE and can finally graduate! Exciting. I want ice cream. Also, I have been unable, despite my efforts, to register to be a substitute teacher this semester. But, I got a phone call today with instructions that might just change all that. In other words, I should be registered and able to sub in the next few days! Which means, I can finally make some money!
That being said, here's a story. Everyone that knows me, knows what a chocoholic I am. I tear up if I see mini cadbury eggs because I love them so much but know I can't buy or eat them because they are expensive and addicting and fattening. And addicting. And delicious. And scrumptious and creamy, crunchy....mmm. Same goes with Nutella. And Magnum bars. All life-changing chocolatey treats.
Well, when you think about the ad, "What would you do for a Klondike bar?" what would you actually do? I don't know what I would do for a Klondike bar (delicious as they are) but I do know that I would dive, bang my knee on the ground, and sacrifice every limb and part of my body for a spoonful of Nutella. In this case, it was a forkful. And yes, that happened. In slow motion, it seemed. I dropped the fork full of decadent, rich, smooth, Nutella, and I dove to the ground, reached out my hand and slid it underneath the fork--Just in time.
Had I not caught the fork, it would have landed in a hallway that is in desperate need of a good vacuum. Imagine all sorts of crumbs and fuzz, and most likely little bugs all mixed in with my precious Nutella. What a waste! I shudder to think of that glorious dollop of Nutella in such a state. Alas, there was no harm done. Just a little bump on the knee and a mouthful of heaven.

Last Post
I'm just writing to inform the two people that actually read this that this is my last post, because I never blog and have no reason to...ever. And no one reads it. I'm not deleting it, so I can look back on my life since it's sort of an online journal, alas I'm still not going to blog again. So, it's been real, but I'm officially done blogging.

Thanks.
Don't you love it when you think you're friends with someone and then one day you suddenly realize they defriended you on Facebook? Thank Heavens for good friends. A big shout out to my family and best friends is now needed. Thanks for being there, on Facebook or not, through good and bad, and forever. Love you all.

Hmm...
Why is it that everytime I become addicted to something new, I want to pick up on all the old things I used to do? Such as Tweeting more frequently now that I'm addicted to Pinterest, and wanting to start blogging more. Of course, Facebook has been a constant in my life since I got it. For some reason I've stuck with it even while adjusting to sudden, unwanted changes to my Facebook pages.
I guess all is well as long as I don't start up Neopets again. hahaha. Just something to think about!
