Hey there... I hope you're all doing ok! I've been working on different things lately.....and of course I'd like to show you what I've been up to..
Something different this time. No card or scrapbook page.. but a little present box with of course a little owl on top of it.. (haha... sorry.. couldn't resist these cuties again...)
I've been using different colors here.. but I might be using this in blue as a babyshower present when our baby-boy is born. Still thinking about it.. not sure.. hehe..
The basics of the box is cardstock..and the rest is leftover pieces of scrapbook paper.
The eyes are made of cardstock as well.. with a little diamond on top of it to make it sparkle more.. hehe..
Wishing you a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

Just married...
....nope not me.. but some of our friends got married 2 weeks ago and I've created this little card for them... Buuuuttt... in my last post I told you guys that we were about to find out the gender of our baby... and it's gonna be a....BOY!!!!! We're so happy!!
Sooo... since I've been hooked to these little owls I decided to change the look of them into a married couple. (I'm aware of the fact that there's a biiiig typo on the card.. I wrote Maried with one 'r' instead of Married... oops... hope they won't notice it... :-() Cannot change it for now unfortunately... :-(
I promiss you this is gonna be the last owl card for now... hehe... I need to step outside my comfort zone now and start creating something else again.. haha... So no worries... I'm not only creating owly-things right now... ;-) This card consists of a lot of different layers to give it a more 3d look.
Again I've been using lots of scraps here... even the handmade owls are made out of tiny pieces of old patterned paper scraps! The sequins are still an addiction too... as well as the bling and glitters everywhere on the card :-)
Thanks again for stopping by!!! I'll be coming up with a fun challenge soon!!

Baby boy or baby girl?
.... that's the question ;-) And in about 4 days we'll find out whether it's gonna be a boy or a girl! So excited... just can't wait!
And some more bling bling and glitter all over the card. Again some sequins....can't get enough of these blingy thingy's ;-)
Sooooo in the meantime I've been working on some little baby cards by using some more owls... I decided to shrink the owls from my last post to smaller versions to fit on my cards...and voila... underneath are the results ;-)
The owls are adhered with some 3d foam to let them 'pop' a little more off the cards. For this girly card I added some Tulip Puffy paint dots to the Heidi Swapp chipboard letters..
The baby boy card is kinda like the girly card... but instead of Puffy pant I added some Doodlebug white glitters to the chipboard letters. Both cards are made with some left-over scraps of design paper.
The little 'holes' on the borders of the cards are made with my sewing machine without thread. Oh..and did I mention earlier that I'm obsessed with everything that shines and glitters?? hahahah!!!
Thanks again for stopping by!! Have an amazing weekend everybody!

Owl mania!!
I totally got addicted to little owls these last few months, they're really everywhere on cards and projects... and somehow I just can't resist these cuties either...sooo.. I decided to create some glittery owls just for fun...a blue one and a pink one..... :-)
I've handcut all the separate shapes of these little owls (created some templates first so I'd be able to make more of them afterwards since it's addicting..). I think they're both about 15cm/5.9inch high.
Did you see my other new addiction too? SEQUINS!!!!! Just can't get enough of these!!! Keep an eye on my blog....I'll be posting a fun challenge soon (maybe a little step by step workshop) and I'll be giving away some colorful sequins!!!!!
And here's the blue one... almost the same but without the girly flower ;-) I've been using some old patterned papers.. I've picked just the pink colors that matched to do some 'color blocking'.
Why a blue and a pink one? Well, I didn't tell you guys yet, but I'm almost 19 weeks pregnant at the moment! Woohoo!! We don't know yet if it's gonna be a boy or a girl... but we will in about 2 weeks :-). Soooo.. in the meantime I'm creating blue and pink thingies to get the boy/girl feeling.... haha ;-)
Anyways.. thanks again for stopping by! Have a scrappy day!

Bright and shiny "Thank you" card
Still can't help it.. but somehow I'm always looking for bright, shiny and happy colors for my creations.... so while looking through my pile of old scraps I discovered some older patterned papers which lead to this "Thank You" card...
The basic of the card is white cardstock (something I'm using most of the time :-)) which I started layering with different patterned papers.
Behind the star I've added some 3d tape to make the star stand out a little more. The circle was made again with my Orbis Circle cutter (yup.. still addicted). Some small embellies and Puffy Paint were added to give the card a finished look..
Thanks again for stopping by!! I hope you've been enjoying your weekend!

Quick & simple mini-shakerbox card
First of all... thank you so much for all the sweet welcome-back messages... it feels so good to be back and to have found my mojo after such a long time!!!
Just like I told you in my previous post, I've been working on some shaker-box cards lately...such an awesome way to use sequins again!!! I totally forgot how much fun it always was to create these shaker-box cuties!!
I started with this quick & simple mini-shakerbox card, perfect to add to a present or a bouquet of flowers!! I've used some pearly white sequins and some black flower sequins behind the circle...
Behind the shaker-box window I've added a Luxe Designs Rub-On with "Hugs and Kisses" and I added some 3d foam tape (to layer the shaker-box), a Prima flower, some Puffy Paint dots and glitters to finish the card. I hope the sequins are visible behind their little window :-)
Working on some more cuties at the moment.. so I'll be back soon with another update.. I promiss :-)
Thanks for stopping by again! Have a great weekend everybody!

Knock knock..anybody there? ;-)
Yup... it's been a while (uhmm.. almost 3 years...oops... shame on me ;-)) since I've posted on my blog...buuuut... I'm baaaaaaack!! I hope you still remember me after such a long time... haha!
Still totally addicted to Tulip Puffy Paint, stickpins, flowers, my Orbis Circle Cutter and anything pink and that glitters...guess that'll never change.. haha...so glad I've found my mojo back!
Since it was Mother's day last week.. I decided to create some little cards for my mom and my mother in law... Okay.. it's not really what I had in mind when I started... but I think I'm kinda satisfied with the results ;-)
Here's the 1st one for my mom:
And some more details....worked with some old My Mind's Eye paper scraps here...
For the second one for my mother in law I handcut one large flower which turned out to be the eyecatcher of the card which I started layering with a circle with foam tape behind it...
Yup.. again lots of pink here...and glitters on the borders of the large flower (hmm.. I guess it's not too visible on the picture.too bad :-(). The white dots are made with Puffy Paint (totally addicted..haha)
What are you working on at the moment? I'm working on some shaker-box cards... I totally forgot how much fun this always was about 10 years ago...so glad these are back too!
So happy you took the time to stop by again! I'll be back with some more 'fresh' creations soon!!
Enjoy your weekend! (it's gonna be a sunny one overhere in The Netherlands... yeah!!)
XOXO
