I think one of the reasons the grand kids were so excited for us to get home from our mission was the fact that they knew we were taking them all to Disneyland when we got home!
We had a great time...Lexie even brought baby Kael, who was less than a month old! She got some pretty crusty looks from a few people, but the baby was such an angel and we would have been so sad if Lexie couldn't have been with us! We were already sad enough that Devan couldn't come with us! He had a college class, he just couldn't miss. I guess our life is getting to the point that there is always going to be some one who won't be able to go on family trips. Everyone is so busy with school and work. It's hard to plan anything any more! Our trip was so much fun! We stayed at the Disney Resort, Paradise Pier. It was fun to be so close to the Park. It was handy with the babies. It was Malia's first time to Disneyland. I think she was the most excited of all! It was so fun to see all of the kids' faces and hear their responses when we saw the characters and princesses. We had so many fun experiences, it's hard to even write them down! It was all magical!
I never get tired of Disneyland!! I'm as bad as the kids!
Cam loved going on the "big" rides with his Grandma and Grandpa. He is so fun now that he is a little older. He told me, "Grandma, I bet alot of people think you are my mom, cuz you COULD be my mom!" I thought that was so cute! I guess technically I cound be his mom, but sure glad I'm his grandma! Oh, I love my grand kids! They make me soooooo happy!
Disneyland with the whole family definitely was the Happiest Place on Earth!!!
We went to the beach the first day we were in California. It was kind of a fiasco, but we made the best of it. The weather was cold and windy...but the kids had a lot of fun.
I'm not so sure the parents had too much fun though!
The Hotel had a FUN water slide for the kids. They couldn't get enough of it. Malia and Sadie just went up the stairs, and down the slide, up and down, up and down.
They loved it!
The moms relaxed in the baby pool with the babies....
We had lots of laughs....
The little girls LOVED the Princesses the best!
Little Ty Boy loved them almost as much!
We had early mornings, long days, and LATE nights!
My kids really know how to get the most out of a three day hopper pass to Disneyland!
It was the opening week of the CARS park, so there were TONS of people!
We were able to do it all in the three days....but barely!
Lots of happy faces...
happy moms and dads...
happy kids....
happy Grandma...
happy Grandpa!
Malia LOVED Mickey and Minnie!
One of the nights we were there, Lonne took all the boys to an Angels baseball game.
I took the girls and Ty to dinner. They were so excited when I had the waitress make them all a balloon character! They each picked what they wanted her to make.
The little ones loved the Carousel. ..I loved going on all the "little" rides again...
it's been a long time since I've been on a lot of that stuff, like Peter Pan and the Tea Cups..etc...
Fantasy Land is one of my favorite parts of Disneyland...I guess because it reminds me of
going there when I was a little girl. I still love it now that I'm an old lady!!
Phineas and Pherb came dancing through California Adventure Park right when we were walking by....They grabbed all of our kids and had them come dance to the fun music with them...
The kids were a little shy at first, but they were right up there dancing by the time it was over.
It was lots of fun for them!
Tower of Terror is still one of my favorites! It makes me laugh sooo hard!
It's a Small World was the place we went when we wanted to rest! The little ones love it!
I'm glad they haven't changed it after all these years....it's out-dated, but Disneyland wouldn't be the same without it. I still love it. Ty still sings the song all the time!
We just about wore these little kids out!
We always say we are going to Disneyland for the kids,
but it seems like the adults have as much fun...or maybe even more !
Lonne found some shade and an ice cream, and he was a happy camper after
three days of going non stop!
Do you feel like your in St. George...
It's the new CARS park! It was awesome!!! We had an early morning entrance into the park every morning since we were staying at the resort, so we were able to beat the crowds. Radiator Springs looked EXACTLY like the movie! I could have stayed there all day! LOVED it!
Ty is obsessed with "Queen" (Lightning McQueen)
He was absolutely in his glory! It was so cute!
The ride was awesome! I just wish they didn't have a size limit on it. Ty, Malia and Sadie were too small to ride on it. We went on this ride three or four times, and each time was as fun as the last.
It was amazing!
A little hair in the face on the fast parts!
One of my favorite parts is the water show....but the kids were so tired that most of them fell asleep!
We loved our Disney Vacation...we were absolutely WORN OUT by the end of four days, but we had a great time! Our life has been a whirlwind since we got home, and it's been so much FUN!!
I LOVE being with all my kids and grandkids again. It was so much fun to have Mitch and Robyn with us for two weeks!
I hope our kids and grandkids enjoyed their trip as much as Grandma and Grandpa did!
