Academic news: Passed all my exams... At least no more books or papers in the near future... I am officially a ACCA affiliate now... Just to complete the last few matters before I can become a fully pledged ACCA member... It's always good to be on par with my smarty tubs... =)

Personal news: Yes to very few of you... I'm happily married to smarty tubs.... Wedding dinner's not arranged yet... not many know about my marriage... It's always feel better to give people a shock... =) I know that I will not be returning to singapore soon enough... and that there may be a possibility that I may migrate to UK... But there is always a chance that I will keep my Singapore passport... =) We shall see in 3 years time...

Smarty Tubs news: It was always so funny the way we talk and react to each other in office for the past 3 years. Funny how things have progressed since Oct 2009. He's getting tubbier each day... better watch his diet.. My parents think his age is abit old... hmm.. 13years? Age doesnt matter... It's mutual understanding of each other which does.

Family news: Heard from my mum that my great grand mother just passed away... It was sad... but I'm glad that she doesn't have to suffer.. That's why I always ask myself if I'm content and satisfied with the decisions I made... 'Yes' is always my reply. Hope everyone's in good health though... My family just moved out of Bedok Ria. No more big room to me... then again, I really haven't spend that much time in there to miss it...

Stupid news: I bought my mum a Mother's gift online to be sent on 13th March 2010... Cause UK's Mother's day is on 14th... Ka-nob.... Singapore's Mother's day is in May!! oh well...

Employment news: I am deciding whether to go back to previous employment or look for a new job. Any suggestions?

Property news: We are looking for a new property now. He has got his own property but it is currently being rented out. We are still thinking of whether to move back to his parents. There was so much going between him and his family. Well, at least his family's been very good to me. I guess it's only him. hehe..

Kristine news: Well, I really hope that she can find the one for her.. She's been complaining about us being so lucky and having good men around. I guess that she has to realise that these require luck most of the times. I hope she'll be able to grasp the chance when it comes... GO MR PARK!!!

Xiu Hui news: Not spoken to her recently, although I know that she's going to keep her job at EY... It's always hard to work in such a tough environment... I hope she'll be able to get through it and that EY honors what they say to her...=) GO JAMES.. DO YOUR STUFF!!!

woah.. my last post was dated so long back... i guess i've been pretty lazy for the past few years... hehe... i wonder who still checks this website.. =)

just a few quick updates about my life now...

andy's finally graduated and he'll be getting on to the next step in life.. finding a job... that's GOOD! his irritating twin brother is probably going to stay with us in uk to study english..

my visa to stay in uk will end on 04.02.2010. due to the major changes which took place with the uk immigration, it's so much harder to get a working permit now... but i do hope that i'll get my renewed before the due date... if not, i'll have to return to sg and stay there for good?

passed P1 paper, 1st professional paper for my ACCA qualifications.. got 4 left to go which i'm hoping to finish them by dec 09. wish me luck!

10% or more of my friends have gotten married or going to... 2 of my colleagues just got married... crystal's getting married in nov this year... heard from krisy that she's managed to wear her tailor made dress at least 6 times... what a bargain... i think i should invest in 1 as well!! any sponsors out there? haha..

blogging while working is not good... my ex-spv is catching those in office... i better chao....

so much has happened that i dont know where to start....

just too many things... i'll just start with the recent ones...

well.. when i was at work today, i came across this british couple who has relatives in singapore. they were quite shocked to hear that i was from singapore cause they thought i was from china ( oh well, what's new... )... while i was talking to them about singapore.. it was these rare times where i felt i was 'back home'... someone who sounded normal to me and could 'understand' the places i was naming... my heart twitched a little... i think i'm beginnging to miss home...

what's up next... oh well... just a couple of weeks back, my house was broken into... it was sheer bad luck... for the very 1st night that all of us went out for a dinner after moving into a new house, they had their chance.... total of 4 laptops, my wallet + sg IC, my phone, all of my mate's certificates... 'ka-poot'.... funny enough, they left all the LV, Gucci, D&G bags untouched... hmmm.. that's not all... they actually took my Gucci perfume.... it was 3/4's gone... omg.... that was funny enough... haaa...

just got myself a car recently.... volkswagen golf 1.6 sports ed... black, 99 reg... good enough... proud of my car... just hoping that it doesnt stall on me.... haa

been working everyday... 7 days a week... it's tiring man... i think i'm becoming psychomaniac... i'm feeling glad that everyone's doing fine now... i guess we'll just hope for the better....

so how's everyone in singapore? feeling great everyday?? well u should.... cuz life is not just because of making $$ but also to enjoy.... well, at least i am enjoying myself in cardiff now, even though i may be working 7 days a week.... =)

someone who's younger than me by 7 mths is chasing after me... hmmm... so much for trying to hard to stay single here... hahaha... i just wonder what's that i've got that attracts him... to be honest, he's quite good looking and tall and strong build too... we shall see..... well, he used to work in the restaurant that i'm working part time in.... but he was fired by the boss recently, excuse being taking too many days off.... what an excuse to fire staff... -_-" anyway.... i will update more soon... really tired now... havent zzz for the past night... too much play n work make my body weak... oh no.... better rest more..... =)

this is the 1st weekend in cardiff... seems a bit boring actually... that's y i've already been to the casino twice this week... haha.. BUT, i only played on 1 of the days... and won 15pounds thru poker!! my luck was pretty good as i had a straight diamond flush... cool man... haha... prob earned like 80+ pounds in that round with a total of 5 pounds bet.... damn... i should have just left that night! hahah.a..

went drinkin on thurs, met up with danny and sam.. pretty cool... didnt see them for a long time... everyone's changed a little.... was actually shocked to hear about sam's plight... weird.. haha... so unlike 'sam'... hmmm..

ok, i'm still tired.. its freakin 1140am.. but i reached home from casino at 6am+ ... tired... gonna go again during noon time... oh well... that's life in cardiff.. hahAhaH.... no worries, i wont lose all my money.... i have CONTROL... haha..

sorry peeps... didnt have the internet in my room yesterday.... well, i thought my connection was supposed to be wireless... turned out to be cable... haha... oh well... thats been settled.. have so many other things to settle now... like going to my office to check things out and gettin a new mobile line!!

had dinner with my flatmates at jap restuarant yest night... didnt grab anything since morning... but.... i wasnt hungry... weird.... ahaha... after finner, we went to gala casino... havent been there for ages! hehe... saw my other assistant boss... he got a shock when he saw me.. oh well.... hah... i guess the news of my return will be sent out to everyone soon...

seems that quite a lot of things have changed since my departure... oh well.... i see many chinese strangers around now.... have to start knowing them slowly.... argh... michael (1 of my flatmates) just told me that big martin (my other boss) was asking when i'll be returning for work... haha... oh no... gonnna have 1 FT job, 1 PT studies and 1 PT job... i think i will die soon...

starting to miss singapore's food... people... but i still like the weather here... cold....

some thoughts ran through my mind when the plane took off yesterday.... did i really wanna come to uk and work... but i guess that i had to... its no longer a matter of whether i'll like it or not... 3 years.... it'll pass by quickly... memories may fade... but as long we maintain our relationship, everything will be fine eventually...

a lot of people thought that i'll go for flings/ons/bf when i reach uk... nah... i was never interested in going into a relationship with 1.... dont be crazy... ah mohs? they're not freakin rich in their countries... they are only rich when their currencies get exchanged to others..hahaha.. so rest assured that i'll stay single... hopefully someone out there will be happy reading this? haha... if there's acually a 'someone'... haha... the only clause: unless a good singaporean man comes along and stay here for a couple of years...

was out with maocheng, kleven, jackson, guanqi and his gf.... had dinner at cafe cartel.... had lots of fun time... had asked maocheng and kleven to double O on sat... i'll be there for a drinking session.... NO CARS ALLOWED.. haha... most probably taking bus home... quite a lot of us are actually going to be 'drunk' and taking bus home... so we wont be THAT bored during the journey home... =)

it felt different as compared to my class gathering.. during my mini class gathering, we talked about what happened in class in the past... we laughed about our silly acts and stuff we did then.... as for this club gathering, we talked crap.... basically, adult talk... we had lots of laughter though... haha.. i wonder why...

something funny that happened in the old school days...

i was browsing through my friendster.... as i looked at 1 of my 'friends' pictures... that's when i saw the 'old ij butches'... it suddenly struck me that... i had juniors giving me presents as i was their 'idol' in PRI school ( cuz i was in netball team - ps, i wasn't a tomboy, i was just blur looking, i accepted their gifts cuz they gave them to me willingly!! :x ) not just that.... i had another 'butch' liking me in SEC school... i noticed it when she tried to get close to me at Outward Bound Singapore... wah... i KEPT MY distance from HER!! it was gross.. hahaha... i dont even think my ij friends know about this.. another big shock: i was having this scandal in sec 3 class with another 'boyish' girl... it almost became real... BUT i stopped it in time... phew... and now? this boyish girl HAS A BF and looks SO GIRLish now!!! omg.. i'm in shock! haha...

in ijtp sec, there was always this enmity between basketballers and netballers.. weird politics... prob of the 'faces' that both sides displayed during school.. anyway, when i was in sec 1, the cute butches were in basketball... i used to adore the way they run n jump... N i did attend their competitions and cheered for them... it seemed normal that time cuz i wasnt the only 1 non-bballer... hahaha... ok, i was playing netball all my life... been playing that for schools for 10 years and singapore for 2 years... so it was quite weird of me to attend those competitions, so i stopped after end of sec 2... anyway, the cute butches had already graduated... so there was no point of continuing it.. hahaha... but in sec 2, i got close to 1 of the cute butches, wendy lee, hong konger who was a senior bballer... those stupid sec 1s got so jealous of me! cuz i started hanging with wendy, played with her and had more body contact such as hugs and tickling.... rumors went around and it was so funny cuz almost quarter of the population started to stare at me everytime i walked past them... it was SOOO FUNNY to be part of the ij 'bitch club'! hahahaha.... end of story after sec 2? no no no.... my netball juniors from ij kellock came into ijtp too.... 2 of them were cute.... so everything started again... but, this time, it was the netballers who were in the spotlight... i had a very small scandal with 1 of them since pri till sec... but again, it was lucky of me not to get into trouble.... =)

looks like i attract weird people.. but never seem to be attract more of those popular ones... ahah.. but, maybe, luckily, i didnt... hahaha...
