Park City

We spent the evening in Park City with the VandenAkker's and ate at our favorite restaurant Baja Cantina. Afterward we took Jaxon on his first ride on the Alpine slide.

Happy 4th of July

We are HOME!!! It has been so much fun being home and surrounded by family and friends. On the 4th we had a BBQ at the VandenAkker's

That evening, Grant and I were upstairs in our bedroom when he decided to put his fingers in a fan. It scared me to death. Luckily, I was only a few feet away and was able to quickly rip his little fingers out. His ring finger was pretty mangled and his middle one had a few cuts. We wrapped it up and headed to the Allred's where Dee was nice enough to fix him up. Grant was pretty traumatized, but we are so grateful that it wasn't any worse.

We have really enjoyed spending time at the pool this summer and the boys love it when Daddy will rough-house with them.

We had to get family pictures before we left this beautiful campus. Grant did not want to cooperate, but luckily we were still able to capture a few good photos.

Fenway Park

This morning we took a tour of Fenway Park. It was fun to walk through the empty stadium and learn the history of the ballpark and team. It has been fun living so close to Fenway. We have loved going to Red Sox games.

This red seat marks the longest home run ever hit at Fenway, hit by Ted Williams in 1946. The seat was painted red to commemorate Williams' titanic blast.

Things We Will Miss...

It makes me really sad to think we will be leaving Boston soon. I have loved living here – the history, the scenery, the social scene, and most of all the people. I will forever cherish my memories of this great city. I am going to miss it.

We were so excited to find this painting, we all decided to get it to forever remind us of our time here. This cupola was our view from our apartment these past two years, so I was thrilled to find a painting of it.

We of course cannot forget Spangler. We have eaten many meals here. When I was pregnant with Grant I would crave the pizza from the Grille - and I honestly think I ate there 3 - 4 times a week. YUM!!!

I sure am going to miss this place.
