Cute funky French

Hi everyone! And a big welcome to my new followers, it's great to have you here! The other day I made a cute version of the lightning bolt, I'd used two pinks from Essie for it: Lion Around and Your Hut Or Mine. I liked the two colors so much together, so I decided to make another tape mani with them. The simple stripe design I used is the same as the one from the nautical funky French I did a couple of weeks ago. This time it's a lot girlier than most of my nail art and sure brings out all my inner girliness haha, but I like it :) Thanks for stopping by!

  10. So cute! How do you get the tape strips so skinny, straight and the same size? When I try to cut them they turn out to be all crooked and different sizes. You should make a tutorial on cutting tape strips!

  12. Thanks so much for sharing your comments, you guys are the best!

@Karina: Thank you :) The trick is to first cut of a piece off the roll, which I then cut in thinner strips by placing that piece on one scissorblade, rather than trying to cut it "freehand". I'm not very good at explaining things, but the good thing is that I'm working on a "tips and tricks" post for tape manis. I will include pictures to make it all crystal clear :) So bear with me!
