Hi!
Today's Golden Oldie theme was tropical, and I thought I'd try my hand at a little stamping decal again! My golden oldies were China Glaze Peachy Keen and Color Club Poptastic (should have used Flip Flop Fantasy really!) I also used Milani Gold Gems and Sinful Colors Paris for a little glitter gradient. Don't look too closely at the decal, it folded over at the edge and smeared a little bit. I will perfect them one day!
Fits the tropical bill, no? I loved the gradient despite the little decal accident! I really can't wait for summer, I can't stop cracking out the neons! My pedi is even neon in readyness for real flip flops!

Happy Birthday to me!
Hi!
It was my birthday on Saturday, and my nails celebrated with a bit of glitter! It wasn't a 'milestone' birthday (I turned 32...not sure how I feel about that...) and so it was just a quiet one with my family. For the manicure I used three coats of Bourjois Rose Lounge, a sheer pretty pink, and two different gold glitters for the tips: Milani Gold gems and an un-named gold micro glitter. The accent nail is stamped with Barry M Gold Foil and an image from Pueen 45.
I had convinced my self when I was planning this manicure that I had OPI Bubble Bath in my stash, but I've never actually owned it. Do you ever do that? Think you have a polish but don't? I felt really dumb when I realised! Dementia must be setting in... Anyway, I think this worked just as well in the end!

Adventures in Stamping - Favourite flower
Hi!
The first Adventures in Stamping Sunday challenge was to base your mani on your favourite flower. My favourite are daffodils (hurry up spring!) but I don't have a daffodil image in my plate collection (is there one?) so I improvised. The image I used from Cheeky CH12 could be taken for daffodils if you squint, and I used green and gold to simulate the colours. The green is from a set by Royal Cosmetics that I got for Christmas (it's nice enough, just has that lovely smell - you know it aint 3-free...) and Barry M Gold Foil for the stamping. The glitter accent is Milani Gold Jewel Effect with a fine gold holo glitter on top.
I didn't think I'd like this mani, but I actually really do. I had it in my head that green and gold would be too festive, but it really does remind me of spring. The green isn't a shade I'd normally choose for myself either, but it actually suits me somewhat. You learn something new everyday...

In the pink...
Evening all!
I had a craving for some pink, so I had a rummage in my ever expanding untrieds and came up with OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips, a really pretty hot pink, perfect for summer. I teamed it with some gold glitter (Milani Gold Jewel FX, W7 Gold Dazzle and Nails Inc Glamour Glitter), and some stamping and this is the result!
Simple and pretty. Sometimes things just work :)
