I had a new hair cut again.. Hehehe. This time round, Its special. Not done in Singapore. But Johore Bahru! :)) Pls say that I look OK... now i can serve my medications to patient at ease.. lol. And once i am back from leave, i have yet to hands on the E-IMR! drats..haizzzz..

I had fun @ Esplanade today with my best cina lians.






I hearts my camera! I did not use auto mode all the way. I did change the aperture to make the background looks blur when i am taking individual portrait. I am practicing. Few examples below..








I discovered a mosque at Boat Quay area there.



I bumped into a makan place " Warong M.Nasir". I wonder does that makan place belongs to him? Anyone can answer me? ps: I wanna bring Liyana, Fini and Suhailah one fine day!




We walked from Esplanade to Boat Quay to Clarke Quay and had mock tail which was the life saver of my throat. Because it was a scorching hot day today!






Had lunch at McDonalds and discover something.. The style of typical Singaporean reserving a place for themselves while they buy their food. Hehehe. I didn't say its a bad or a good thing..

thats my first dslr camera. whee! ok ok. Dont ask me why i jump on purchasing canon eos 1000d. It has been a thorough decision made. From nikon D60 to Sony alpha 200 or alpha 300. To Olympus E520. And at last the canon eos 1000d is mine..

hehehe.. I went to the IT fair on the very first day and boy. It was really swarmed with soooo many people. I swear that it was WORST comparing to the fasting month @ Geylang serai bazaar. First day, went there with Farini, Liyana and my Sister. Ayuni came and join us later and i must say, it's really fun to have these people accompanying you and telling you their opinions.

But at the very end of the day, i did not buy anything. It was my sister who ended up buying a samsung mp4.

On Saturday, i went to the fair again. And this time round, i was like still in that dilemma. I know I would like to invest my money on these gadget but which one.

So, i keep thinking and thinking. I have did my research and listen to the professionals. Like going there and being able to hold the camera and the one that you feel ccomfortable while holding, then its for you. I must say, that nikon D60, still has the place in my heart..

Peijie and Jiali were there with me this time round.

And jeng jeng. I got my first DSLR!

So happy!

I met Riana who was with her sister and she bought nikon D60..

So so.. my next step.. i wanna go for photography lesson. :))

initailly today, i wanted to go to Sentosa or pulau ubin but sadly, the weather have not been really friendly nowadays. hehehe..

honesly, if you ask me, i would just say that i am not a pious muslimah but i have a little knowledge impart in me since young.. So, while watching this movie, i nearly teared.. to remember the time when he actually mumbled 'ummati, ummati' nearing his death..

I was forced to taste a RAW SALMON! YUCKY!



the best thing that would happen, would be having a reunion with the peers you are close with. Since Ina has started working in the different ward, she decided to have a reunion dinner. Together with Ervin who was still in the maternity leave. She is still that mad mother who sings goyang dombret even after giving birth to a baby boy. Shikin came together with her ehem ehem.. Isman.. And Ina's fiance joined in the fun when she told him that we were attacking the cash studio karaoke soon. From what Ina told me, he is the king of karaoke. We had our dinner @ Sakura buffet international. You dont expect a food nerd like me to be enjoying much of the sushies and stuffs. I dont even taste the shark fins soup. the picture of a shark just came into my mind. I cant! I never once consume japanese food. i was dared to taste a raw salmon and gosh. It taste terrible! Horrible and whatever words that can describe it la! I swear.

I did want to vomit it out. But i stayed cool..

Once dinner ended, we walked all the way from Somerset to Ming centre. The hillarious thing was, Ervin was having blister due to the new croc that she was wearing and Shikin suggested to buy some cartoon slippers from 7-11. :P

Karoake and Karaoke..We sang till early morning. It was like my second karaoke session so, you would expect a kuku like me to enjoy. What surprise me was, Ina has a wonderful voice and Shikin stunned me with the rocker song..

hehehe.. I already mentioned to Liyana that I wanna bring her to the first karaoke session with Su and Fini..

And I enjoyed myself going out with my peers that very day despite of the need to wake up damn early morning for class... :))

Was in the morning shift at work today

A patient of mine: was actually in a state of derpession as her prognosis is not really on the brighter side. I have nursed her for few days and i can see how depress she is. :(

Being in a medical oncology ward is challenging yet it do teaches me a lot of stuffs. Unknowingly.. every cancer patients will experience pain. And i actually did a nursing research essay during my polytechnic times about 'cancer pain'. And yes people. The untolerable pain can never be describe by them. Only the patients, themselves will be able to know what this pain is but unable to put it in words.

Back about my patient. MDM X. ( i wont reveal her name here for confidentially purposes). She gave all the nursing staffs packets of biscuits. How sweet right.. And my nursing manager and clinician decided to return her with a card. Which will be written by all the staffs..

And I actually wrote it in Malay. As usual la. I feel much more comfortable expressing my feelings in Malay. mine me. She is a malay, so thats the reason i am able to wrote my message in Malay..

those words was from one of Siti Nurhaliza's songs. I couldnt put it in my own words since i have to think fast and wrote the card. So, i dont know why these words just appeared on my mind.. But nursing her for few days, i just wanna convey the message that she is not alone. We, the nurses are there to accompany her through out the care and treatment.

i really hope she do get better.

Ok... i went to Causeway point with my partner in crime. Who else. That Liyana la. :)) Initially, i had a plan to change to a new phone but but.. being that fickle me.. i didnt at last. And Liyana truly understands me despite accompanying me after work..

Had dinner at McDonalds and chat about our endless works and some unpleasant people who we came across while working.

Before we decided to go home, Liyana went to Bossini and bought a bottom. Suddenly that shopping mood of mine appeared la.. So, i told Liyana. Lets go Charles and Keith. And we bought a pair of shoes.. Whee! :))

And here i am at home.. :))

I wanna finish reading my 'Ayat Ayat cinta' by next week..

Last but not least. i am praying so hard. Very hard hoping that Nadhirah and Jiali got their March leaves. So that we could embark our journey for holiday.. And i really hope that my dear dad allows me too. I have to talk to him tomorrow. :))
