We celebrated T's birthday this week--we started out the day at the Social Security office applying for SSI. It took an hour and a half of questioning then yesterday in the mail I got a she got a packet in the mail with all the same questions that they want to hand write out--you've got to be kidding! I am going to call on Monday and see if maybe they just crossed in the mail. Why would she spend all that time answering them in the office just to answer the same things on paper (which by the way is MUCH more difficult for her---that's why she had her testing given to her orally in school---we will see...) We then went out to lunch. We were going to go to SLC and eat there while I picked up train tickets at AMTRAK. Since I am using rewards points I need to purchase them from the office in person. Come to find out the office hours are 10:30 PM - 5:30 AM! So K and I are going down tonight instead.
