Living with the Dehners

Living with the Dehners was the highlight of us being homeless.  We sold our house so quick, but we just couldn't imagine leaving Ohio so soon.  We had to finish out the year for Tay's schooling and to finish out Seminary..  And play a little more.
Luckily, we have GREAT friends that put us up for a few weeks.  After living with them we hardly wanted to go to the furnished apartment we had set up for the month of May.  But I'm sure they were ready to kick us out. :)  Here are some pictures we took of our 2nd annual great wolf lodge trip.  I hope we can make it a tradition!!
 The Nadauld gang

Jake loved the slides

Luke Just loved the water

Sam didn't get in the water much but luckily Amber (8 mos prego) was willing to cuddle with him while we all went on rides.  THANKS!
Battling the waves.  It's what my kids dream of ---- Taylor and Mike weren't too easy on the waves either.  It was rough out there.
 Sam and Taylor
 Cute Morgan and Miles
Another photo of Sam looking bewildered.  I swear he seems cute to us, but every picture I take he looks like this???  Isn't he huge for a 2 1/2 month old??

Me and my three sons. Too much fun!

Story time was a highlight and the kids even got to meet Great Wolf himself.  But the night wasn't complete until Taylor told the kids an exciting bedtime story.  What a great Dad and quasi Uncle. :)

FUN RUN 2009

What a fun family night we had....

The 3 Nadauld contestants.  Although, Sam was mostly a bystander.

Our friend Kirsten planned a fun run for the whole neighborhood.  We had such a great time.  The boys (especially Jacob) looked forward to this event for an entire year!!

Luke ran first and when he was paying attention is did great.  He's pretty athletic, but doesn't really have the competitive edge Jake does.  He enjoyed himself though.  I guess that is what matters!!
Jake ran hard and was REALLY bumbed he didn't win.  But he did run faster than a few 6 year olds and that made his day.  He's the competitive one around here -- I think he gets it from his daddy.
The after-party celebration.  Kirsten provided real medals (that were chocolate) and popsicles for all the contestants.  SCORE!

Springtime Fun

Sam is getting bigger.......      I have to include the token bath picture. He doesn't look too thrilled, but he usually loves the water.
Luke having a playdate with his buddies, Miles and Drew
Carolee had her baby this week -- Cute Malcolm -- So, we got to play with the big kids for a couple hours and spent time at the one of many parks in UA.  I hope you got some rest Carolee.

My boys FAVORITE past time is building forts.  They are getting pretty good at it.

Easter Activities

Easter Sunday, the boys looked so handsome in their suits, but of course when I asked Taylor to go take a picture of them outside, I just got these couple pictures back.  Oh well, you can tell they are sweet little boys anyway. Right?

The Dehner kids came with us for the Easter Egg hunt.  Thanks to Becky Larson who organized it all for the ward.  It was chilly, but lots of fun and not to mention lots of CANDY!
Jake and Luke got plenty of loot

Luke had as much fun climbing on the playground as he did searching for eggs.

We even got to see the Easter bunny at Giant Eagle.  That store is the greatest.  They had organized a big scavenger hunt throughout the store and ended up seeing the Easter Bunny.  The kids loved it and IT WAS FREE.  too bad Utah doesn't have things like that.  I think they would get over run by kids.
