Our Bentley
It was a sad day... Sept. 16th, 2024.
We got Bentley in 2012, he was a year old when we got him.
(you can read about him and our Tabby in the Cat tab) Our family has enjoyed that *good boy*. He even survived a 7 hour road trip last year from MD to our now home state.
Our New homeOur kids liked to joke how much I fed him and how fat he had become. He tipped the scales at 19 pounds at one time. Bentley loved to follow us everywhere, especially whenever we were in the kitchen. I always said he was more like a dog then a cat. He meowed when spoken to, came when you called his name and just enjoyed being in the same room with you. He loved his family.
He tried to fit...Over the last few years though he had slowly started to slow down. His favorite time was chow time (of course!) In the morning I always fed him first. Then I would get coffee and listen to my Bible and then he enjoyed laying half on my lap until I got up.
Bentley having lap timeHe had not been eating or drinking and just wanted to sleep and lay in his favorite spots.
We decided to take him to the Vet and found out he had a tumor. The hardest part was watching him take his last breath and having to tell our kids and Grands he was gone.
We miss you Bentley and are so glad you were a part of our family!
