Wow been very very long since i last blogged. Kept forgetting to blog lol. The hols has largely been of stress n school( and freaking pw). My previous post about yay to the hols coming has apparently been partly incorrect -_-

Freaking pw has been ruining my hols, n hence, i haf decided to ignore pw for the whole of this holidays.(which means i haf to face the bloody consequences when school reopens) Now whenever i think of school, my mood is ruined. I nearly gave up on organising the 2/6'05 outing when i thought abt the outing rite after thinking abt sch.(Yes, really) Good thing i managed to pull myself away frm tt thought immediately. Yes, sch is tt scary. PJC is probably the first ever sch tt i've hated, n i hope tt it's the last. When u haf boring ppl for classmates and **** *&%^*%^&%*^% teachers, u wld hate ur sch. And i'm jus 1 week away frm tt freaking sch -_-

Now when i go out with those poly ppl, i feel tt poly life is much more relaxed. Sometimes i even think abt quitting jc rite now n switching to poly next year, though its just a fleeting thought. Hais.. Think i will jus haf to force myself to got thru the next 4-5mths(which is 16-20 freaking weeks) until the next major hols. No the 1 week sept holos isn't considered a holiday as those perverse freaks in school will probably call us back for everyday of the week. N i'll haf to spend my birthday doing the bloody end-of-year exam T_T

Now i'm off to seek refuge in the fifth n newest world of Eirdanus in Maple. (YAY 2nd job!)

Been long since i last blogged. Having lots of random thoughts, so different thoughts are separated by lines.

*********************************************************************************

Too much homework!!! AHHHHHH!!! Now i haf dunnoe how many pieces of hmwk that are supposed to be handed up but nt yet handed up... Seriously wondering how i'm gonna finish all these work. Now i dun haf enuff time to both work and play. If i onli work and dun play, life will be extremely dull. If i onli play n dun work, i'll probably get expelled and nt get to university. If i wan to work and play, i wld need to make earth spin slower so that there wld be more time in each day, but tt wld mean longer school time evryday T_T Then there's NS. If we go NS after JC, we wld probably forget evrything we learnt in JC when we get to university, then we wld haf to start over again. Tt means more work to be done TT_TT. And we would also be calling all our current female classmates as seniors. (#)=(-_-0)

********************************************************************************

I never really liked pets. Not that i think pets are disgusting or bad or anyth like that. Jus tt i think that animals are also alive and i think that we shd all be equal. I dun think taking it away frm its orignal home to another foreign place that it cant survive on its own is a good thing. To u, a pet may only be part of ur life but to a pet, its owner is its life. So when people abandon pets, i would haf a very intense urge to find the owner and beat him up, which is very retarded and hence, never practised. It would be gd if we can interact with animals of all sorts, but as friends who are free to lead their own lives. In this modern world, this thinking may be too idealised and impossible, but i'm willing to bet that with all the evils from Pandora's box still existing, Hope is also helping lives everywhere.

********************************************************************************

I've been having this thought for a long time. At the end of JC, we could all have go overseas together and haf fun since we wld all be 18 years old! We wld haf a few mths b4 we get our 'A' levels and a few more mths b4 we go NS/enrol for uni. Poly students shd also be having hols arnd tt time. I was thinking abt going Genting, since it has nice weather, fun theme park, and places for ppl to shop. It's also quite cheap compared to other places. So how abt it?

*********************************************************************************

Sometimes i jus wish that evolution took a different path. Whenever I see all the negative things ppl do to nature, I would think how it would be like if humans remained as primates. We would be living together with nature, foraging fruits from trees, occasionally being hunted. Somehow this picture appeals to me more than the current world. Some ppl may say," We wouldn't haf all this technology and conveniences in life!" So what? It's not as if we lost anything. How do u lose something that nvr existed? Others may say that there are still people who try to protect nature. Well i appreciate their effort, but they can onli do so much. It's them against the rest of the world who takes from nature without returning. I await the day when humans finally live up to the name of homo sapiens and start doing intelligent things. Or maybe i'll jus wait for the invention of a machine to travel to a parallel universe where evolution did take a different, and hopefully, better turn.

*****************************************************************************

I jus completed my pokedex n now i need to complete the national pokedex. I haf evryth i need except the FireRed and LeafGreen cartridges. Anyone care to lend me?

*****************************************************************************

This is how i feel whenever there is no school the next day

finally found time to blog. Today is e-learning day. NO SCHOOL!!! WOOHOO!!! So here I am, blogging. Nth much happened yesterday, except that I was immensely sleepy yesterday.

But LOADS of things happened during the weekends. Me and my family and relatives(my father's side), six families in total, went to a fishing village called Kukup, in JB, Malaysia. LOADS OF FUN THERE. Actually the fun came mainly from me and my cousins. Let's see...

Firstly, we all got on 2 vans chartered by my aunt at 7+ in the morning. Then met up at woodlands checkpoint at 8+, then went thru customs, then went to a small coffeeshop for breakfast. After that the driver drove us to a temple, and everyone offered incense to all the gods there. I went around looking all the statues and carvings. Then there a pebble path there, and everyone walked around it, resulting in severe foot pain and lots of jumping around but we had fun =D

After that, we were driven to a mangrove forest at the most southern tip of mainland asia. It required an entrance fee, and 5RM for malaysians and 10RM for foreigners. So the driver told the auntie that we were malaysians, while all of us kept quiet, for we were afraid that a single word in english would betray our status as Singaporeans. And it actually worked! So we went in. Took loads of pictures and thankfully, I found my card reader and sent all my pictures into my computer !!=D But i wun be uploading every pic, since it will lag ppl down. If u all wan to see all the pics, u can see it from my phone.

We walked through the mangrove forest on boardwalks, while admiring the scenery. We saw a few mudskippers and small crabs here and there and even a monitor lizard. There were also some very interesting root formations of the trees(they were mangrove trees), including one that looked like a spider. Then when we got to the most southern tip, things changed. It was a sort of jetty, and instead of the humid air in the forest, it was very windy! There was a gigantic globe in the middle with all the continents on it, and when the wind blows, the globe will turn! At the top of it was written something like "Welcome to the Southern Most Tip of Mainland Asia." Stayed there for quite a while looking at the see view and taking more pictures and enjoyed the wind. Then we walked to another location, also a sort of a beach, just that instead of sand, its very smooth looking mud. We were standing on quite a high boardwalk, so none of us got muddy. There were many more mudskippers on the beach. Big ones, small ones, fast ones, slow ones. It was plain fascinating to see this amazing scenery filled with life. Then we walked back to the vans for lunch. None of us realised that it was already lunch time. Time passes when u are having fun. Outside of the entrance, there was a small river, or maybe a big stream. There was a fallen coconut tree in the middle. I was looking at the river when suddenly i saw the amazing mudskipper. It sprinted down from one side othe bank, across the surface of the water, jumped over the tree, and across the surface of the water on the other side of the river, to the other bank. The mudskipper was onli a few centimetres long and the river was about 50 times its size. Mudskippers are amazing.

So we went into the van and continued on our way. Then we arrived in Kukup and had our lunch there. After that we went to the house that we were staying in. Most of Kukup are stilt houses, though now most of the stilts are concrete pillars, and they haf concrete-pathways-on-concrete pillars instead of wooden boardwalks. Beneath all this is are all mud, which will be flooded with seawater when the tide rises. When the tide is down, all the mudskippers will be out walking(crawling) around. They haf a very cute way of crawling with their fins and u could look at them for a long time. The house we stayed in had an excellent view. At the back of the house where there is a sort of a very big balcony, u could see a vast expanse of mudland, and beyond that, another stretch of mangrove forest. On the mudland were hundreds, or maybe thousands of crabs and mudskippers. Simply wonderful view.

It seems that the people there rent out their houses to people like us for a few days and they will take of evrything for us while we stay there. While rented, they would stay in some other places. The house was very big. There were 5 rooms, 2 of which had 4 bunk beds each and the other 3 had lots of mattreses. Then at the big balcony there was a sort of barbecue pit. There were 2 tv sets in the house, and they could had channel 8, channel 5, channel u, and channel newasia! So we went in and settled down and had som rest. Me and my cousins played cards in one the mattress rooms. Then we had a pillow fight, and i had a very bad flu from all the dust in there T_T After some rest, at around 3, we went on a boat ride to a kelong. Its sort of like a floating wood structure that is anchored and they rear fish and other commercial aquatic life there. There were big food fishes(forgot the name), jellyfishes, archer fishes, and even sharks and horseshoe crabs. I got to play with the archer fish. I held a piece of food over the water, then the archer fish would stare at it, then suddenly it would shoot a jet of water at it(hence the name archerfish). I also got to hold the horseshoe cracb and touch the shark. In chinese, the name of the shark would be dog shark, because of the dog-like canines that it possessed. Like all sharks, it had a rough skin, but quite nice to touch. Then after that, we went back to boat and then we took a walk down the main street, where most of the shops are. Looked around, walked around, bought sugarcane juice to drink, ate bandung pudding, which was quite nice, and basically just talked with my cousins.

Then after that we went back for dinner. The owners of the house barbecued food for us. While waiting, we played cards, played mahjong, had fun =D Other people were playing with firecrackers and we would loud bangs every now and then and we would get to see beautiful fireworks in the sky. Then we started eating. The food was quite good, especially the Otak. Then after that we watched tv, talked, bathed, watched somemore tv and we went to sleep around 12.30 (onli for me, 2 cousins, and an uncle. The rest slept earlier)

The next day, woke up at 6 in the morning to see the sunrise. Very very cold weather. Everyone was waiting in the balcony while wrapped in blankets. Then we waited and talked and waited. When the sky started to brighten up, we were abit disappointed as it was blocked by the clouds. But the clouds eventually cleared to let us haf a good view of the beautiful morning sun. Took many more photos. Then the owner delivered breakfast, consisting of nasi lemak and fried noodles. They also warmed up last night's leftovers from the barbecue. Quite a nice breakfast. Then we continued to watch tv while the adults played mahjong and talked. We left the house at around 11+ and we went for lunch. After that, we got in to the vans and off we went. First the van took us to a shop that sold some local products. We bought some nice ones, then continued on.

We arrived at a gigantic shopping center called tebrau city. It was something like vivo city. We split up and walked around the shopping center. Most of the shops sold clothes and cosmetics and stuff like that. I foudn a shop called Harris, opened by Popular. I thought that i could find some good books, but sadly, all the books there are quite old.. So in the end i bought nothing. Met up with the others at 5 pm, and we went back into the van and went to a seafood restaurant for dinner. It was on the shore and it had a view of sembawang beach and seletar island. The setting sun could also be seen, so many more pictures were taken. The food there was simply delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

After the delicious meal, we went back into the van and this the destination was home. So we talked somemore on the van. Then we cleared the customs and we went home. Though it was quite a short trip, it was a fun one. Fun because we were with each other, and also fun because the air there was fresh, and most importantly, we could thoroughly enjoy ourself without thinking about our work and all the other troublesome stuff. I'm so happy that I haf very close relationships with my cousins. Hope that the supposed trip to pulau redang in june would be realised, then we could haf more fun =D

p.s. Wow this post has a word count of 1539!
