So I have actually finished a few things, not many but its much harder to find time to stitch with Payton in the house, lol.

The first is the Holly and the Ivy from the Drawn Thread. I sewed mill hill beads around the edges, I think it really makes a nice finish.

Next is Oh Deer by Just Nan. I finished it by painting a little wooden sled white and mounting it on there. I think next time I will paint the sides of the runners with some little design, who knows.

The pincushion is Peekaboo Pincushion by Indigo Rose.

Next is Joyful Night by Shepherds Bush, I really like that design. I've stitched it several times.

The last one is Just Nans newest mouse. Its Gingerbread Angel Mouse and its pretty cute. It has little wings on its back and a little sequin halo on its head.  Very quick and fun stitch.

Soooo, here it is, September and I haven't been stitching at all.  My 17 month old grandson Payton has come to live with me and as much as I would like to blame it on him, I just cant.  I have started to work on LHN Warm Winter Woolens and I'm hoping I can get back in the stitching groove. I missed stitching for quite a while but feel like I'm just used to not doing it now.  My friend Wendy bought me the new Just Nan, Miss Witchy Mouse and I really want to get started on it too. 

I am going to try and post a couple times a week at least, I've been having problems with blogger and that is making even posting kind of difficult but I'm still going to try and my goal is to have a pic of "SOMETHING" stitched by Monday morning.  Wish me luck:)

So, I'm in a stitching slump, if you couldn't tell. I just want to pull my hair out. I start and start and start and stop and stop and stop.


Hoping to get my "stuff" together soon and start stitching and not just starting. Truth is I miss it so much when this happens. I miss having something that occupies my mind and hands. Something good anyway, lol. See you soon, I hope!
