Optimism is good

Well, two weeks of SPM are over. Most of the heavy reading subjects are over too. And I'm in a very light and happy and good mood right now. So I shall blog before I go on my date with Biology. =)

I had my music exam this morning. *nervous laugh* Does "Good morning, sir" contribute to the marks? Lol! Well, I hope it does. Kantoi-ed a scale or two. Luckily I'm not one who has pressure over music exam results. Though I hope Distinction is still possible *fingers together*... If not, the world hasn't ended. Not 2012 yet. And it's not SPM.

Oh SPM. Just 5 more subjects to go now. And I am so excited for post SPM programmes. :D:D

There's the class dinner right after Chemistry paper. Then a day in cinema watching movies, if I'm not mistaken. Then, DAMAI!! Wahahahahahhahha! Then KL. Then... Bau. Haha! National service ain't so bad. I'll go kayaking and do the flying fox and shoot a gun and eat six times a day and still get to go to church every Sunday. Then after that... well, we'll see. :)

This is even better than my post PMR programmes (which were actually awesome even though I fell into a BABY pool -.-")

Exam years are pretty cool. Really. Optimism is good. :D:D

My last day of school

Today's the day. The LAST day of school. Seriously. SPM next week doesn't count as "school". =(

Went to school today and saw all me kawans in prefects' uniform.

Me: Why are you guys in prefects' uniform?

Marilyn: Manda ask one.

Me: Why you didn't ask me!?

Amanda: Eh! I forgot about you!

Me: Whhhaaaatttt!!!!!

And the day started with me throwing a tantrum. =3

Since when is it that it's the friends who forgets the award winner and not the other way around? =(

Anyway, we had our taklimat SPM today and a tea party after that and we took A LOT of pictures. :D Too lazy to post them here but there're all in Facebook. I truly believe that the tagging system in Facebook is genius. Now we can all take pictures anywhere we want, with anyone's camera and be rest assured that we'll get the pictures without even the need to ask. :D

Heidi Munan came to school today! We took a picture with her too! xD And and and.... she said she wants to include all the Form 5s in next year's book! xDxD

So me kawans and I got together for a brainstorming session and decided to write the school a letter. Gonna publish it here just in case our letter doesn't make it into the book. :)

Dear St. Teresa,

HAPPY 125th BIRTHDAY!

We are your children of year 2009. Though we come from different backgrounds, we have come together as one under your roof. In you, we have learnt not only academic knowledge, but we have also acquired some of life’s most valuable lessons. Through you, we have met our dedicated and responsible teachers who are our constant source of inspiration. They too have helped us blossom from young girls into fine young ladies, ready to take the world by storm!

Through the years, you have stood strong for generations of Teresians. Through you, we have found our best of friends, i.e each other. From this pivotal moment, we are going to part ways and undertake different roles in society. However, despite our differences, we have realised our common ground – YOU! We promise that we will give back to you as well as to the society. Just as you have blessed us, we too will become a blessing to you and to the world.

A shout out to the younger generations: The best school is not judged by its facilities and appearance, but by its people and virtues. We have but hopes and dreams for your bright future.

Once a Teresian, always a Teresian!

To love and to serve,

Abigail Dayang

2 years ago today and today

That's me 2 years ago today. :)

Leeching Kher Lee's plague

I haven't got a picture of me today but today was really fun. (Ignore the fact that I'm not supposed to be here, onlining and updating :P) Band was awesome. Buat kali pertama dalam 5 tahun, I watch band perform. xD

Then the photography session was pretty nice too. I leeched Alicia's camera for 2 days. She was so afraid I'd camwhore with it. Lol. Well, I didn't. But her camera must have been so afraid of me - it died-ed on me. Haha.

I was clapping like mad for all my pals and band members until my palms hurt. Had to fan 'em with the programme book, but that was fine.

Speaking of pals, sorry guys, I didn't get interviewed. Not even a photographer left! Lol! But if I mention your names here, it counts no? :)

Thanks to:

Amanda Voon, Marilyn Voon, Kimberly Tan, Elaine Yong, Maryann Chang and Debbie Janin who could have gone back earlier but stayed back anyways just to cheer for me. They stood up and took pictures for me some more! :D You know I love you guys, right? Right??? Hello?

And thanks to Band too! They stood up!! xD And thanks for the Congratulations after that. :) Made my day, that one. Hehe!

2012 premiers today, according to Nabil's mum. I wish I can go watch.

Marilyn, Marilyn, Marilyn, Marilyn! Life is but a dream!

In the wise words of Olivia in her essay:

The best thing in life is to celebrate my very own existence, the unique, special and vibrant me!

So this I say to you right now.

Happy celebrating your 17th year of existence!

It's been great knowing you and I hope this won't be the last time we celebrate your birthday together.

Welcome to the 17th club, my sleepmate for 2 nights in a small single bed!

Not much nice memories there... what with your knee jabbing into my stomach and your elbow hitting my face in the middle of the night. But oh wells, what else is there to expect when two somewhat fat people like you and me share a single bed. =.="

I know tomorrow we might be going out to celebrate your 17th year of existence, 17 days away from SPM. And you have successfully coaxed your cousin to be your party planner. Two words though: Party kia. Haha!

Happy birthday, kawan. :D
