Happy chinese new year

Happy Chinese New Year! May you all get lots of ang paus. ;)

I'm not really in the New Year mood this year. I'm feeling dull. My nieces came to my house yesterday and they were so cute! I wish I had entertained them more but I kinda got tired after one of them kept pestering me for games. So I turned on the computer and let her play the games but she kept losing so I had to keep restarting for her and that went on for quite a long time.... Lol. So yealar, I got tired after awhile and told her "No more games liaw..." Hahahaha! I feel so bad though. It's not like she can play computer games everyday... I'm so sorry!

I visited Maxine's, Amanda's and Kim's house today. I've been wanting to go Max's house since last December because she got herself a new guitar controller for Guitar Hero. I really wanted to try it out just now.... then there's the 'but' factor... the wireless spoiled. =.="

I played with the normal controllers in the end but I guess it doesn't matter so long as I got to play Guitar Hero. I won against Maxine for the first time! Muahaha. But that was because I was playing "Easy" and she was playing "Expert". =.=" Cut steam. I won against Maxwell too even though he cheated. Lol! And I was taller than Michelle..... for today. =P 

Then Kim and I went off to Amanda's house where she urshered us into her "temporary store room". The room was temporarily a store room because her new house has not even one cupboard. They keep their books in their luggage bags.... Marilyn brought her little brother. And Marilyn's little brother likes Kim. Haha. And I don't think Amanda's bedroom is messy at all. She said it's messy and I told her I expect nothing less from her... but maybe our measure of messiness is just.... different. She said my room must be a lot messier then. Lol. No la. =) It's quite clean now that I don't do anything in it anymore besides changing.

After that we went off to Kim's house because Erica wasn't home. So this happened when we reached Kim's gate....

Kim: My mum's coming home now.

Us: Ok.

......

Me: So... do you have the key?

Kim: No. Hahahahhahaha!

So we sat in the car and laughed while waiting for her mum to reach home. We wanted to visit the playground but decided not to. So we waited some more until her mum reached home and saw us standing outside. Haha.

Then when we entered the house, Kim let Hubble out of his cage and he ran around everybody, making Marilyn and I screamed like what. Even my brother took 2 pillows to brace himself. -___-" Hubble seems to like my mum though. Haha. And he has Chinese New Year shirt! And he eats oranges. So funny lar that dog. The other dog at the back was not so lucky though. It was so ugly and has a face like a gorilla. Kim's mother said it looks like alien. Lol!

And then I went home and slept. Visiting again tomorrow, anyone?

Cuts and bruises

I can't wait for holidays next week. I feel myself slacking already. I want to watch Can-Can! But where to find? Where to find?? Maybe it's time I start visiting original VCD shops. Never thought I'd say this but pirated discs are so advanced lar! Want to find a 1960 movie also so hard... not that I ever try but still... haha.

I just watched the video Drea posted on the heart cutting in biology. I realise I really do I talk staccato-ly. Why hor?! Sigh. Never mind la... talk staccato talk staccato la... won't die one. =.=

I went go-karting yesterday with Deb and Drea. So crazy. Just before our turn, we were talking about the course. We could only go clockwise.

Deb: You know if they one day ever want to change course?

Me: Just go anti-clockwise!

And that's what I did. So cool hor? =___="

I'd never driven anything before in my life except for kiddy pom pom cars ok. When I first drove the cart, I didn't know how to stop. Apparently I'm just not used to using break so I drove non-stop. The helmet was so damn big some more that it blocked half my vision.

Rule No. 1 of go-karting: Don't wear specs.

My specs nearly dropped off my face! Everything was so damn blur, I didn't know where to turn so I broke the barrier and drove anti clockwise, nearly banging into Deb and Andrea who were dumbfounded at my crazy driving. And I went anti clockwise twice.

And I banged the wall twice. Well I think I banged the sides for a lot of times la but I knocked that same spot with the same big impact twice. -.-" I actually have cuts and bruises while the birthday girl and Deb escaped unscathed.

Only today Francoise told me to not go go-karting. She said I look so injured. Hahahaha. I think go-karting might be too extreme for me. Lol. Andrea called me lousy when I told her of my injury. Oh wells... once in a lifetime.

Anyways, this is my 200th post! And.. and... I've found myself a name. =) Thanks to all the people who suggested and voted and decided and then suggested again. The last part really gave me a headache. Lol. But I feel so much lighter now that I've got my name. ^.^

I *heart* piggy

Exactly 3 months before my birthday, I chopped off a pig's heart. This post is so tidak halal. Haha.

I made my mum buy a pig's heart and a kidney in the wet market this morning. The kind butcher nearly cut the kidney for us when my mum went "No! No!". The butcher stared at us as though we were mad....

Anyway, the pig's heart~! :D I suppose for urban kids, you know you've grown up when you've held a pig's heart in your hands. :P

I was going to cut the heart but then it looked so huge so I chickened out and decided to cut the kidney first. =.=

When we bought it, the butcher was like, tossing it about and my heart really went out to that thing. I was so scared he would damage the medulla. =.=" Apparently, medulla was all I remembered of the kidney structure. Die ah not...

So I chopped it into two and tada...!

I forgot which side was longitudinal and which side was horizontal (although it was really very obvious but I didn't know mah! -.-) so I simply chose a side and cut lor.

When I opened it, it looked like this.

The atria were so small... I thought it didn't have any atria at first. I think the cow's heart the other day also got atria lar, but it was just so small, I thought the butcher chopped it off. Kesian.

Actually hor, there was nothing to do after cutting except see see. The whole thing lasted for a short 20 minutes nia. -__-"

After 20 minutes, I had to clean up already because I got bored.

I actually asked my mum to get me the scalpel to cut... but then my mum said the kitchen knife would do a better job.

Why?

Because after cutting, we can keep them in the fridge and cook it the following day.

I sometimes think I am a bit disturbed, that in the midst of answering accounts, I can have a panic attack. And that just because I found a pair scissors under my desk in class and wanted to try it, I cut my old essay paper because that was the only thing I could find. Weird psychology.

Anyway, I LOVE Sound of Music.

Ok la, I know it was made decades ago and I'm living in the past but it's so funny! I laughed so hard!

I was suddenly inspired to sing. I've been singing plenty of I Will Follow You, the scary versions that even Erica and Dae couldn't stand me anymore.

Me: Fine la. Give me another song.

Dae: Why?

Me: So that I can sing other song.

Dae: But I don't want to hear you sing!

Heartbroken. Hahahahhaha!

We had band audition this morning. I thought it was one of the most organised audition in years. There were tables and chairs arranged, one of each for every section. Then we chased the current members out for sectionals and it was show time. The newbies could queue and rotate around the stations, trying every instrument. Well, except tuba. =( I honestly think the younger generations should eat more. Whatever happened to the "younger ones drink better milk and are thus bigger" theory?! Anyway, there was hardly any chaos unlike the flea market last time. Marilyn, Erica and I even had time to try out I Will Follow You to entertain the newbies. :) Two of them nearly lost my fan. Hmph. ;p

After audition, we brought them for their first marching practice. I actually taught them the wrong thing! So sia soi.... I forgot my left was their right so I ended up teaching them right face while shouting "Left face!". Adui...! Then again, how come they didn't think it weird that they had to turn right to a left face command?? =.="

And finally, I ripped Eleena off all her money today. Poor girl. I told her she owe me at least RM 30 so she actually prepared RM 40.... only to find out that she owed me RM 42. Haha! So kesian. She had to dig her wallet. And emptied it for me. Her wallet only had two 50 cents and ten 10 cents left and she gave them all to me. Dad said I'm heartless. =P I'll buy you ice cream, Eleena. Haha.

Oh wait, I played ping pong with Marilyn this morning! We are going to play against each other every week and learn how to hold the bat together. =) Our ping pong ball even hit a TKD member during their practice. Apparently TKD also cannot fend off the ping pong ball hit by noobs.... no need learn liaw la.... haha. Joke!

Anyway, the things that happen on Kimberly Tan's birthday...

I got pinched by BM teacher today. =(

I did finish my essay! I finished it two days ago..... But I forgot to pack it in my bag today. =.=

Unfortunately, "I forgot to bring" just had to be the most used excuse for unfinished work. So sad.

The three people who sit in front of me were so super mean some more. Since they didn't see teacher pinch me, they went:

"Cikgu! Cubit dia!"

But it was ok because lots of people got pinched too. Haha! Francoise got pinched at her hip! O.o" At least mine's on my hand. :P And Drea covered her ears when teacher aimed so teacher smacked her ass. Lol!

We tried to surprise Kim during recess. Amanda made Kim follow her go somewhere while we prepared the cake. But apparently, of all the people Amanda always asked to follow her, Kim was never one of them. So Kim suspected something. =.=" Should have asked Marilyn. Haha.

Anyway, we took the cake down and lighted the candles in the Sickroom. And we nearly burned down the Sickroom. Haha. No la. :P The candles wouldn't light because they got frozen in the freezer. -.-''

Then Kim appeared and we took the cake out.

"Would you guys kill me if I told you I kinda knew? I was only wondering where you would appear."

Lol! Oh wells. We divided the Mango Cheese cake from Uncle Cat's in the canteen. At least this year, Kimberly Tan muttered "Cool" instead of "Lame"!

After recess, we had Biology. I cut a chicken's heart today. Kim's table cut a cow's heart. No. They cut TWO cows' hearts. Murderesses. :p But I think the atria got chopped off. Haha. Their hands all stank of blood afterwards.

Kim shall forever remember how she turned 17. She murdered two cows on her 17th birthday.

They are all now qualified to be murderesses. They cut two hearts and disposed of their bloody gloves. They cleaned the table that was stained with pools of blood and washed their hands with plenty of soap. Tonight, they shall dream of "Moo.... mooo...."

When we got back to class, Drea found this stack of cardboard poker cards. So funnay. So we played Tai Ti. Drea said it was like caveman playing cards.

And apparently, Kimberly Tan doesn't know how to play Tai Ti. Don't worry, we'll teach you someday. :)

After school, Marilyn and I attended 3 meetings. The funniest one was ISCF meeting. We went in to introduce ourselves. Then we played a game where we had to group with people who share a common interest. Purpose of it was to make us interact with the others la. It might have worked if Marilyn and I were actually normal people with normal interests... we didn't even budge from our spot. Lol.

First there was "Same number of siblings", then there was our Favourite Subject. Guess what did we choose?

Not surprisingly, there were only 4 of us standing in the group. Haha! Us and Ginny and Emily. All wear specs. So nerdy. Lol! The English and the Maths group had the most people.

Me: Eh, what do you like?

Marilyn: I don't know le. I like everything.

Joanna: Ok! EVERYTHING~~!!!!!

So our group was... we like everything. -__-" Only a few people also. Lysandra went to the Japanese Group so we boo-ed her.

Joanna: We like everything arr!! E-ve-ry-thing! Including Japanese!

Then got favourite colour.

Joanna: COLOURFUL~!!!

Lol! Nobody wanted to join us. So sad I tell you. Haha!

The only time I went away from that group was during the Same Hair Length and Same School Bag Colour. Joanna made me laugh until I nearly choked...

And now, it's about 1 hour to midnight. I've had one of my most eventful day yet in 2009 so I hope you've had an even more eventful day. Enjoy the rest of your birthday, Kim. So funny that I now realised I can only either call you "Kim" or "Kimberly Tan" - never "Kimberly". Hm... Anyway, hope you've had a nice 17th. =)

I insulted 2 people 3 times with 1 sentence in 2 days.

First I insulted Deb twice last Saturday. She actually went sunbathing in Sydney for 16 hours on the beach and came back with reptilian skin. Then when she reached Kuching, some salesgirl tried to sell her whitening cream. =.="

Asians like to be fair. I don't know why. My mum drank kopi o when she was pregnant with so now I am living with the "consequences". Anyway, I asked Deb why she bothered spending16 hours tanning under the sun. The sun is so hot!

Me: "Why did you go sunbathing?"

Deb: "Why? Fair not nice what! So pale!"

Me: "But it's not like you weren't black enough!"

Drea: "So insulting!"

The words missed the filter.... haha...

Then we talked about the postcard Deb sent to Andrea from Sydney.

Drea: "Black black one."

Deb: "It was taken inside a cave."

Drea: "What? Why would people want to take pictures inside a cave??"

Deb: "I thought of sending you a black postcard to scare you."

Me: "Why would people take pictures inside a cave??"

Deb: "Because (I forgot what she said)"

Me: "But it's all black boh! People want to buy the postcard also very funny la."

Deb: "Eh! I bought ok! What la you. Insulted me twice already in one day!"

Maxine: "Hey! Remember you asked why would people take pictures inside a cave? Nabil took! She said she felt insulted."

Welcome 2009!

And like every year, here are my new year resolutions. :p

1. Get 100 for any subject at least once.

2. Get a Distinction for next guitar exam.

3. Attend mass on a regular basis.

4. Get straight A1s for SPM.

5. Get 1st in class.

6. Eat healthier.

7. Exercise more.

8. Dress more decently. i.e Buy more decent clothes.

9. Get rid of that evil little voice inside my head.

10. Enjoy 2009. To the fullest.
