Terima Kasih Malaysia!! KeranaMu, saya mendapat ekstra satu minggu cuti! ^^

actually i do need that one week cuti. got sick one day before school reopens. what luck. i woke up one morning with horrible sore throat, throbbing headache and upset stomach. so i rested at home the whole day and missed sectional. later on, i found out, my whole section didn't appear for the sectional. piak.... eli actually told mr reggie: ALL SICK!!!

but then what about the school's merdeka celebration ler? wednesday no school... ish. kek tiok. kerana the celebration, i attended practices and got sick. jangan-jangan no performance in the end. aduh.......

anyways, i went to see the doctor on monday afternoon. luckily not many people at that time. head was already spinning in all directions then, couldn't wait much longer. so i was sitting outside the consultation room and i saw this really cute sign on the door. it was a yellow smiley that said "SMILE!! The doctor will attend to you shortly!" so cute! but it wasn't short though. the doctor's advice: drink plenty of water and don't eat durians! durians?! excuse me... i haven't been eating durians lately lah!

but then.... guess what.... that same evening, my father came home with durians. SWEAT!!! so while my parents and my brothers were feasting on the durians (which apparently was yellow fleshed!!), i had to stay away from the kitchen. but damn durians have such strong smell! so kek tiok!

i haven't been doing much lately. i've just been onlining, watching animes, watching movies, watching tv, reading story books, eating and sleeping. speaking of animes, dn angel is so cool! daisuke is so cute! dark is... i duno. but it's nice!! i want the anime! who got? i want borrow!

Ambition? What ambition?

boy, you won't believe how "easy" it is to study at 1.04 am in front of the computer with a book on a music stand while listening to orchestra music - the final countdown by london symphony orchestra is playing over my speakers now. i know lah orchestra music is boring bla bla bla but i like lah can! ok lah, maybe i don't like it all that much coz i went to SONS concert twice and twice i almost fell asleep.... no wait. maybe i just can't stand looking at a real orchestra... or something.... i don't know lah. kk. wait a moment... gonna glance at my book....

ok. why am i studying you ask? well... i don't know.... i was thinking about what my ambition is during dinner. why i suddenly think bout that ar? well, i was first thinking about buying someone's present which then leads to how broke i am and then to how am i gonna make money to my ambition. simple! you hear about following those older in your family punya footsteps all the time i bet. well, it's not working for me. why? let's see....

my eldest brother is currently studying IT. now, his entire life has probably been about computers. he was the one who would conjure up funny, weird yet enjoyable and fun games when i was like... i duno... 5? games that until now also i don't know originate from which planet. =.=" he knows what he's doing.

then my other brother is planning to study medicine. i don't know how he got to that ambition coz i vividly remember he wrote this essay once about how he will never take up med coz he's scared of blood. well... look who's talking... now, this brother study a lot.... come to my house and you will see him staring at his book. chemistry, bio, add maths, general studies, watever. every night also he read his bio reference.... yea... he knows what he's doing too....

then... me leh? i don't know. i don't know what i'm doing. i think i'm forever inconsistent. study also inconsistent... that's why from highest in geo drop 33 marks into longkang. piak.... by the way, i'm studying geo now. lol. and i don't even know where my interest lies. sure you ever hear the people in movies say something like, "oh nevermind! so long as i have music/you/love/science/maths with me i'll be fine!". crap lah!! no life ar those people!!

ok. don't give up yet!! let's analyse. well... almost 10 years of studying... not a single subject i like.... erm... think harder... THINK!!!...... nah! got nothing! i'm not gonna be a tailor - i'm scared of sewing machines (bad experience last year...). not gonna be an architect - no creativity and am absolutely horribly terribly terukly hopeless in drawing. not gonna be a doctor coz i'm scared to know all the penyakit-penyakit. you not scared meh? i mean you actually know all the penyakit and the symptoms wor!! alamak... i'm so hopeless.....

what have i achieved so far.... well..i have a number of trophies... three medals.... a number of certs.... ran in the stadium negeri in march.... performed on stage.... sold stuff.... managed a game stall..... some more performances.... talked on stage..... got some okok positions.... that's basically it. so sedih... aaaaa!!!!!!!!!!! hin aaaa!!!! how to survive like dat! better go learn how to cook kolo mee now.... and maybe make some secret formula to make my kolo mee extra nice so next time i go sell i shoot to the top and open my own kolo mee restaurant with cawangan worldwide.... muahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in my dreams.........

1.36 am now. phantom of the opera by the same orchestra is on my speakers now. i think i'm just gonna go sleep now...... or maybe study somemore..... dunno lar... need to school somemore tomorrow.... aduh....

Happy holidays!

holidays are finally here! for the first time since... erm, i dunno... many months(?)..... i'm free in the afternoon! feels different. i'm almost never free on afternoons. oh well, a change won't be bad.

do you remember how bad the haze was on saturday before the downpour in the afternoon? yea well, i went to school that morning. unfortunately for me, one of the air conds in the music room was broken. so we were actually being roasted alive in the room. mr reggie came in for like 5 minutes and he asked, "why izit so hot?". imagine the rest of us had already been in there for an hour and shall continue being in there for the next 3 hours. =.=""" many actually seeked refuge in the library where the air cond was working well (i assumed because i didn't run away from my seat) that mr reggie had to send people to call them when he wanted everyone to play. oh well, i was happy. haha. not because of the heat lah! because my section finally kenak puji-ed. usually always kenak forgotten. so sad hor.... 19 august 2006 - first time hear my section kenak puji-ed. hahahahahahahaah.... who say we can't do it!!!!!!

then there was a heavy downpour in the afternoon. i was in tuition. when it rained my teacher was so excited she exclaimed, "i'm gonna sms my family and tell them it's raining!". lol. the rain later on got heavier and we all went to the windows to have a look at the condition on the road (our room has good feng shui!). and we saw... a "no entry" sign board floating in the middle of road! wakaka. then we looked somemore and we saw... a rat swimming near it! so amusing lah! too bad no picture taken. lol. otherwise could have shown you the swimming rat. ;p;p

anyways, i went for sectionals yesterday. mr reggie was doing the who-can-hold-this-note-the-longest competition again. we did three rounds. first round i won!! then second round, it was a final match between erica and i. then i glanced at her and saw her turning to look at me. just that one glance... ruined my victory. because when i saw her i burst out laughing! you would too! if you see a trombone (not the person) suddenly moving towards you! then third round also i lost to her because i didn't learn my lesson and glanced at her again. piak...

i'm currently reading anthony horowitz's the falcon maltesar which i borrowed from maxine. speaking of this, MAXINE!!!! I HAVE COMMITTED A CRIME!!!!! A TOTAL INJUSTICE!!!!! I HAVE..... EATEN WHILE READING YOUR BOOK!!!!! ONCE!!! OH... WHAT A CRIMINAL I AM....

lol. juz now so lawak. they were having formation practice again so as usual lah, some of the band members will have their sectionals. i was just coming out from the staff room when i heard jalur gemilang. since the band is practising jalur gemilang and 31 august at the moment, i thought, wow! the band sounds good leh! then i hear some more and.... peng. stupiak. it was the radio booming up in the hall. so sia soi! i went in the band room and was like, "know wat!? *tells story*" and guess wat...? they all laughed. hai... then i went back to the class tell michelle, she also laugh. hai... so sia soi ki in the end.

during recess, i was walking out of the staffroom AGAIN (this was before the aforementioned incident) when i saw the band room door open. i peeped in and saw prisilla sitting there, shoes off, pieces around her with ms tan standing there. oh. she was arranging her pieces. then i so kind i offer her help lor. then i went in and first time we talked to ms tan for so long. ms tan so funny leh! she say she duno how to baca the taugehs. and started telling us about her last time learning piano experience. she said she cabut when she was about to sit for her grade one. haha. :p then after that amanda also come join us. when ms tan left, she and lysandra go and throw prisilla's shoes away coz they say how can simply take off shoes in air cond room wan! so hilarious! wakaka.

it's actually kinda fun the silly things we do each and every day. some times it marvels us when the seniors, who sometimes look really scary, suddenly loosen up and play with the juniors. then we all see this happy moment. hehe. if you join something like band or rc then you'll know lah. XD

anyways, the prefects went home early today for their night. some of them wanted to do their hair... wah. so vain. kakaka. after they left (not like got anyone else in the class - the only prefect left in class during formation was michelle), i went to talk to maxine. so stupiak also leh! we played chess. i've never been good in chess. in fact, it's been a long time since i last touch a chess set. then hor, pn chua came so i go talk to her lor. then she ask me to do something so i called maxine lah. but then i managed to talk her out of doing that so i went back to maxine and i found out she had kept the chess set! i was like, "maxine ar!? why you keep!? you ruined my first game in a long time!!" and she said, "i thought you said bye maxine!". ai si... so peng! lol. then i give up playing and went to the band room and made erica teach me how to play canon in d - left hand part - on the piano.

that's all lah. so while the prefects were enjoying their whatever lobsters or butter prawns, i had kolo mee at a kopitiam with char sio and tu bak. wakakaka

Kuching fest

just went to kuching fest yesterday with amanda, marilyn, lysandra, erica, michelle, yet soong and yet mian to destress ourselves after exams. haha.

we spent like one hour trying to find tables! so susah man! some of us damn kek tiok one lady just sat down on the table that they found first. ahaz. then they meet the rest of us and started complaining. lol. some people are just so.... beh pai seh wan! kakaka... we had to split into groups. walau.... splitting also so hard have to group people with no handphones with people with handphones. lol. then while walking walking bertembung pulak with kolo mee. we shouted, "KOLO MEE!!" and she was like, "EXCUSE ME?!?!" and wanted to cekik us after that. wahahahaha...!!

after finding table, we still have to thicken our face to ask for chairs... +.+" then have to take turns go buy food. hai... some people hor... the "awhile" is "very very very very looooonnnngggg". lol. we end up buying all the fried food. hahaha. later sure no voice ki! those sitting for aural sure fail one!! hahaha... jkjk!! *choi!!*

michelle and i bought fried ice cream. stupid us bought odd numbers. how to share like dat? lol. had to break half in the end... since the ice cream was bought for awhile already so it's almost melting liao lah... and yet we still got time to pose with it gok...

Ain't gonna give up

went into the music room yesterday and suddenly, everyone started to wish me good luck. i was so blur. why suddenly bo su bo su go wish me good luck? then i thought, maybe have to go parade later and they wish me good luck. but then, cannot be leh. kinda impossible. then... when she walked in, everyone was like "got movie". shit man. did everyone like, know my section's gonna get it before my section even know?

so hurt. it's not like we didn't want to keep them in the files. i did ask and you said, "no need". i swear i heard you said that. and we already know we are weak, which is why we are now trying our best to improve. which is why we schedule extra morning practices. which is why we teach properly. which is why we go for practices during formation practices. which is we are now learning how to blast. which is why we go back to rubank to learn what we forgo to learn last time. which is why i didn't quit eventhough my shouder hurts like hell after every practice. we don't have a lot of people lah. we're just trying to make the best out of all that we have. trying to make a uniform sound. and know what. we're still gonna try.

anyway, on the bright side, exam's over! last paper, sejarah, was.... i don't know how to say. all i know was that during that whole one and a quarter hour, i had no mood. i only wanted to finish the paper quickly so i could jump up in joy and scream. then, i TRIED to check.... but ended up just staring at the paper and the paper stare back at me. haih. dunno how my results will be.... could be like the sun shining brightly on top.... or it could be like shit. *choi* luckily those kiasu or kepo people forgot bout me and didn't ask bout my sej marks. can't imagine if they asked and blurted out to me. if my marks ok.. then good lah... but if not ok, how leh? feel so depressed. like kimmy. she didn't want to know. and they blurted out. and she had just sat for the paper earlier on that same day. it's like a cruel punishment.

gonna go kuching fest tonight. muahaha.
