I'm continuing on with my resolution to use up the old. Now this one isn't actually that old but I just happened to have a few bits left of the January kit "You are My Happy". I took the papers and instead of trimming them down to fit what I wanted I took them as they were and maneuvered them around to work with the size they were. I am quite happy with the results. I then added some flowers, ribbons, bling, and a little doodling and voila a page I love and the last bits of the kit all used up. - Tracy

A Little Cakewalk
October Afternoon Cakewalk that is!
Hello and happy Wednesday!
Lisa here to share another layout I made using the wonderful October Afternoon Cakewalk Collection. I adore this line, but then again, I am a huge OA fan.
My daughter and I found this cake recipe on Pinterest and she decided she wanted it for her birthday sleepover. It was such a huge hit that we made again for Thanksgiving and took it to my family, they loved it too!

I created this layout about my word:
I used Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic collection on my layout.. I have a HUGE love affair with this line and can NOT seem to get enough of it..
I highlighted my word on a handmade banner:
I decided to add some stitching around the cloud:
And then fussy cut out some hexagons and added some misting:
So what is your One Little Word for 2013???
Make sure to stop by Tammi's store and purchase this line before it's gone..

A Few More Crop Days LEFT!
Have you been participating in our One Little Word crop? There are only a few more days left to get your entries in!
Here is one of the challenges for you: Have you taken any photos in the last 2 weeks? Then why not scrap about RIGHT NOW? What are the people in your photos "into" or doing at this moment in their lives? Here is a page I did about my two little ones and what they are doing right now.
I did a very simple design on this page, using just a few scraps of paper, and fussy cutting some elements from papers. I added a few pieces of washi tapes, and some arrows to add some movement.
You have until Sunday night, Jan. 27th to get your entries in!

A Little More Love
I wanted to share a few more projects I made with the February kit "So In Love With You". Now before, I said I was glad it was not too themed because I don't do themes well. This time I went for it and dug out my Valentines photos from last year to show how well it can also work with Valentines day. This is Autumn on her way to her school party at mothers day out.
I added in the Making Memories letters as I needed something large and bold to complete with all the bussiness of the page. I also added in the hearts in the center of the pinwheels to actually make the papers more themed.
Next I created a birthday card for a wonderful teacher I work with, who has made going back to work after 10 years as a stay at home mom a very easy transition.

So In Love With You Cards
Hello and Good Morning...
I'm sharing with you some cards I made with the So In Love With You kit from the My Scraps Store.... This is the perfect kit to create some Valentine's Day, LOVE cards to a special someone, or super girlie cards to send to your BFF, your mother, or your sister...
This first card is a simple Hi Card:
I fussy cut the flowers from the Authentique paper to show off the design on my card as an accent piece.
I then punched out circles and some butterflies to use. I used pop dots underneath the butterflies to give them some dimension and then added some of the pebbles onto the butterflies:
For my second card, I cut out several 1.5" strips of papers, and then used my border punches to add soft scallops:
Next I tied with with twine, and sprinkled the pebbles randomly through out the card:

Love Banner
Hello and Good Morning...
Today I am sharing with you a LOVE banner that I created with the So In Love With You kit. Each holiday season, I like to have some kind of banner to hang up in the house that is kinda festive. It feels good to change up the decor a bit, and get in the holiday spirit.
I used the kit and my Cricut to create this banner:
I first cut out the triangle bases for the banner, and then cut out triangles 1.5" smaller than the bases.
I used my Cricut to cut out the letters, the brackets, and the pink flower centers. I used my circle punch to cut out the white circle centers.
Next I punched out some butterflies with my MS butterfly punch, and added some pebbles onto them.
I free hand cut out some hearts, and added some doodling to each one. And added twine to tie the banner together...
There ya go, a fun Valentine's banner to add some "love" to your home.
I also added a Bella Blvd button and twine to each of the ends:
Make sure to share any projects that you create with Tammi's wonderful kits in the My Scraps Galley or upload them to the My Scraps facebook page...

Missy's Reveal with Happy Day
Hi, everyone! I hope you all are excited that's it's the weekend...yay! Before I get to my reveal, I want to remind you about our One Little Word Crop going on RIGHT NOW on our message boards! A whole slew of challenges went up yesterday, and they all center around single words. There are some really fun ideas over there to get you inspired, so hop on over there & join us!
I absolutely LOVE this month's kits that Tammi created! There were three different ones, and I received the Happy <3 Day kit. It's full of Fancy Pants & Echo Park goodness, and the colors are extremely yummy and right up my alley :)
This first page is devoted to my sweet husband :) I knew as soon as I saw all the "love" related papers that I had to do a page about us. The only thing I added from my stash was the little hearts (from a punch), the black mist, and the twine around th heart. I really love the Bo Bunny lace!
This page showcases photos that are just random...everyday happenings. Those are my favorite kinds of pictures! My little Paige wasn't walking very good yet at this point, so she liked to hang out on the end of the couch and watch tv. I used so many of the patterned papers and just layered them all behind the pictures. I added the heart stamps, the red mist, & the twine, but everything else is in the kit, including that super cute metal piece!
My final page is another Paige page...haha! She's our Valentine girl since she was born in February. She wore some bright red & pink that day, so these papers & colors went perfectly with her outfit! I did some stitching on this page, added some stamps & mist, and a few buttons. I love the bright pink background paper from Crate!
I hope this week's kit reveals have inspired you to purchase one! I promise they are awesome...you see what I've created, and I still have a LOT of product left. Go HERE to check it out in the store. Don't forget to check out our Crop going on this weekend...lots of fun!
Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful weekend!
Missy :)

Audrey's Reveal and the One Little Word Crop Starts TODAY!
Hello everyone! Audrey here to share my layouts with the lovely February kit called "One of a Kind". This kit is filled with LOTS of goodness from My Mind's Eye and Crate Paper, and more!!! You can see the kit HERE in the store.
Today happens to be the start of our ONE LITTLE WORD crop on the message board (so stop by here), so I was lucky enough to have my reveal fall during this crop! I used my kit to make pages based on words.
My first word is my personal OLW for the year: START.
I used some gesso and modeling paste on the background, and I wanted to add some more colors to this kit, so I sprayed with a greenish mist and used teal blue thread.
I fussy cut out the circles from the MME papers and scattered some letter stickers and some synonyms for the word "start" on some pieces of paper.
My next word is "WARM". I had intended to make the title something about Legwarmers, but I had to use a line from a Flashdance song instead. However I did use WARM COLORS on my page.
I cut the yellow patterned paper into up and down chevrons to try and show movement. I cut the main part of the title from the alphabet patterned paper.
Finally, because it's February, I had to make a card about love! :)

So In Love With You
It is almost the month of love and what a great way to get in a loving mood than with one of the lovely February kits. I got to play with the "So In Love With You" kit. While it does have a somewhat love theme the paper is not valentines related which I like because I don't do themed paper well.
My first page is from a visit to an arboretum we went to last Spring Break. My daughter was made for the camera as she loves to strike a pose.
I also made a birthday card for a very sweet little friend of Autumn's. I did add the fairy ornament that Wal-mart had on clearance after the holidays.
