After months on non-blogging, I realised I have to for now.
I'll be leaving for KL to work and it'll be for a month. I'm so gonna miss home, mum & dad and Gerard. I do wonder how'd my friends were when the studied overseas.. far far from home. It's a good thing that I'll be working in KL. It's only a bus/train trip away.
Anyhow, this space will be an avenue for me to keep people back home posted of the latest occurances while I'm there. Firstly, I don't know what to expect at work. What we thought and heard has NOT been any good. So yeah.. *prays hard and cross fingers* And I'll get to upload pics of me there sight seeing during the weekends. But I would reckon most of the time spent will be on food.. YUMM! Well that's besides the point.
Hopefully I'll have the time to do such stuff online.. Otherwise see you back home on 7 Dec!

How time flies in June.
Just came back from KL. Spent the whole weekend in KL playing netball. Woot! That was fun! Playing against M'sians. If you are wondering, I went for some inter-region games which mainly involved the M'sian states, Brunei and S'pore; in relation to the bank. Tho we didn't manage to bring home any medals, we had a good fight. Fourth placing isn't that bad I guess. It was a good thing that we went up to KL a day earlier. And guess what?? We had a long 8-hour train ride. Zzzz.. How exciting can that be. Well, that's that. KL itself was fun. Lots of walking and hardly bought anything. Food was fantastic. More like nostalgic. We had A&W root beer float!! Baskin Robins ice cream!! Yumm.. but we missed Dunkin Donuts. But hey what's Dunkin Donuts compared to donut factory at Raffles City?! Also managed to get some tix to the skybridge at Petronas twin tower. Nice view but ok lah. Wasn't that wow-ed. Zouk wasn't that bad either. I was so relived to come about that Zouk doesn't not play house music on Thursday nites. Phew..!

Slightly tanned from playing netball in the sun (umm I think slightly is an understatement) but I'm happy with the short trip sponsored by the bank. Hee hee..

Another occasion to celebrate!!! I passed my driving test at first attempt!! Woo hoo!!! Yeah!!! It was totally unexpected. I'm so happy now I'm lost for words...

2 Weddings and a Birthday
This week I am broke. Pls refer to title, self explanatory. To add to that, no... it's not a malay wedding.
I realised in Chinese culture and especially on speacial occasions, the guests love and really enjoy to get the 'star of the event' drunk. Be it birthdays or weddings or umm I'm not too sure what else. Drink all you may but it's really gross when they puke their guts out. Urgh! Well for the last wedding that I've just attended, it wasn't the groom who became the Merlion but other people!! Hmm.. Don't you feel very sick and lousy at the end of it?? Oh prolly it'll be next day when they'll be hungover.
Well here's some decent photos.. notthing disgusting.. :) Btw, the couple look sooo good!! So happy for them.
Some girls just wanna have fun!
Bride & Me
Next comes my bornday!! Hmmm.. yes it is true. Time passes by very quickly after you have turned 21. Yes I am now 21 + 1. Though it is another year with a simple celebration, it was really nice to have people who remembers your birthday. Thank you to Mum, Aunty Ja, Suzanna, Jiamin, Maslin, Emelin, Poops, Fake minah, Riko and Mandy - yes you've got the date right now. Hehe.. Thanks all for the nice lil wonderful thots. My birthday wouldn't feel special without your birthday greetings.
Promoting for good Turkish food at Alaturka at Arab Street. Yummy......

'He's here.. The Phantom of the Opera..'
All I can say is.. not too bad. Everything was good except the fact that we had lousy seats right at the upper most circle and had to bend over the railing to have a good view. That cost us $92 per person. OMG! I think having a good seat will affect how much you enjoy the show. Honestly, I wasn't as wow-ed compared to the malay musical, Puteri Gunung Ledang. The choreography wasn't as spectacular, a lil draggy I must say. And being so far on top doesn't help either. Nonethelss, it was still a show worthwhile watching and blowing my money on. Haha.
Oh.. I just started my night shift!! It was not as scary as some might have described it to be. But there was a moment when I was all alone in the office, I thot I heard things. Lucky thing it was only for a short few minutes. I can't imagine working alone. The plus point is, I get to have 3 off days after that!! Whopee! How nice it is to stay at home when everyone else is working hard in the office.
Anyhow I guess I'd like to make myself clear. We have just booked the venue for the wedding banquet. That's all. Oh and the make up artist too. In short, we are getting around our plans to materialize the wedding. It's exciting!!!! And I know some of you are feeling the same way too! But I am trying to compose myself. Heh. Since it's still slightly less than 1.5 years to go. To some of you friends who thought I was engaged; no I am not. Not officially tho. Anyways there will be no official engagement party. But how go people get engaged in the first place?? According to Gerard, when a couple is planning to get married and settle down, they are engaged. Does that mean I'm engaged??
