Shoe Love
I love my Asics Kayano - 15! I was lucky enough to receive them as a Christmas gift from my dad. After years of asking for running apparel my dad finally listened :) Anyways I hadn't asked for the 15's but my dad surprised me - what a surprise! And I love them. Not a whole lot has changed from the previous models but enough to notice the difference. I had the chance to wear them outside after I first received them in early January for a short 4 mile run and just took them for a 7 mile spin on the treadmill today (my longest run in a very long time) and wow. That's my official and very exciting review. However if you are an Asic shoe wearing/loving runner I think it may be enough of a review for ya ;)

I stumbled on your blog, and was glad to see your review of these shoes. I have been a fan of the Kayano 14 for quite a while (as the 4 pairs sit next to my treadmill!) I was hoping the K-15's would be good as well, because, well- I get all anxious when I have to switch running shoes. I am def. going to check them out.
What a great surprise to get shoes from your dad! Enjoy them and I hope that the weather is warm for running!
I'm so glad I caught this post! I've been wearing the 13's and desparately need a new pair. Was wondering how the 15's were and was a little nervous to online order without trying. Your review has given me the push to order! Can't wait to try them!

Don't know much about Asics. I'm a New Balance 992 fanatic myself. But if you're happy, I'm happy for ya. Good luck running in '09!
Yes, Asics are totally awesome. I use the 1323/1324 myself but I've been told that Kayanos are not that different. Congrats on your new shoes. Perfect timing for spring training...or just about!
Haha... everyone seems to be loving their Kayano's lately! I just bought a new pair of Nikes but one of these days I'll have to try the Asics - maybe as a backup pair or something :)
I love my Asics 2130s but they've discontinued them. I don't know what to do now. :(
