"This is the end...beautiful friend"

I took some more pictures of woody about 10 min ago and I am uploading them as well as a video (if it works). this will be the final post for Woody's life -unless I decide otherwise-

sorry -Ms. Moon- for not posting more, and more often, this is because of the never ending tests that I have to study for and projects that also seem to never cease. Woody is resembling the bushes/trees that are along the sidewalk of the streets that lead to our school. He has light green 'things' coming off of the original plant, it's very amusing to look at because of the positions - he has bunny-like ears and/or antlers .

ps. srry the vid is so bad - I made in dark room with a camera that was about to die any second.

The predator

recently Woody has been terrified and has been considering running away because there is a new predator in his territory now. This predator is...... my cat. who for some reason loves plants. and has recently discovered this lovely, newly born, Norway Spruce. Strangely Woody seems to be learning things from zipper (my cat - don't ask) like when I don't water him enough, I get the "No meat, No hubert" look. woody is now just as good as my cat, pretty sad. Of all the things he could have learned, he learned how to make me feel bad. I must thank my cat for this later.

Reaching the End

the time has almost come for this assignment to end. I am very glad to say that Woody is still alive and is doing well. He has grown 6 little buds all over. This is great news for me considering I don't remember the last time MY plant has lasted this long, although I'm pretty sure Woody's survival so far is because of his amazing strength and will to carry on, not on my green thumb. So "High five" to Woody, I'm so *tear* proud...

The trip to the great outdoors

woody is currently healthy, outside, and enjoying this wonderful weather. unlike me, who is still sick, and still coughing like I'm about to croak.

anyway I measured woody's height, he is now 6 1/2 inches. I have to check to see how much taller he is now. maybe it hasn't changed.

Woody's Move

Woody has moved into a bigger pot that I got today at home depo (my Fav store) with the intention of a Mother's day gift. Getting the gift took a while because I was distracted by all the awesome stuff, such as barbeques, lighting, tiles, stoves, washing machines, fridges, wood, doors, plants (orchids) etc. Sadly I didn't have time to look at the power tools.

It's a BOY!!

My tree's name is Woody (thanx to my friend - who has exceptional tree naming skills)
here come of Woody's stats:
Family: Norway Spruce
Greenary height: 15.5 cm
Greenary and Roots: 25 cm
Average length of needles: 1.6 cm

and if in the near distant future I get another tree, or even a plant, his/her name will be Buzz!!

Putting a Name to a Limb

Very soon I shall be getting a tree.
One that, I, the plant killer must keep alive for 1 month.

I am also trying to find a name for it, this may take some time...
