So where do I start. Lets just say that the past month and a half has been SO Crazy and extremely Hard. Between Gavin being Colicky and me being Sick and then just having to do deal with everything else that life has to give, I have not had any time to Blog—let alone even get on the Computer. Even if I wanted to Ava would never let me. She thinks the computer is hers. We taught her how to use it and how to play on sites like Barbie.com, Pbskids.org and Disney.com. She loves it and is SO good at it. We don't even have to help her anymore. It definitely has been nice that she has something to do when I can't entertain her.
Gavin is getting better but he still has his moments! We feel like he never stops Crying. As soon as he hit 2 weeks old he has been really hard, we have tried everything, we have tried every formula and came to the conclusion that he does the best on Soy Formula. He is on an antibiotic and we are so excited that we are actually starting to see a Happy Smiling Baby!
Ryan started his new job in January and so it's been a little stressful. Then he comes home to Gavin who is his worst from 5-11 pm. One night he came home he put Gavin to sleep, then he played with Ava for a bit and put her to sleep. Then Gavin woke up and so he had to feed him and keep him from crying. Then he put him back to sleep. Then he helped me set up the bed. I slept on the couch for a few weeks so I wouldn't wake up Gavin since he would only sleep in our bed the first few months. So even though he wasn't sick he did have a lot to do.

And there is me... I have been so sick! I have been to the Emergency Room 7 times in the past Month and a half. Every time I would eat I would get severe stomach pains that would last for So long—the only way to get them to stop was to get some strong pain meds in me (morphine is amazing). Lets just say me and the Morphine became very close. So I finally decided that eating was not worth all the pain I would have to endure. And remember I do have a 3 year old and a Newborn Baby to take care of. And when I don't eat I am just fine. So I would only eat to survive, for about two weeks I would only ate a Banana, a few Strawberries, and some Crackers each day. Then as the weeks went on I would add a few more things like Rice, Dry cereal, Juice. But the foods that would make me SO sick and send me straight to Emergency Room was anything Dairy or anything with Protein.
During all of this they had me do every test there is. X-Rays, ultra-sounds, MRI's, Colonoscopy, endoscope, Capsule test (where I had to swallow a camera pill) and I had to do a Gastro emptying study to see how long it takes to digest my food. And after all that I finally got some results, well kind of... some of the things they found—I have a severe case of Gastritis, my stomach doesn't digest food as fast as it should. My Doctor told me that this is probably going to happen every time I have a Child. (After I had Ava I had the same symptoms and they thought it was my Gallbladder so they took it out). But now they are saying that it has to do with having a Baby and all the Hormone changes that goes along with it. So we could be done having kids or I am definitely waiting 5+ years so I can forget about all of this. (Ryan says we have to wait until we can afford a Nanny because he can't do it again either).
So its been 6 weeks sense I had my first attack and had my First ER visit. And I am still slowly getting better. I still get sick when I eat Dairy or Protein. So I just stick to a very bland diet, cause I would rather not eat then be sick.
Thank you to everyone that helped us out SO much. Gavin stayed at Mimi's and Papa's for 3 days. We missed him but we were losing our minds and had to have a break. My parents also took turns and everyone helped us so much. We are so very Grateful.
We have done a lot of Fun stuff during all this, check it out...
