Rollerblader to the Stars

If you know Laney you know she is outside 24 hours a day.  Basketball, ripstick, pogo stick, soccer, water stuff, and now rollerblading.  Except week 2 of learning she fell.  And her wrist now has a buckle fracture.  Welcoming summer vacation, with a broken arm.

Last Day of School

I failed, I took no pictures of last day of school.  Laney left early to get her cast on.  Nick didn't go, and Whitney took some pictures but I have yet to see them. Just know that Whitney is going into 9th grade, Nick will be a senior....ahhhhh.  Laney will be in the 6th grade.  It will be the last year I have a kid in Elementary school.  Not quite sure how I feel about that.

Reading

Laney does not like to read at all.  She has to do all sorts of book reports.  WE usually save them til the last week.  Then we read like crazy, so here she is reading to Brandon. It is such a sweet picture.

National Jr Honor Society

Whitney takes her grade very, very seriously.  This year she decided to to do National Jr Honor
Society.  She has been invited but has not wanted to do it, but for 9th grade year she is doing it.

Lemonade Stand

Grace and Laney wanted to have a lemonade stand.  I was not super excited about it because I don't like that kind of stuff.  I usually stay and watch so no one takes them.  I watched as they earned 10 dollars, and the lemonade was "homemade".  With lemon juice water and sugar.  I heard it was sour.  Their Koolaid was made without the sugar, because they forgot.  They immediately went to all a dollar and spent it all.

11 years Old Today

I really can't believe my youngest is 11, I seriously don't understand how time is flying by.  This little girl loves outside.  She got a new ripstick and lots of other stuff.  She is a lover, always happy.  She has such a tender heart.  She is sad when other's are sad, she is our sunshine.  Her birthday was on Sunday, it makes it kind of difficult to celebrate.

Mother's Day

I love family pics... so we took this on Mother's day.  It made me happy.  I shared Mother's Day with Laney, because she turned 11!!

17 years young

Every year I can't believe how old he is.  He is turning into an amazing person.  I love this young man.  Who is very tall, and has a low voice.  I am lucky to call him son.  For his 17th birthday he hung out with his friends.  He did not want a party.  I did take doughnuts to his swim team practice.  He is an amazing young man, and he has taken his swimming to a new level.  I am so proud of him for his commitment, and getting up before the sun most mornings!! He didn't have an exciting birthday because he only got one present.  It was expensive though  iPhone 7 plus!
