13 on Friday the 13th!!

So...I have been a major slacker on the blog front lately! I'm back and ready to go, so here is the first of many events that have taken place recently!! Here he is in all of his glory!! It seems like yesterday that I took these pictures! What happened?!? I wanted to put a lot more pics on here of Ry in his younger years, but I have been given a limit...something about embarrassing him! I don't know...all I heard was blah, blah, blah!!
We always take the kids out for a back~to~school dinner the night before the first day of school. This was the night before Ry started kindergarten.

Just a boy and his machinery!! What would he do without this?!? Shorts?!? Those are nice and safe...what were we thinking?!?

Ryan and Brock...his best friend from Kindergarten! Yes we had a bird...yes we killed it on accident!! Not pet people!!

Me and scanning...we don't get along!! Pic of the kids in Chicago at the White Sox game! So fun!!

Again with the big boy toy!! Gotta love em!!

Ryan and Brock.

Finally the party! This is about 1/2 of the boys that came to the party. His whole baseball team came, but I was a slacker with the camera! Can you tell that I made Blake come over for the picture?!?haha! Ryan decided that it's not every day that a kid turns 13 on Friday the 13th...so he decided that he wanted to watch a scary movie for his birthday. They watched a movie, ate...played Rock Band, ate...played World Tour, ate!! Man...boys can eat!!!!

Once they polished off the pizzas........

They had a fair amount of root beer!!!! It was so fun, and I'm glad they all had a good time! Note to self for next time....more food and pop!! Happy 13th Ryno!!!!

Five Lucky People

...can win something made by me! Here's how it works: The first five people to leave me a comment get something made by me just for them. It can be anything I want, I get to choose. It can be silly or serious, edible or not, but don't plan on anything alive. There are a few rules involved (aren't there always?)

1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!

2- What I create will be just for you.

3- It will be done sometime this year (Don't expect grand things if it takes a long time. I'm just lazy!).

4- You have no clue what it's going to be. (The choice is mine! --insert evil laugh here--)

5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange and/or silly.

The catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they've posted on their blog win a hand made, super creative, possibly lovely, whatever in the world I decide! Be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!

Come for prayer!!!!

I'm sure you're wondering where I'm going with this one!!!! The other night Abbi was playing school....and these were her students. I just barely got rid of half the toys in this house by the way, and I'm thinking that I missed a few!! Anyway....we were all waiting for Abbi to come for prayer and she was taking her own sweet time. Of course the natural reaction of any nurturing mother is to get mad right?!? Well.....I thought she was ignoring us while she continued to teach her little school lesson to her very attentive pupils!! She finally came down the stairs after about 3 minutes and said "Sorry.....I had to teach them to kneel down"!! Um....I felt about an inch tall! How cute is that?!? She took all of that time to make sure every last baby...animal....Dora...ect...was kneeling down with the rest of us!! Good on ya Ab's....we must be doing something right?!? Either that or she just came that way!!
This picture is for entertainment purposes only!! Their faces were covered in white powder from a doughnut feeding frenzy....and they were laughing at who knows what!! They have their own kind of humor, they have since they were tiny! One of them says something that none of the rest of us really understand....and this is the result!! I wish that I had half of their zest for life!!!!

We have new neighbors!!!

Ok...this is crazy!!!! These deer have been here for so long that I'm thinking of naming them! They are living in my back yard underneath our big tree. I think one if them is hurt...so they have taken up residence for a while. As far as I'm concerned they can stay...I love watching them. The first picture is in my neighbors yard about 30 feet away from where we were standing...and the rest of them are in my yard! Anyway...just though I'd share being as how usually when we see a deer, it's dead and bloated off to the side of the road!! I prefer them this way!!
