it stands for Workers' Party Youth Wing. haha Bernard asked if i'm interested in running for Youth Wing's Election. i'm not sure if he's just plain curious or he's meaning it, but i thought about it seriously. I feel that i would like to have a go at it. but realistically, i've to consider my academic and CCA committments as well.
 
hopefully there'll be some '~revelations~' to aid me decide. HAHAHA =D but i've passion for it so i have the desire to go for it! haha budden, see how lor. needs opinions.... haha :DDD

Singapore Grand Prix (SGP) is back! we're still the only country to host the Night version of the Formula 1 race!

SGP had worked well with Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and cut down this year's road closures to 7 days. this is a great relief for nearby retailers as it meant more business and better atmosphere. but areas such as The Esplanade will still sustain losses. they lost $750,000 last year due to F1 alone! The Esplanade have already lost a long-term production due to the group's fixed touring schedule.

the Race Day weekend will be held from the 25th to the 27th of September (Friday to Saturday)

Saturday. have to wake up early in the morning for prayers. not muslim prayers (although i look like i will have it, but no). prayers for my deceased grandma. saturday's her 49th day, which is the 7 seventh day, as according to chinese customs. we have been going for prayers for her since the 1st seventh day. we'll be burning alot of stuffs for her, i'll be burning some stuffs for her too. i'll go shopping at some nearby incense store real soon. it will take up the whole morning and into the afternoon.

my mum got an LX bag for my grandma! haha

at 2pm, PolyForum 2008 Sub-Theme 3 peeps are gathering at ECP for 2 Wheels, 8 Wheels =D hopefully i'll be able to reach on time or earlier. hahah it's gonna be a fun fun day!!! =DDD

Tuesday. supposed to meet Keane at 11am but i overslept =X then ITE Central called me at 10.56am to tell me that i'm accepted!! =D FINALLY i have a school to study in... oh and i was damn late so i cabbed down and went lunch and L4d-ing with Keane! siala my hands damn itchy sia. we spam versus mode till crazy. wakaka damn fun! :DDDDDDDD went to Parklane as usual. cheap cheap and got chio bu at that LAN shop =X opps luckily not much pple visit my blog hahahha



CUSTOMER SERVICE.

highly-used word in Singapore. bad customer service... customer service star... go the extra mile for service... etc etc.

i would agree that quite a number of shops in Singapore have really good customer service. Starbucks is one of them, their services plus their drinks are worth its pricing.
Giordano is another one, excellent service, no stuck-up staff (i haven't met one yet anyway!).

another area i would want to say is the stall selling carrot cake at the 24hr coffeeshop (it's wad we call that particular coffeeshop). that staff there remembers my preferences and does it well. maybe it's due to the simplicity of the order, but he made the effort to remember regular customers' orders, which is wad makes me impressed. u can always try it, at the coffeeshop beside the Superbowl Bowling centre and arcade at Kovan.



2 letters is what it took to make me almost tear today.
Freshmen Orientation Workshop and Camp, it's THE EVENT to be involved in by most TP students. it's the most fun place to be at even though it may be tiring. it's where we make new friends, bond with old friends, and learn alot alot alot of things regarding yourself, others and the school itself, Temasek Polytechnic.

i visited my fellow Programmers for FO just now, stayed for a few mins and enjoyed my time =) i walked by Foodmin room and realised, wow, i noe quite alot of them and thought of my past experiences with them. i walked towards the mushroom (yes we have such a place, ask me to noe! HAHA) and felt so sad when i turned back and looked at TP. what's worse was that i met this Foodmin girl in red. she was walking in on the bridge and she just showed me the LINKIN PROG sign and said "PROGRAM!!". wahh damn sad =(

i can tell u that it is the best school i have ever been to in my whole 18 years of life. even better than my secondary 4 class of 4E4. my secondary 4 class was just as fun and bonded, but TP was much, much more than that.

noticed i used the word 'was'? i'm on the verge of being removed from my course of study. and i really miss TP. i can finally feel the feelings of Year 3s when they are leaving TP soon...

to those who are going to TP, YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE BEST SCHOOL! enjoy it, make full use of ur time in TP. it will be the BEST school... in the East! haha old joke.



i guess i'm both right and wrong on changing my blog name and URL.

i am making a very big change in my life as compared to me 2 years ago. but i miss TP alot. ALOT!

oh wells. RP just rejected me. so i applied for ITE without thinking! i chose Higher NITEC in Business Studies (Events Management) at ITE Bishan.

i can either go ITE (provided ITE accepts me) or TP October intake, which only has SELECTED Engineering and IIT courses. i sucks and IT and Engineering stuffs, especially MATHS =X

Choice of NS is possible, but with me being SO FAT. and i dowanna go into NS with only O Levels cert, start out lower dan one with diploma cert, it will also jeopardize my chances of transferring to other government agencies and promotion. plus i have quite a number of volunteering commitments. so NS isn't what i really want now.

hope fully everything turns out well for me =) yesterday and today was really a bad day for me, though i've friends who were with me, playing games to take my mind away and it did!! HAHA THANKS =D
