I'm here, in case anyone was wondering. Been busy all these days, taking too many tests, getting out of chinese even though i didn't know how to write 'chair', planning my schedule, getting it mangled by the lack of class openings, etc.
as of now, i have seen:
1. an ethiopian restaurant (way cool)
2. blues club (also pretty interesting, more fun to dance to live music, ja)
3. an outdoor movie (well okay 5 minutes of it)
4. battle royale (how can anyone like this show? *pointed looks*)
5. strange heater thingies which turn the bathroom into a toaster oven
6. bad food
7. good food
8. many vegans
and yea i'm gonna go capture the flag soon too.
ARRRrr. my house theme is pirates. how cool is that?

Check.
Nothing short of the divine.
Thanks to all those who made the above possible. =) And to all those who didn't make the fish pilgrimage this time around: make sure you go back and make lots of noise about it so i don't seem like the only fool to do this.

The Great Escapade
** Disclaimer **
The following is rated NC-13, i.e. Audiences No Closer than 13km from Singapore are advised against reading it.
** End Disclaimer
So starts the 2 week countdown, and with it, the final goodbyes to the sweet memories that i hold so dear to this lil' benevolent dictatorship that i call home. So i say goodbye to the movers and shakers, the nostalgic memories that i hold dear, the times i shared with my dearly beloved:
1. Or luat
2. Stingray
3. Red Ruby
4. Char Kway Teow
5. Bak Chor Mee
which were the 5 dishes sampled tonight, which all, unfortunately, sucked. Don't go to the rip-off makeshift hawker centre opposite centrepoint, what they tried to do was transplant all hte good hawker stalls from across the island. I unfortunately think that the only consistency they managed to capture is the spirit of Scalping Tourists which is the creed and ethos of the Newton hawker centre. (well okay it wasn't that bad but it was sorely below expectations)
The list of dear friends to say goodbye to:
1. RJ FIIIISH!
2. Jackson square bak chor mee
3. Chomp Chomp kway pie tee
4. Laksa (not particular about this one)
5. Victory Restaurant murtabak
6. NYDC Cheesecake/mudpie (hey, what if they don't have NYDC in chicago?)
7. Suntec Foodcourt Korean thingie (Auspicium Melioris Aevi)
and so on. *muses*
