Christmas Eve

Well, we are ready for Christmas! Despite everyone in the house including my mom, excluding my brother, Korey, having gone 12 rounds with the flu bug. We all seem to be either feeling much better-Maya, Casandra, Logan, me-or hanging in there-Jeff, and Kandy. Lucky for Korey he's managed to escape the little bugger entirely! The stockings are hung, the cookies are out the dinner is almost ready-for the people who feel like eating anything anyway. As we wait for Santa and his reindeer to arrive we reflect on the true meaning of Christmas when God loved the world SO MUCH that he gave us his only Son. How Blessed we really are and how much we Praise God for all he has provided for us. Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving

We are SO thankful! We had a very nice Thanksgiving. We have so much and feel blessed. Maya and Logan played together, Logan took a long nap, we went for a walk around the neighborhood, and enjoyed being together. I prepared most of the food ahead of time so all we really had to do in that department was cook our little 10 lb. turkey and warm everything else. We had a grand feast, which included mashed potatoes with mushrooms, sweet potato casserole, broccoli-rice-cheese dish, cranberry mousse, Caribbean Turkey, and The Best Ever Pumpkin Pie. It was all yummy! Logan loved it all. Maya tried it all and then ate pretzels and a chocolate crinkle cookie.
