God's Hand.

Done with training (with meals provided!). Going on fieldwork tomorrow onwards. I believe His hand's upon me, and His favour is an essence. I'm falling in love with You more and more, all over again.

---

Date: 27th March 2009 (Friday)

Venue: Ryan's residential

Being the most happening cell group, things go awesome from worship right till prayer. No doubt, God's presence was so evident again. When we asked for prayer request, I'm so proud to share that it was Alvina and Adeline's first time for cell group and but they were amongst the first to request for prayer.

Adeline's friend, 14 years old got scheduled for an operation the next morning to remove a huge brain tumour which is already pressing on her vision nerves. The tumour was suspected to be very near her spinal cord and with just a slight mistake/touch, she might be gone forever. Even the surgeon didn't have the confidence in removing it and that she might not make it. So everyone has to be prepared for the worst.

That night, we proclaimed divine healing power and that God will hold the surgeon's hand as he performs the surgery and that His wisdom will be upon the surgeon so that he knows what to do and all. We also prayed for peace to be with her family member.

The chances of survival might be very slim but impossibilities for man are possibilities for God.

The next day, Adeline got so excited and she told me that the surgery was a success and she's safe from the critical moment. I was so happy that I went around telling this good news to all my cell members. Though she's still in the ICU, I believe the peace of God would be with her.

This is not just another co-incidence but its another miracle. He never fail to amaze me. God is always so good la!

A Good Head-Start

Quite a number of you asked me bout my work. Thank you so much for the showed care (at least I know who's with me). Appreciate it alot!

This new phase has been taking me in quite well. Just started two days and haven't really done alot. Never would I expect that this position is not that hard after all (maybe not just yet) but I believe challenges would thrill our lives further, adding in some excitement whilst increasing the adrenaline flow right? Which is a good thing.

So far it's all cool. And I'm liking it :)

On the first day itself, I was to attend a meeting with the Operation Manager of my principle company (the word 'attend meeting' sounds so.......... right? Ahh nevermind). Then lunch with my new friendly colleague (Chris) and we dropped by 2 clinics just to say hello to the doctors and introduced ourselves. And we called it a day! So nice right?

The second day (today), I had to attend a meeting in Sunway (Apex, behind 3K). My boss actually text-ed me the night before if I wanna join her for breakfast before the meeting. I told her what I wanted to eat (pan mee @ 3k there) IF I could wake up earlier and make it there on time. She said no problem and guess what? Breakfast was on her! Blessings! (Note: Btw, she smokes! whoah)

We were done with the meeting quite early and I was asked to decide on where to lunch. Being undecided and with my ajak-ajak ayam attitude (yes, xuewen, yet again!), I unintentionally asked the manager from the Nestle team (who happened to stand next to me when boss made me decide) if she wants to join us for lunch and guess what? She took it seriously and came with us! Haha! So we ended up in Che Go, a korean restaurant in Pyramid.

The food's not bad I'd say and they have this lunch promotion thingy. Each set costs just RM16.90+ which includes a maincourse, 2 side dishes, fruits and ginseng/green tea. Not bad right?

The food was good. The fellowship was good.

And guess who paid the bill?

Yeah, the manager from the Nestle team who I ajak-ajak-ed ayam at! omgosh.

After 17 years..

... of non-stop education (from kindergarten to uni), I'll be starting a new phase of my life tomorrow. A brand new chapter.

Shea asked if I was nervous or excited. Neither.

I don't know what's ahead of me or how my future's gonna be but I believe my future's decided and He's the one holding my future! I believe I'll have to face alot of crosspaths as I walk but He'll be with me at all time. Whenever I fall, He'll pick me up; hold my hands and walk with me.

Just like the night before my first day of internship, I believe His very favour is with me :)

A Brand New Direction.

If you've been following my blog entries like this one, I've mentioned before that we as Christ's ambassadors are all recession-proof!

By God's grace and favour, I've gotten a job offer in one of the MNCs this morning, a foreign-based pharmaceutical company.

---

That time, I was so unprepared for the interview since I thought it was just another just-for-experience interview but nope. God actually said "this is the company" very clearly right after the interview. He spoke!

I also remember very vividly my aimlessness after SPM and after SAM on what course should I pursue next. And I heard Him speaking to me very clearly as well on what should I do next (like what course and where). Its as if the burden in my heart was lifted while peace and joy would fill it once He speaks. Because I know that His hands will be on it and His plans are to prosper us always.

I really don't know what else to say when God prepared everything ahead. I can only stand in awe. He's like so awesome, all I need to do is to trust and obey; believe and receive.

My final exam will be on Feb 10th and I'll be starting work on Feb 16th. How soon eh? But I really wanna thank God for His provision and to testify His goodness and faithfulness in my life.

Ain't writing all these to brag here but I secretly hope that you'll grasp this same faith and know that if Jesus can bless Mun Khea like this, He can too do the same to you when you allow Him to :)

Dua Jam Lehh.

By God's grace and favour, after 2 weeks of application I've already attended 3 interviews and rejected 3 interviews. I really thank God for these opportunities.

Boehringer Ingelheim

Today, I was interviewed for 2 hours in this company! Yes, two hours! Other than my interview with Dr Emily, I don't think anyone else will schedule such a long interview (oh how I miss that interview session with her).

I was first interviewed by the person who I was arranged to be interviewed by (he looks like Kenny Sia! I was so tempted to take out my phone to snap his picture but its quite inappropriate right? So I didn't la) for around 45 minutes and when I'm done, he asked me to wait for a while and he left that meeting room.

Then, he came back and I was asked to meet a higher ranking manager in his office before I proceed to be interviewed again by that higher ranking guy. As scary as it may sound, I thank God that this guy's very friendly and he taught me alot as he shared. He took slightly more than an hour with me before letting me go. I reckon this is a very good experience and I learned alot over here. I really really thank God for this opportunity.

Like said, I'm not waiting to be employed right now; I'm still studying. I just want the experience and of course all the better if they can wait till around March and I'll call it a blessing if they don't mind taking me in.

We're All Recession-Proof!

"As beloved of God, we're all recession-proof"

I like how Pastor Kenneth and Pastor Prince aptly put these; very true indeed!

Just two nights back, I was gatal la, so I went and filled up my details into Jobstreet.com just for fun. I don't even have a resume; all I did was just filling up whatever columns they have there like my personal details, education background, co-curriculum and whatnot. And guess what, the very following morning itself (which was yesterday) companies started calling me up regarding my application.

I told them very frankly that I could not start working yet as I'm still studying. Today another company called me up to arrange an interview with them this coming Monday. I'm not expecting to get the job but I'm quite thrilled bout the interview for the experience sake. So fun la!

As you all know, its a real bad timing to graduate now. Though Asian countries are not very much affected by this, but I bet most companies would try not to take in too many workers. In fact, if they could they'd try to lessen the amount of employees.

But our God is the Jehovah Jireh! He's our source of provision, our provider! Imagine, my expected salary stated in my online resume isn't very low but yet employers are still considering it. So readers, let not be discouraged by the surrounding but be encouraged that He's with us at all times and He's our source of provision! Amen? =)

EDIT: 2 interviews on Monday. Another pharmaceutical company just called up. Gonna be a great time. All glory to Jesus!
