hi ppl. some of you will be in redang now (hope you're having fun there). to those of you heading to nus... see you there(so much for pledging never to set my foot on singaporean soil again...only the education bit had bothered me). my new hobby is peeling mangoes (when they're in season or if you own parents who manage to get hold of the fruit without regard to fruit seasons). read of the pig on the net but my adventure of getting back online was not as dramatic! when dealing with an over-slippery mango, i checked the net on mango peeling (isn't it a thing that only eva would do?). i tried typing these titles, with not quite the effect i hoped for. 'mango peeling for dummies' 'mango peeling, DIY' (response, did you want 'mango peeling DRY?') 'mango peeling, do it yourself (ah the answer to my woes. the fruit of my labour -disgustingly lame joke totally intended- ? a perfectly peeled mango) 'how to peel a mango perfectly?' (to check if i was being too specific, i tried the next one) 'how to peel a mango' (gave good results) ahahaha... i am now i pretty good mango-peeler. no more mango-tango and i'm back on the net in a more than 'friendster and email' form. oooh yeah, i'm eva by the way

hey all! Date for trip is 26th june [monday] , so since its a 3 day 2 night thing, that'll be till wednesday. Right, so thats the plan for now. what happened to our tag board? Anyway, about the trip, i am leaning toward.. Redang Island! the hotels in mind are:- Redang Pelangi Beach Resort Redang Bay Resort Redang Beach Resort for other islands www.cuti.com.my perhentian or lang tengah maybe? Kapas? yeah. We basically want the 3d/2n thing right? plus snorkelling. Mostly will have to rent equiptment. And the bus ride shd be bout Rm60 roundtrip to Kuala terengganu. We would be opting for twin rooms, during weekend i think. cos 15th is a thursday but strenches onto the weekend. Okay, so take a look. select a favourite. Mine is the Pelangi one tho we going to have to bring own toileteries, will be 320/360 depending weekday or weekend. Also state date prefered. i opt for weekdays, either before or after the 17th/18th weekend. If islang thing fails, theres always a weekend up in genting. Accomodation comes for free with the prescence of mr & mrs Lee. Bus ride up wil be 7.80 per trip while cable car rides are 4.00 per trip, theme park ticket bout 30++. Comment!

Honey, l Should've Shrunk The Kids!

Is it true, that as you get older, time moves faster? I think the reason is that as we get older we’re far too occupied with “adult-stuff” to sit down and watch the clock. As such, waking up and going back to bed nowadays seem like they’re only minutes apart. Today is June 8th 2006. What a long ride since February 1985. 21 years, 3 months, 17 days, 10 hours, 19 minutes and 47 seconds after I exploded into this place, I’m sitting here, in front of my monitor posting on mugtab. Why suddenly this nostalgic entry? Maybe cause www.blogspot.com took way too long to appear on-screen that I decided to browse through some photographs in my hard drive. More specifically, ASEAN 2004 to ASEAN 2005 photos. WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE!! I’m not sure whether it was Singapore or hostel life or sucky food or bad colleges, but we all grew up. If you don’t believe me just take a look at Feeding Time 2 years back (Look under the “ZOO” folder---an inauspicious day when we lost our precious Andrew and was left with Mr.F.T ) and Feeding Time 12 months back (Mr.F.T is now Mr.F.I.T) WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE!! He even changed his name to GORI. (No comment on that one……) And just like a book, as the edges of the cover gets bent, folded and ruffled, the pages on the inside gets spotted yellow just the same. So we all change; inside-out. And yet, like that great novel that you couldn’t put down 3 years ago, reading that same old book again beats opening a fresh new one any day. We come across new details that we've missed before! I get a similar feeling whenever I meet old buddies. I smile when I notice the teeny-weeny details; the teeny-weeny changes that come with time and yet I smile even more when I realised that we’re all still quite the same. So I wonder. I wonder what we’ll all be like; 21 years, 3 months, 17 days, 10 hours, 19 minutes and 47 seconds down the road……..
