Encouraging Words of the Day:
Hexies everywhere! I'm linking up with Anthea's "Piecing Yourself Together."
I finally feel like I'm getting close to finishing my "Rocksprings Wallhanging." Rocksprings is where our llittle ranch is located. My sister Ida paper-pieced a replica of our ranch house and I've been working on hexies to surround it. The hexies have been hand-sewn together and all I need to do now is fit the ranch house into the hole in the middle and put the wallhanging together in preparation for quilting.
Then, in my spare time, usually while watching tv, I continue to sew my little 1/2-inch hexies together.
The photo looks like a lot but it's barely a piece about 15 inches by 20 inches since the hexie flloweers are so small.
And finally, these two hexie flowers are off to my swap partner in the "Inchy Hexagon Flower Swap." She requested pink and/or purple flowers with a white or beige center.
That is all.
