Please take note that 27th august, this Saturday's band practise will be cancelled.

The alumni band will be having concert at SOTA, 7:30pm, next Tuesday(30th August). If possible, encourage your friends and relatives to go for it and support the alumni band AND it is COMPULSORY for all band members to buy at least one ticket. We will be recording down your name to know who bought and who didn't. So please bring $12 tomorrow to pay for the ticket, at the ticket booth set up in the canteen during your respective recess. Band Practice tomorrow on 1 July

Dear all,

Since school is expected to end at 12.15pm tomorrow, band practice shall start at 1pm. Please take your lunch before coming to band room. Practice will end as usual at 6.30pm. Also note that CL Oral is taking place from 2pm onwards so there should NOT be sectionals conducted anywhere near the Shaw Hall.

URGENT!! Information on tomorrow's Pri Sch Performance

Please report to Band Room tomorrow morning at 6.30am SHARP!

Mr Chiang will be around to run through the 2 SYF pieces and we will move down to Primary School at 7.10am.

Attire: RED Band T Shirt and PE Shorts (Bring your PE singlet along for X-country)

(Sec 1 players will receive their Red and Blue band T shirts tomorrow)

Shoes: You may wear your sports/running shoes.

2. MSSB will be performing for the Primary School section this coming Friday (before Cross country). Please take note of that.

To all sec 1(those involved in mayday),sec 2 and sec 3 band members: Please be reminded that you are supposed to wear uniform,lower sec in white short pants,upper sec in white long pants, and report to band room by 9.20am SHARP! Since practice will be starting later than usual, I don't want to see any late comers or the whole band will be punished! All Sls please help to ensure that.Thank you.

The MAY DAY Attire will be as follows:

6. White socks

So it should look like this for May Day Performance:

23rd April 2011 Practice

All MSSB members,

Please take note you will need to wear & bring the following items for tomorrow's practice

Sec 2s - 4s (inclusive of those Sec 1s that involved in the MAY DAY performance)
1. PE Singlet
2. PE Shorts
3. Red Band Tee
4. Sneakers (if you don't have just wear some other shoe is that easier for you to move around)
5. Water Bottle
6. Towel (Optional)

Everyone is to reach band room by 7:50 AM and we will start taking attendance at 8:00 AM SHARP!

20th April 2011 Practice

NOTIFICATION FOR TOMORROW'S PRACTICE:
Sec 4s will report to Band room from 2 to 3pm then go to stadium for 2.4km run.

Sec 3s will attend the full session of Band from 2 to 6.30pm and take 2.4km run next Tuesday with the Lower Sec students.

Sec 1 and 2s as per normal practice.

Singapore Youth Festival 2011

On 5th April 2011, Maris Stella Symphonic Band participated in the Singapore Youth Festival 2011 and achieved the Gold with Honours award.

We would like to thank everyone who has helped MSSB in one way or another for this great achievement. We would continue to excel in music playing and strive for excellence.

We will be releasing our SYF recording soon. For those who are interested, please refer back in a short while.

Bandits, Happy Chinese New Year! Welcome back to band again. I hope you guys have been practicing your SYF pieces over the long holiday.
