Good Job for SYF 2010 Marching Assessment!
To all MSSB Members,
YOU ALL SERIOUSLY ROCKED THE WHOLE STADIUM ON THAT DAY!!
Heard all those screams and cheers when all of you danced "Sorry Sorry" in the arena? Heard all those thunderous clapping from the audience after you all have finished the formation?
YOU ALL HAVE DONE IT!
These past 1 month of DREADFUL, SUN BURNING & TIRING practices have paid off! You all have just proved to yourself, the school and everyone in the Stadium that you all ROCK THE HOUSE!!
I am very happy that you all are very proud of your own performance in the stadium.
I would like to thank a few group of ppl here for making our DISTINCTION possible!!
Mr Joseph Lim: Thank you for agreeing and believing in MSSB for this Outdoor Assessment. Without your agreement we won't know how much more MSSB can go.
Mr Wu, Mr Tan, Ms Menon, Mdm Phoo: Thank you for staying with the band till such late hours and of course getting scolding from numerous ppl when borrowing stuffs or trying to get hall for practice.
Mr Adrian Chiang: It is difficult to juggle between schools, Thank you for putting so much time and effort in getting MSSB to this state! Not to forget typing out notes by notes for the score before passing to me for arrangement. Thanks!! THAT'S THE HARDEST JOB!!
Hafis: Thank you for coaching Joshua and the band. Without you, Joshua will not be able to deliver such an impressive performance.
Khaiboon + Nicholas + The rest of the gang: Thank you for correcting the band and gave numerous inputs throughout the period of training.
Daniel & Alan: Thank you for giving ideas and helping out with the music!!
Joshua: Thank you for dedicating your time for mace training. This period has been a hard time for you. Every single drop of sweats and pain worth it now. You have really impressed alot of us and the audience. You have proved to the whole stadium that Drum Major not only know how to do mace tricks but also know how to dance and play instrument well! Well Done!
Majors + committee members: Thank you for helping out in ensuring the discipline and admin of the band.
Sec 4s: Thank you for putting your effort and concentration in this formation even though you all have alot of tests, homework and revision to do. Thank you very much for all the dedication.
SLs: Thank you for organizing sectionals and work on your section. PS: Zhi Hui, I am impressed by you. Thank you for organizing so many sectionals for percussion section and allow me to RUIN percussion section's GOOD FRIDAY holiday! Thanks! =)
ALL THE BAND MEMBERS: Thank you for enduring the hot and burning sun with us. I know it is very painful under the scorching sun. At least now all your hard work paid off! Everyone loves your performance and you all have gotten yourself a distinction.
Remember that whatever you have done so far you are doing it for the band, for yourself. So Good job for everyone!
All the Alumni members: Thank you for giving your support to our very own MSSB. They have done us proud!
All those who have looked down on MSSB: Thank you for looking down on them and discouraging them with your comments. Without you people, MSSB members won't know how much more they worth than you. Without you people, we won't know how we can improve even more to make us better than you. So thank you guys for giving such comments to our band members.
the following 2, I bias abit. =)
Percussion: Well done for this formation. I know all our instruments are very heavy and you all still endure it throughout all these sessions. SO KUDOS FOR YOU ALL! Especially Jian Wen and Qian jie! I have received comments from a few people that the percussion is very good, good drummers and cymbalists. Very synchronized actions and playing. There is one person that is very impressed with our cymbalists though. haha. =). One more thing, thank you for coming back for sectionals so often and of course letting me RUIN your GOOD FRIDAY.
DE Family: DE Family the one big happy family!! =) haha. Good job for EUBA! Your dance movements are nice and woohoo!! Thank you for doing so much movements even though you al have your HEAVY instruments on. =). I will post our DE Family pic soon! Jing Chie has posted one on fb.

Latest reminders
Hi guys.
Firstly, well done guys! That was a great performance yesterday. All our hard work has paid off. Although there were minor screw ups here and there, I personally think its the best so far! Great job!
A few things to take note.
There's practice on the 12th April, monday, at 2.30pm. At about 3.30 on the same day, there will be a final sports day rehearsal, so I would need the coorperation of all of you to be present and punctual for it.
There's also practice on 14th April, wednesday, at 2.30pm. Please also turn up for this one, as this is our final practice before sports day.
Please also help to spread the message to all other band members.
Thanks!
