Band practice Resumes!

Hi guys,
Its finally Wednesday again tomorrow and this means Band practice is resuming! Hope to see all tomorrow at 230pm in the band room. Dont be late! Try to come early if possible. Thanks! :)

hey guys.. just wanna inform u all bout somethin interesting..

the Band Director's Association of Singapore(BDAS) is gonna start a new band from scratch, called the National Youth Winds..

so they are holding auditions on the 23 and 24 may, after all out exams..

the first concert will be on 20 june, SCH and the conducter (for that concert only) is gonna be Jan Van Der Roost.. if u dunno him go check him out, he's quite famous.. his pieces also quite nice..

Criteria:

• 15 to 25 years old
• more than 3 years playin instrument
• choice piece (bring your own)
• sight reading piece (they provide)
• major scales up to 4 flat 4 sharps

This will be the number of musicians they taking in:

• 1 Picclo
• 4flutes
• 1eflat clare
• 11 b flat clare
• 1 alto clare
• 2 base clare (Darren haha)
• 2 oboes
• 2 bassons
• 4 alto sax
• 2 tenor sax
• 1 baritone sax
• 8 tpts
• 6 french horns'
• 4 tenor trombone
• 1 bass trombone
• 2 eupho(lol)
• 4 tuba
• 2 string bass
• 6 percussion
• 1 pianist
• total:65 ppl

This is just a small detail.. they are auditioning ppl from sec schools, poly, jc's, and uni's
