2007 and 27 Facts

As 2007 is about to wrap up and a new year is about to be introduced, and though how sh!tty is was i think i've learned some life challenging things. Things i've never experienced before that helped either shed the light on some aspects of myself, or on other people that further opened my eyes towards them.
To sum it all up:

  • I discovered how strong i am in some cases where i thought it would be impossible for me to overcome.
  • I also discovered that i can reach the bottom that easy if i was helpless.
  • I saw that the older you get, the more you see people seem to be ignorant.
  • Girls AND boys are gossiping in my work which really made me on alert!
  • Financial obligations are literally crap as hell.
  • My social obligations with my relatives lessened. Relatives became like strangers which really don't encourage you to stay in touch with!
  • In college, everyone is for himself!
  • For the first time, i'm becoming paranoid about my future.
  • I've developed a husband complex. Been hearing thousands of stories of husbands mistreating\divorcing\cheating\marrying on their wives which ruined the whole concept of marriage to me; faithfulness and loyalty!
  • I wanna meet the Backstreet Boys so badly. I'd do anything :'(
  • I've learned new English terms and vocabulary: Dismal, Dismay, Pretentious, Despicable, Gentry, Workhouse, Transcendental, Somnambulism, Bleak, Emancipation, Declaration of Independence, Spiteful, Coarse, Rustic, Chastity, Haughty, Social Vanity, God Providence, Chimney, Reaper, Albatross, Mariner, Soot, Anarchism, Leap, Clergy ..... and many others.
  • Patrick Dempsey is hot!!
  • Prison Break is the most brilliant idea of the year! I praise whoever is behind it.
  • Kevin's separation from the Backstreet Boys disappointed me.
  • My dad, in a sense, stopped giving me allowances since i have a salary of my own (!).
  • The world became scarier for me because of the horrendous amounts of crimes, disasters and political assassinations.
  • I had everything sorted out to buy the new iMac, but the bank declined the transaction, crap!
  • I received my student allowance [thanks to Hamza's prayers :P] but they deducted 600KD from it, don't ask why.
  • It seems that 2007 brought me back to the old oooold habit of biting my nails [that's a MUST quit, again].
  • My patience reached its zero-limit and my temper reached its over-limit!
  • You can never "try" to befriend your boss unless both of you had something to benefit the other with [financial, economical, material].
  • I became, in some cases, a reckless driver.
  • I'm having gruesome thoughts of the country, and specially the citizens financially going down.
  • The fashion here in 2007 became exceedingly horrible.
  • I've discovered that there's still a chance that i might not graduate in the summer.
  • This is the first time ever in my life for me to decorate my room with my own taste and money, therefore it's really special.
  • I finally became fond of Sony Ericsson.

AND HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL

Decoration Process: Phase 2

Phase 2:
Installing Wall Paper [Done].

The picture's quality sucks i know. Actually, i meant it to appear this way until the final look is reavled :P I know i know it's all Red! It's just i couldn't find what i was looking for so i settled with this one instead.

Phase 1:
Painting [Done].

Now Phase 3 is the trickiest because it has the power to either beautify my room or simply make it ugly! Phase 3 is:
Part 1: Installing frames.
Part 2: Rugs and Curtain.

Two way street

Sometimes i wish i was a phsychic for at least i would know what the hell were people thinking about.

Now let's skip for a start the whole moralistic - pure human being heart of oh i never expect anything from people, what matters is the feeling i have inside when i give bla bla bla. We all love too damn good to receive something from people, aren't we? so correct me if i'm wrong on this .......!

Now suppose you have a good friend of yours that you just loove giving her gifts even without a particular occasion. Even on her birthday, you can't wait just to give her this special gift; designer wallets, key chains, perfumes, teddy bears, outfit and anything that you might think will bedazzle her. Accordingly, you kinda expect something on your birthday too [who are we kidding! :D]. But .................... you don't!

You think to yourself that maybe she's saving it for another day, another week, another month, another year ....... wait a minute! a year? next thing you know you reached your following birthday! So you also kinda expect something but ................ zero! again!

Now i'm not being greedy and i'm not short handed on anything thank god, i'm independant and therefore can buy almost anything i want. But i can't help it, really. It's quite puzzling, and i kept wandering for some time just wondering what could possibly be the reason for her not to buy me a present? had i been cheap with my presents? but i kept on giving in every birthday of hers, excusing her also, maybe she didn't have enough money to buy me some in return. But several gift-less birthdays should force you into thinking, shouldn't it?

I'm not sad, angry, frustrated or even agitated. In fact, i'm puzzled! confused also. What could possibly be the reason? she's not cheap at all! And what makes this math equation more difficult is that she asks me beforehand what do i want for my birthday! Out of modesty i reply: slamtech, don't bother yourself etc ...!

Is that it? if i say nothing then that's it? :D
Seriously, i'm laughing while writing this. I hope i can have an answer for this weird habit other wise my head will explode at the enormous amount of thinking it operates.

2008 Moveis

Enjoy

Decoration Process: Phase 1

So

So what are those?
These are the colors that i have in mind for my Wall Paper (if found, hopefully).

~ The plan:
Paint the upper half of the wall with the above shade of Off White and the lower half will be a striped Wall Paper containing the previous colors; with the emphasis on Purple because it will be my main theme.

In the line between the paint and the wall paper i'll use purplish\silverish\goldish all mixed together wooden frame to give it a classy look.

Wish me luck with in my quest of looking for my desired wall paper ...... ('',)

Ps: i apologize for not commenting on my previous entry to your comments, the subject needs much elaboration. I think we all got each other points, right? :P

To do?

Today my brother and i had a small argument, which really steamed up my nerves for the way he thinks about the subject.

We were talking about some relative who got married at an early age; 19 approximately! I was strongly disapproving of his decision. I mean come on, he's 19 year old for gods sake! Why would he take upon his shoulders this enormous responsibly? But what shocked me the most is my brother's reply: If i had money now i would have dropped school and got married ..!

Is this how guys think at this time? getting married for a vague reason? I highly doubt those intentions are made solely for the purpose of providing for a family and having a child, rather than getting laid "bel 7alal".

This is absurd. Getting married was never about satisfying physical needs, and sadly, alot of guys think this way. Marriage is a sacred institution that requires huge amounts of work and sacrifice to make it work. Add to it the extra physical and mental effort that you have to add just to keep a stable and successful marriage.

Sadly, boys at this age, seem to forget about the consequences that accompany this decision. They seem to forget about the dowry, the apartment and and furniture. They seem to forget about providing for a wife. And given the fact that he got married at 19, it'll make more sense that the pride is no older than him and surly doesn't work! Hence, she requires lots of expenses out of necessity. They seem to forget about the upcoming baby, the expenses of its clothes and food. They seem to forget about the fact that a human being is about to be introduced to this world who needs extra attention day and night. They seem to forget about grocery, electricity and water bills, fuel expenses, car and house repairs. They seem to forget about the sleepless nights they'll have to endure over an argument or a child's cry.

I feel sorry for them and disgusted at the same time. Because, and this is how i see it, people who throw away their life at an early age [where life has just started] and get married and then ultimately get shocked by the reality of it, will eventually either cheat on their wives or get divorced! Because when the time came for them [early twenties] when they're supposed to have fun and be themselves and establish themselves, they found themselves married and changing diapers while their peers are having a wonderful and responsibility-free life! It's a logical mathematical outcome; a later reflex. In other words, "te6la3 el 7arra ba3dain"

Bottom line ....? 25 years old is the minimum for a guy to get married. Period.
What do you think?

Btw, i just found out today, that when a girl is ready to get married, she can state in the contract; as a condition, that she forbids her husband of getting married to another woman later on. If he happen somewhat to break this condition, his marriage is immediately annulled which ultimately signify, ADULTERY! So yeah, Islam IS fair to women. Ladies, set back and relax :P
But somehow, i find it scary that this fact is neglected and not mentioned! Is this what guys want? for girls to be oblivious so that the have the liberty of polygamy? Well not anymore "evil laugh" ....
Please check with your "marja3" for this Islamic rule.

Sony Ericsson

Ok, now it's official, Nokia is stupid and it's so out of my system.
Now i've been browsing through Sony Ericsson's website to look for a phone, and came down to those three:

Phone #1

Phone #2

Phone #3

I really really LOVED the first one. The design, the color are sooooo oh my god they're amazing! It's just excatly the way i want it. Sadly however, It has 1.3 megapixel camera, no 3G and no video recording! So basically, it's a cave phone in disguise. I don't why they don't combine beauty with technologoy. I so love this phone :(

The second one is neat and sleak. It simply looks georgoes. And did i meantion that it has a 3.2 megapixel camera and a touch-screen surface!!!! Utterly amzing. Wish they had another color though.

The third one is cute. I saw it in Eureka but unfortunately they ran out of red :/ And if i'm getting this one i want the red one. It has a 2 megapixel camera which puts it in the midst of those two.

A word for Ericsson: PUT BEAUTY AND TECHNOLOGY IN A FREAKING SINGLE PHONE.
Thank you
