Crashed at KTR 'cross race Day 1. Off camber uphill left. Rear wheel slid. Hand on hood bent back thumb and tore left thumb ligament in two. Still raced Day 2. Set off acute tendonitus in right elbow. Two useless hands for weeks.
Had surgery on November 16. Yes, 8 weeks after injury. Not smart. Talented surgeon.
Have to have this til mid January. The hand is already feeling claustrophobic. The pain is subsiding. That's good.
