i realised i have not blogged in a long while...i actually have a lot to say but lost the need, or rather, zest, to type everything and share it with whoever reads this blog...
in any case, to whoever is interested to know, i've been very busy with 4 things... my art exhibition, summer classes, UOB alliance proj, gourmet stuff...
1. art exhibition
am so thoroughly glad that some of my dearest friends/relatives have shown me such support in this initiative that i put my heart and soul into...some, like J&J have helped out overnight during e setup on super last minute notice...some, like B came to provide manual labour upon request...some, like aunt BC and M who provided assistance in the art workshops....my beloved bf who dropped by to pick me at night and to help over the weekend...my mom who sent the mailers to her friends and came by to buy a painting...and to those who help to source for volunteers or volunteered ur time (even if it's for comm hrs) i appreciate it so much...it really means a lot of have your support...not just to me but to all the beneficiaries....
and im glad to have made new friends and seen the other side of my existing friends that i dont know of...and to min if u ever read this, i think u've found a very dependable bf in CH...he's really a wonderful guy...glad to have him in my committee...
FYI...if u know nothing abt this said exhibition and would like to come by...it's at raffles city daily till 1 aug... =)
2. summer class
it's definitely more xiong than i expected...and suay-ness of suays...my grp is gonna be the first grp to do the case study...and it's due monday...wah piangz... it just HAD to clash with my exhibition lor..sadness...and now managing both is not so easy afterall... =(
thankfully paul is in my grp...im so grateful tt he's ard...cos i do think he is a good proj mate to work w...and we're gonna do settlers for our project!!! whee!!! am excited but also afraid tt things may not go as smoothly as planned...*keeping fingers crossed*
3. UOB proj
hai..i've not started on this...met up with academic prof once and with the client once...i think the client bit was disasterous for me personally...totally did not project the image i was hoping for...but fortunately, the client seemed to like htin and paul...so good for me...more on the proj later...
4. gourmet
publications is a mess..COMPLETE MESS...sigh...but im not handling it...and nobody seems to be proactive abt solving the problems faced...oh well...it's least of my worries at this point in time anyway...still have to plan fine dining dinner and contact sponsors... bah...i feel like forgetting abt gourmet for the time being and concentrating on what's important to me...
so well...tt's abt it...what's been keeping me busy for the last 2-3weeks..
oh...met up with pri sch classmates the other day...woooow....i was amazed at the attendance...darn cool la..10 yr anniversary ley...and i think 16 of us turned up.. whic,h in my opinion, is a very significant number considering we NEVER communicated before this...haha...and it was such fun too catching up and seeing how we've all grown up...and get this...based on our updates...there are
8 doctors-to-be (smart alecs)
6 in SMU
3 lawyers-to-be
2 in econs
1 in oxford, 1 in US, 1 in design, 1 in chem engine
0 in NTU (hahaha)
several scattered overseas, several disappeared off the face of the earth...and e rest i dunno...
cool stuff huh? =)

ITALIA!
finally after 64 matches and 32 teams...we have a winner! so maybe penalties are not really a good way to decide the fate of 2 teams, but towards the end i think italy was hanging on for dear life cos they were completely outrun by the french, who, to the credit, played a good game...
italy did win, but i lost my bet...cos they didnt finish the game within 90mins...
as much as i dislike the french, i felt a moment of sadness for zidane as he stupidly head-butt(ed) into Matarazzi...i thought only hot-headed roooooney and ronaldo would do such things...it's such a pitiful end to an illustrious career... and zidane didnt deserve it...
oh well..on the bright side, i found myself a new love after torres, casillas, shevchenko and ballack...and it comes in the form of gorgeous fabio cannavaro...

and i officially detest france...for eliminating 2 of my favourite teams...
(ok, with the exception of zizou, whom i find quite charming)
