birthday thank yous...
celebrated my 21st birthday 2 weeks ago...it was a blast...and definitely a very wonderful affair... to the extended family...i'm thankful for all your gifts and to my aunts who helped me decorate the place...and make it pretty n special...my parents...for the expense of making this party a spectacular affair...my uncle for helping me book the venue...and another uncle who spent most of the night at the BBQ pit...making sure we are all well fed...my sis...for the beautiful present she made me...hand-made gifts are the most touching.. =) okay...that's to family who will prob neva read this anyway...
friends...where shall i start...chin n jas...and my gourmet exco...it's good to have u all there... thou i must apologise that i didnt really spend much time with u guys (since i see u all most often)... my jc classmates...nana, nette, mama wu, ernest, ww, chiobu, lun...and of cos fav and sj...yes it was a real pleasant surprise to have u all there...and to those who didnt make it...thanks for the present too!! =) fyi..i am using the wallet u all gave me...hehe...
my fantabulous rg babes...june, jo, char, ting, shan...thank u for making time to come...it was great to see u all after our last reunion which was like...char's bday...(sorry dan i didnt make it to yours!) i love the very interesting story that came with the prezzie..hehe..thanks jo! =P and yes im so gonna go shop and pamper myself this dec!!!! =)
qing, min, zhen...my lovely darlings with whom i've shared so much of my life with...after 15 yrs of friendship it's juz to heart warming tt we can still be like we were in pri sch...all our secret "nicknames" that nobody else knows..hehe...and also the present that was exactly what i was looking for!!! and a surprise too cos i wasnt even expecting it!!! and the sleepover was fun too!!
last but not least...my darling....for ur help during the bday night...for staying over and getting along well with my 3 girlfriends, for the afternoon swim wif pussy n monkey n gerald..of cos the special lawry's dinner!!! the beef was an experience i'd say...but the lobster was so succulent and delicious!!! love you with all my heart!!

yes i shall use work to explain my absence fr this blog...thanks to some not-very-competent groupmates...i've been quite overloaded with work...yes...i've got quizzes, presentations, reports, assignments...and of cos the exams at the end of it all...this is wk 13..."dead week" when deadlines are due....so ya...till my next post....

yawn...im sleepy...and this is obviously, as usual, my own fault for sleeping late last night...
let's see...this is what i term "birthday week" so im slacking more than usual...ha..oh well, if being 21 is an excuse to relax during the horrid term den i wouldn mind turning 21...hahaha...
so well, some interesting news abt me for anyone interested to know...
1) i highlighted my hair and cut it short to shoulder length... =) yes yes...ru's hair is virgin hair no more...a bit sad...but yet im so in love with the new colour...i think it suits me...something not too flashy yet not too dull n boring... *grinz*
2) i went for 2 lessons of Bachatta...i think it's a social latin dance...haha...it was fun!!! though 3/4 of my dance class consists of middle aged folks...and i think they really bring out the fun essence of the dance...u shd really see them jiggle to the latino music...hurhur...
3) went shopping yesterday but couldn find anything to buy for my birthday...sob sob...well actually i did, but then i didn manage to buy it cos the bloody shop closed just as i finally decided on wanting to make the purchase...so now i've got nothing to wear on my bday...whine...
4) i wanna go paint my nails...shall do so today after class... =)
5) in the midst of conducting my CB interviews...i need one more female interviewee....anyone wants to volunteer???? special thanks to dear, pat, lek and jt for helping me out thus far...
so ya...tt's what's been going on in ru's life...yawn...back to class...
