been kinda busy at work...i guess this is the time where the pple in the office realise they have only 1.5 wks left to utilise the cheap labour we interns provide...i groan everytime i receive an email with instructions for more work... but i guess its all in the attitude of the person asking...cos to be honest, i'd rather be busy than have nothing to do...so i dun mind work...as long as the person asks NICELY...

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:

Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:

You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

had a nice long weekend in a resort in JB...great bonding time with the family and i had a chance to go for SPA!!! balinese massage and a facial...OOOHHHH...it felt great though i thought service could have been improved for the amt we were paying...

hrm...time spent with mom n dad revealed a few things...

1) they both think im arrogant...and that a career in mktg is probably better for me than a career in HR... *sighs* it's a bit sad to hear such harsh words fr my own parents...n it definitely hurts...but i guess after making them explain my "arrogance" i'd have to admit tt to a certain extent they are right..they can see a side of me which i do not realise...

all right all right...i'd go so far as to say tt i am a person with a lot of pride...sometimes it makes me a tid bit haughty and somewhat elitist...i think highly of my own capabilities (which i dont feel it's wrong to do so...i mean y cant i be proud of myself, of my own achievements?) so much so tt i do not show as much compassion or sympathy for those who are less fortunate than myself...make sense? UGH...i dunno how to formulate my thoughts la...but yeah...bottom line is tt my parents dont see me as a person who can connect and fight for the welfare of the blue collar workers...which a HR personnel must learn to do...

2) regardless of whatever criticisms they have of me...they are proud of me nonetheless for all that i have done and achieved on my own...think my parents are less worried for me than for my sis...they know i can prioritise and think for myself...which is definitely a good thing.. =) lessens that earlier hurt somewhat...

3) they think some pple are wayyyy too spoilt and hope tt i DO NOT learn fr them...hahahaha...

im feeling a tad bit sore...one day before bloody BOSS 1A closes i get an email saying tt the school is offering HR as another major wef this coming term...UGH!! how to make a decision with only like 1 day to decide and determine the courses i wanna take??? this sucks..

having said tt perhaps it's juz me being the very indecisive person tt i am...i like HR and i enjoy working in HR...2 past job experiences have given me that...but then HR is also something i feel u dun need to learn in class cos despite the numerous theories and analysis of human behaviour, it's not really gonna help all tt much in a real work environment...but it's my interest nonetheless and now tt im given a chance to do a HR major (which nearly but fortunately did not make me go to NTU) it's like the chance is here...and considering i've been pushing back taking my mktg electives jus for that...haiz...

but then the pros of taking a mktg course...it's more useful than HR...cos there's quite a bit of conceptual aspects of mktg tt u won't really learn otherwise... and the courses mostly have no EXAMS!!! that's like one of the most important thing.. and generally speaking, mktg profs are more lenient...HR exams are prob gonna be lots n lots of writing..sighs..

but den again, cos it's a new major, classes are much easie to bid for, so many vacancies!!! can surely save a lot of money bidding for HR..at the end of my internal struggle, still bidded for bloody MR class...instead of HRM... i really really hope it's e right decision man...sighs...
