My first Blog award!

The sweetest Sunee bestowed upon me this lovely award. Thanks friend! You certainly added more sunshine to my day.

Spring has Sprung

There is nothing but neglect for this blog I'm afraid. My motherly, wifely, daughterly, and sisterly duties have been much more a priority. But here are some pictures with updates on life in this new season of Spring.

Isn't she a beauty? This is a Lenton Rose that I found haphazardly in the garden section of Walmart two years ago and it hasn't stopped making me smile since.

She is a majestic plant that blooms upside down. You never get to enjoy her beauty unless you gently pick up the blossom and take a look.

She is a perennial that magically appears from the soil in late winter. I think she is named a Lenton Rose because she tends to bloom during Lenton season.

Our biggest news is we are moving soon! To Virginia for the Captain Career Course. We will be there for six months and after that it's up to the Army. We've been busy painting and getting things ready to rent our house while we are away.

Goose ran into one of the walls I was painting and got it all over his hands so I had him pose with his rendition of "taping". He pulled all the tape off the walls where he was supposed to and come up with this creative masterpiece.

caught on the deck standing on his potty. Guess he wanted some more height to play with his cars. I found him like this after fifteen minutes of painting in the other room.

We have begun the adventure of planting seeds. Our neighbor Melissa brought over a garden tote with a rake, some shovels, soil, pots and seeds for zucchini and carrots. Angus gets very excited when he sees them growing. They are almost an inch or two above the pots now.

While I don't update my blog often you can always catch up with more pictures on facebook. www.facebook.com/mrsbuckett

  • More Christmas fun. Lights on the cumberland river walk, and opening presents at home before our travels. A bucket for tools and a "geetar"

Enjoying Christmas traditions: making apple jack garland for the tree, playing with the nativity, hanging out with Rea, and modeling his winter gear.

We traveled to a city in Kentucky just outside Cincinnati for Thanksgiving with my side of the family.

Pictures to update you

In November we took a ride up to Scott's parents house for a quick visit and to take the rest of Scott's VW Bug to his friend Nick's to finish the work.
