Day 8 & 9
Back again, forgotten to type entries here. Time Flies and its about 5-6 days before the release of ITE results... wonder if i have the chance to appeal for my sickening IAP..
I will keep my daily government entries short for today, quite lazy =x
Day 8 was very normal for me, except the again very suay situation where my curry ramen had spilled on my clothes T.T, had to go to the toilet to clean it up... Also, about 3 of the current 5 members in the group are going to leave and there will be new rookies like me in the past coming in... Felt a bit "promoted" as we won't be the rookies after they come in =D
Day 9
Money, Money, Money. Finalised my salary for the month, which means i can get to use it by April 10, and in the meantime, wondering what should i buy using the $$ i received. Many things to purchase, eg: PSP,PS3,Notebook, Handphones, etc. Enveloping seems easier now, after i "somehow managed to glue things up".. Hope i won't kena any problems with the staffs when they do a quality check.

Day 6 & 7
Sorry didn't put in my day 6 due to technical faults, therefore i'll put day 6 and 7 combined here.
Day 6:
I'm getting pissed and pissed , day by day, of the staff there. Having conversations while working also kena scolded with the " We Didn't hire you just to talk" sentence. I thought that was very rude, and she ( the staff) should use less-harsh words to tell us not to talk too much while working as it will make us lose concentration.
Day 7: Learned new things, or what i would call, new assignments to be done. Had to open "hate-mail type 2" which was even more complicated than the "hate-mail type 1" i mentioned in previous blog entries. I also had a review of my work for the past week, so far so good, the worst record i had was 8 errors T.T which i think can be improved. Luckily no enveloping was done, i dun wan to see that staff's unpleasant attitude...
Getting poorer and poorer by the day, due to eating out in quite expensive places eg: Food Junction o.O . Hope tomorrow can go to the canteen in 2nd level of my workplace which seems cheaper....

Day 5:
Damn rain, totally ruined everything. 1st the explosion, then missed a full double-decker 246 bus, took cab, caught in a very long jam from clementi to toa payoh (can u imagine?), then kena scolded due to the late-ness.
I did a lot of stunts today, which includes the REAL ripping of "hate-mail", which i didn't tell my boss about it, just quickly scotch-taped back. I think i also got on to the "You're Marked On" category by some of the staffs in there. Was kinda strict towards us when we were doing enveloping and was told not to put my head so low when writing cause they thought i wasn't there.
450 "hate-mails" was ripped by me, a new individual record, and 2250 "hate-mails" done by our group for "hate-mail". Thought my job was done when i cleared the initial 100, but then the "boss" asked us to go over to collect more. We never expected this much of work to do.
Hope i won't be late for work tomorrow, and NO explosions too.. Mr N00bCake™ says," Bye All".

Hi, back blogging, thanks for the updates given to me regarding ITE admin matters for PPE.
This weekend is very sian, nothing to do, even the games i'm playing seem to be boring during these 2 days. Tomorrow going back to work again, and i can feel the explosion feeling tmr. Hope nothing goes wrong during the trip....
10 Days Till Release of ITE results, and about 17+ days to the possible release of PPE results. Can't wait for these 2 major events that will, affect mine/anybody studying in ITE 's life.

Day 4:
Arrived at work on time, to do the usual very boring envoloping mail, guided by 3 elderly men. Was pretty complicated lar, folding the papers and then gluing them after slotting the letters in.
"Hate-mail" ripping session was a disaster for me, due to over slacking as there was nothing else to do. Got a minor "scolding" from my supervisor as i didn't report that there was an error in the batching papers. The disaster continued after lunch, where i thought i had lost 1 of the cards that i was supposed to stick stickers on.
Sam later on called from the office, to find out whether i'm interested to re-take the exam with khairul and company, as they didn't met the requirements for the passing grade ( 82.5%). And enquired about my voucher experience which he heard from Ivan. I dun think i'll have time to take the test unless i take leave off.
Did something new today, i think for the 1st and last time, mail collection. Went all over the 1st level of the building to collect all the mail from the mailboxes, and the total amount was up to 7 boxes.. After that collection, i was back to do my usual string tying ( too bad no fly kite T.T).
Met a friend on the bus while going home, and he didn't know when we will graduate. Any ITE-DR students want to tell me when issit gonna be? ( 11Apr or 11May?) Thankz !

Day 3:
Arrived at work at 8.20-25am, at least not late =D, began my usual "si-beh kinz" keypad spamming for data entry, when suddenly some staff put a radio in-front of my work area. I thought they gonna play some radio music for some entertainment, but guess what, it was INDIAN music for aerobics.. and the entire full-time staff were there beside me (as it was a huge open area), starting their weekly aerobics which consisted of stretches, etc. Couldn't control my laughter really, and couldn't concentrate on my key spamming.
Easily completed my data entry, and was told by the supervisor not to do so "si-beh kinz", otherwise nothing else for me to do and clock my timings. Went to rip off letters like some hate-mail @ abt 10.30am and again as usual, completed my tasks by the time lunch hour came.
Lunch was very filling( Mac's ) but rather "unsatisfactory" as they cannot properly listen what i actually wanted. ( I wanted a fork, but gave me BBQ sauce instead). And somemore my department gave 2 HUGE apples for us to eat, which confirm bring home, not eating @ work.
What happened after lunch was boring, (string tying) and while preparing to go for 2nd round of data entry, we were told to do some enveloping. It was generally okay besides the gluing part, which i think i will never master. Looks like i prefer ripping "hate-mail" & keypad spamming than this enveloping job. But thats how the system works lar, temp staff must become Sai Gang Warriors, must do all the work one.
Thats all for day 3, and a side note, those applying for PPE in ITE, your results of admission will be sent by poly IN MID APR 07. This Is Confirmed Via ITE-HQ, on 21 Mar 2007 via E-Mail.

Day 2:
Was late for about 5mins, luckily didn't get pay cut =) and the moment we arrived, our daily routine of tying strings began till the mail arrived. Our ripping of "hate-mail" was quite fast compared to yesterday's performance and we completed our work by the time lunch hour had started.
My working hours had also been confirmed, 8.30am-5.30pm (9hrs) and had received an announcement that we will not be doing string tying during "slacking" hours, but data entry. I believe that its too easy as all we were told to do was to enter the numbers into the system using the keypad...
I'm starting to get the hang of a working life, minus the time where my internal "time-bomb" explodes.. Work is getting more interesting day by day and i'm looking forward towards it.

Sounds Familiar? Its actually the chinese name for Jack Neo's Film (Just Follow Law). Today's my 1st day of work in the government sector, where all the tax slips are sent back to.
Day 1:
86 people were there include zhihao, wilson, weeloong and myself. So Crowded and it took about almost 2hrs b4 everything was settled, from taking attendance to signing the letter of appointment and the issuing of our passes.
Took a tour around the work area that we were assigned, was quite a BIG place lol ! About more than 50 over staffs were already starting their work/task/assignments. Met our supervisors and took down their contact numbers.
What i do there is quite slacking and time flys by very fast, unlike people working in example: MacDonald's. However, my learning skills had failed me , and some of my working partners were quite disappointed T.T. I will try to do as much as possible if within my abilities.
Working hours , so far i noticed, are not fixed, today was 8.30am-5.30pm but tomorrow's from 9am-5pm. Wonder when will there be a fixed working hour....

Hi , back again with a new post.
1st things 1st to type, THANKZ Dant3 (Zhi Hao) , your job offer had arrived just as when i needed 1 ! Had never expected 1 to fly to me until yesterday while i was helping him out with his spyware problems in his com. Quickly filled up my resume and submitted to IRAS. (My Place Of Work =x)
While completing the resume, IRAS personnel had already contacted me to work tomorrow @ 8.30 , IRAS building. I'll be joining zhihao , wilson and weilun during this particular period.
16 Days Till ITE Results release, in the mean time , i'll enjoy my games and do a "important e-mail" to ITE HQ (Academic Affairs Office) =D

19 DAYS TILL RESULTS RELEASE..!
19days till the actual release of the Its The End results, which also therefore marks the end of the Its The End Life. Rotting at home had never been so hard as before (even the 6 months wait after the 'O's). Nothing but gaming and slight torrenting. Been wanting to "find" P.T jobs related to IT but i dun think that will happen , cause i quite choosy =x ( Actually ivan asked whether i wanted to do Linux Centos , but i guess the "duck - side" of me chose to "Sincerely Rejected The Current Offer."
Another Option was to help out in MINDS(JGS) after the IAP attachment saga, by becoming a volunteer for their "IT maintainence crew" which is now taken over successfully by the "Padawans" (Year 1's). Might not help out due to amount of padawans there, may steal off their workload which is HIGHLY not recommended during their 1st few weeks of work there.

Back blogging, with another round of blabbering about the cisco voucher team. I had a round 2 "fighting" with cisco over my usual issue for my voucher. This is what they had wrote:

This was what i received after i told them i sent an e-mail to prometric about my voucher. What crap? You guys tell me to call OR e-mail them and u tell me prometric may not reply to my mail? Then why bother to give me the option of e-mailing? Somemore, i will have to make an international call just for a voucher issue? Isn't it too much?
My patience has gone below the pure limits, and i'm losing my faith in cisco that they will solve my issue. I think ivan has also abandoned his thoughts of re-taking his INTRO exam, after their immediate " case-closed" issue had happened to him.
Speaking of which, 2dae's the day qx and co. took the INTRO exam @ infomatics . What was quite shocking was only the golden tortoise and the hare took the exams, not the rest. I wonder where the rest who always came for the macdonalds' session which Mr Sam painstalkingly orgainised. The force tells me that he's gonna be disappointed =(

Hi, back in the not-so-early morning. 1st Non-Official day of my holidays, and the 1st thing i got was a reply e-mail which led to my extreme fury. The mail came from no other than the Almighty Cisco Academy...

What Trash is this? This means i call to the US hotline (Dunno Free Or Not) and register, and if not, i have to give details about my 1 to 1 convo with the receptionist? I have my own limits over this issue. The voucher is officially mine and i dun get to use, and furthermore i have to go through so much trouble to just get my 640-821 voucher?. Its not that i do not wish to go for the exams w/o the voucher, the money is not mine, unlike other people who are dam rich and can afford the whole price. It's just not right, esp when u are taking the exam for the 2nd time.
Sry to say, if this time the voucher issue doesn;t get through, i rather give up le. No point for me to take an exam when i actually can get a discount easily. ( Readers, If you think i'm childish, so be it , i dun give a damn.)

Back again, and congratulates jiawei for purchase his new Compaq V3000 Notebook today.
Despite the disappointment from PC show, i found SP's laptop models via HWZ forums. 1 of them was EXACTLY the same as from my personal options, the Acer Aspire 5685 WLMi.
Thats All actually since i had nothing to talk about

Sian, after viewing the net brochures for the PC Show 2007 regarding laptops, it seems that there is no significant "discount" from those that are bought on the net/shops. Saw quite a number of items that interest me but sry, i'm poor and i require ppl to donate to the Movement For The Intellectually DumbAs5 in order to purchase these items.
Nothing to do now but to wait for the 2x exp rate & drop rate in MSEA.

I'm now blogging in school, using gremar's laptop.
Finally, i completed my phase test, which was as usual, difficult. Didn't expect lum to be in the class as he announced ytd that he will not be coming. As usual, after he left, the entire area turned "to the duck-side" and we were starting to share ans with each other
Currently waiting for the 2nd batch of class-mates to end their test and following gremar to MINDS to finalize my IAP program. 1 hour more to go (as of current time: 11.45) and there is simply nothing to do after checking inventory for some cupboards in NWL.
Today marks the start of rotting and the end of my life in ITE-DR. Hope i can forget all about the quite boring and disturbing life in ITE. Will remember some of you guys if possible =x.

*Edit* Got Back From MINDS, received my testimonial and my 50-60% of my marks for IAP
Got An "A" Grade for my testimonial, and 57/60 for my IAP marks. Was Quite Shocked actually, coz i nvr expected such marks given. Testimonial had some "unconvincing" details which was listed ... Luckily they wrote my job scope : Manpower Assistant to xfer the computer from one area to another.. (Actually there were tables too , for those that i told the incident about frequently)

*Minor Life Updates Of The Apprentice*
-Finally the case study saga has ended, but however we may have not met LPH's expectations
-N00bCake™ wants to apologize to his team-mates, for not properly plan the configuration process which led to the deduction of many "shld -get" marks
-As Usual, JCU lesson was disappointing, qingxia handed up the JCU file and we're able to leave for home.
-Can't wait for tommorow, which shld be interesting with all the phase tests =D (NO LPH LOL =D) and the ending of the industrial attachment programme in MINDS(Jurong Gardens School)
- In addition, tomorrow's the last non-official day in school which i always emphasize, rotting season for a month to decide where i will go (NSF/Polytechnic)

吃饱没事做. Nothing except entering this new entry for the blog.
I think this post is going to be long, so try to bear with it T.T
Today's lesson in school was actually cancelled due to several reasons by the various lecturers, 2 in which was nothing do teach us and the last one was a frequent class-canceller which i lodged a complaint over the school's portal.
Pretty Boring, since the maplesea server was undergoing a patch ( as usual, they nvr fail to do so) so i had to make do with WC3 FT 's campaign maps. Had a chat with my old sec school friend and during that time, glanced through the several blogs which my friends had made and saw some quite interesting things in it. Loads of thoughts went through my mind and had made up my mind : I rather either go back to my sec school days where it was more brutal but no friendship problems or go to NS/Poly to start anew. 2nd Year of Life In ITE-DR is aboulute UN-NEEDED in life (besides the knowledge =x) and i think its okay to dump it in the incinerator plant in tuas lol. Maybe u guys can say i can't live in the working environment but too bad thats my life, not yours.

Anyway a few quotes which i saw which led to my concludsion for those interested. I think in times like this i should act a bit EVIL. I don't expect myself to be forgiven either.

Back From school after a quite easy wireless test phase + theory test. I actually did nothing in the phase test except for adding the WEP keys lol and i got full marks cause it was basically a group work test. 1 More CCNA 4 exam and case study and i'm done with life in ITE =D in which prolly means either to NS or poly.
Went To JE with the usual bunch of peeps for lunch ( except the "boss" tcl) Nothing much to talk during the session, they were talking about something that will not interest me ( One Of It Was Girls' Hair o.O).

Haiz... Quite a very demoralizing day . Had been sabo-ed by someone who didn't even bother to inform us about the incoming class test, which resulted my marks to go RED. Another demoralizing thing was my CCNA INTRO voucher had a rather serious problem (Voucher can be used everywhere except ASEAN countries =x)
And for some particular reason lum offered me to read a study guide which i think he bought it and never passed it to qx. I wonder why.. He told me i had 分量 while qx didn't have. Sorry, i seriously don't think I'll take 640-801 exams, i rather stick to the 640-821.
Amazingly, our "boss" of the group, TCL didn't came for the entire day. ( MINDEF Medi Checkup) LOL?!
At least 1 lesser load to carry, our group's case study was finally completed.
