Commas in a Line (7th)

In class we talked about how to use commas in series of events. The least you need to know about commas in a row is that you put it after each item. For example: I have a car, a boat, a train, and an airplane. Yes, you do put the comma before the "and".

Plot (8th)

Remember to do your homework. Yes, I did say watch TV, but it is to find the plot, not to rot your brains. Don't tell your parents that I said you have to watch TV. If you can't do the TV thing, watch a movie, play a video game, or (gasp) read a book.

Welcome to English

I realize most of you have had to transfer into this class, and I thank you for that. Because of this, we are going have to hit things fast at first to catch up. Don't be afraid to raise your hand if you have a question. I have a lot of answers, maybe I have one to match your question.

Remember to bring a book to read every day. You will also need a notebook. Come ready to learn and have fun.
