A week before school started Jason came home with a huge smile on his face and a skip in his step. When I asked him what he was so joyful about he said, "pack your bags we are going on a trip this weekend, by the way we are leaving at 2AM!" (By the way, it just happened to be 5pm, not to mention a busy evening planned already) But of course I was excited!
I talked him into leaving at 3am instead of 2am, you know because that extra hour really helped in the sleep department when I didn't go to be until 11pm. We loaded up the car and snatched sweet little Bristol out of her slumber and hopped in. We told Bristol that we were going to Disneyland and for the next hour she did not sleep, but went on and on about how she wanted to "high five Mickey". Sweet little thing!
We got to Disneyland around 9:30am, as soon as we walked through the gates we saw some balloons just sitting in a bush with no one around so we took them. Balloons are one of Bristol's favorite things. She held them all day, we stayed until 11:30 at night.
This is "Car's Land", it is so cute! This is the first time we had seen it.
Waiting in line to ride "Tow-Mater"
We had lunch with the characters, Bristol didn't like anyone but the princesses, maybe it was because the other characters are about 8 ft tall and have huge heads?
Since we were on our cruise for Bristol's actual birthday back in June, we told the people at Goofy's kitchen it was her birthday and she got a special cake, she even blew out the candle herself!
A few hours after lunch she crashed, but when she woke up she was ready for some purse shopping!
Bristol did not want to get out of the Toady car, she kept telling other kids it was hers so we had to bribe her to get out...
To top off the night we saw Minnie and Micky at the same time! Unfortunately Bristol wanted nothing to do with them until after the picture when we were walking away. She never did give Mickey his high five.
