Simple Easter cards
Since I have been so sick the last month I have not had time to get things done like I wanted to. But, I threw these three cards together rather quickly today and even tho they will be late getting to their destinations, I think the grands will be happy when they get their package. I put little chicks on the inside to represent each grandchild in the respective families because they are my favorite peeps.....well as well as their parents. lol Anyway, I dug deep into my stash for these. First I used some old cards that who knows how long I have owned. Then I used my Creative Memories eggs shape die cut to make each card. For the newer side of stash, I used my new teddy-bunny stamp and also used my CE and my new cartridge Zooballoo to cut the grass. And of course just had to add stickles. lol

Another Grandson's card
Well finally finished this one. It has been a struggle this week to get me motivated to do anything but knew I had to have it done tonight as Andre's is spending tomorrow night with us for his birthday. His birthday is Monday and one thing he wanted was to stay with us. I did this one very plain and simple. Yoda is a digi printout from kids coloring pages on the internet. My grandson is a huge Star Wars fan so I thought this would be good for him. He is also a fan of easel cards and is always excited when he sees something personalized with his name. The corners and ovals are Quikcutz dies which I have had for a little while but have never used. I inked the edges and then used my TH distressing tool. The colors are a lot brighter in person but my camera seems to fade things out a lot.
Challenges I am entering are:
Sketch N Stash- sketch
The Play Date Cafe- color challenge
Digi Doodle- stripes (photo corners)
Amber's Crafts and Stuff- favorite things I used my Cuttlebug to cut the dies with and I do love my bug. I also made it for one of my grandsons who are definitely my favorite people in all the world. lol

Grandson's birthday card
Decided it was time I try to get these cards finished that I need to have done. Partly because I am feeling a little better but mostly because they have to be done! lol This is a first to several cards I have to make for grandsons. I searched for a sketch to use and liked the one from The Sweet Stop for this card. I used the cute little stamps from Lily of the Valley. Also used my new stamp from Clear Dollar Stamps for the sentiment. As I searched thru my tons of charms, I realized I am out of boyish birthday ones, so settled on this cutie in a cap. I think my grandson will like him. I used my creative memories punch and my Nestibilities for the circles.
Challenges I am entering are:
The Sweet Stop- of course, the sketch
Mami Doodles-use a die cut or punch
Catch the Bug/ Bugaboo Stamps- 4 or more layers
Stamp Something- circles
Totally Stampalicious- anything goes
Woodware USA- anything goes
I Did it Creations-Song- Happy Birthday
Card Ideas- something for a child
Fairy Tale-Happy Birthday
Thank you so much for stopping by, May God bless each of you.

My brother's birthday card
I am finally finished with a well overdue birthday card. I made this for my brother for his birthday. Didn't start out as an easel card....only ended that way because after I got the front all decorated, I realized the card would open from the top. lol So after quickly cutting off at the fold, it soon became and easel card. I was telling my sil about how dumb I was and she said that was a good thing as easel cards are my brother's favorite. So with that being said, I hope he will forgive me for being so slow and hope he likes this little fisherman!
I used the cute little Hanglar fisherman as fishing is one of my brother's favorite pastimes. I also tried my hand at quilling again making the cattails on the bottom part of the card. I dug thru my old old stash of stickers and found the campfire one and decided to use it. I used chestnut roan ink to distress all the edges. Would have used my Tim Holtz distressing tool too but seamed to have misplaced it once again! lol And of course, I just had to use stickles! lol
