Lazzzzy Summer Days!!!

Today I had an incredible moment....all 3 of my kids were sleeping at the same time! What are the odds of that? I think this has only happened one other time since Kaysen was born, so this is very rare. In fact, when it does happen, I'm always in such shock that I spend the whole 15 minutes that it actually lasts just sitting there in awe, and then I wonder to myself "What do I do now?," And that is when I waste more of my precious free time taking pictures...and then one of them wakes up! So nothing is accomplished during this 15 minute miracle except the fact that I get to take some darling pictures of my kids and write about it on here! (and Yes, that is okay by me!)

Jason's 29th Birthday

Today is Jason's 29th Birthday. Even though it's Jason who is only 1 year away from 30, I think I'm feeling the "oldness" of it too. It has hit both of us pretty hard! haha! If it feels this way at 29, I can't imagine what actually turning 30 is going to be like. Jason talks like life is coming to an end! Anyways, it is has been a good day and reminds us that life really does go by way to fast, so we need to live every moment to our best and just enjoy every precious moment we have. Jason got a new treadmill for his birthday and Fathers Day, which I also love! :) He was excited about that! The kids always love birthdays too...even if it isn't theirs. They were excited all day long for Dad to get home so he could see the decorations we put up, open presents, BBQ some burgers, and see the cake we made him. We had a good time!

College has Begun Again!!

Well, here I find myself back to college again!! Will the madness never cease? I'm actually only going back to do 2 on-line classes from SUU so I can finaly get something to show for my 98 college credits. Although it's only an Associates Degree, I will no longer have to worry about losing all of my credits when they start to expire in a few years. Another bonus is that if I ever do get a chance to go back and finish my nursing or teaching degree, I wont have to keep catching up with the new general ed requirements...or do any more general ed classes for that matter! I'm doing 1 class this summer, and the other in the fall, so that I can keep my sanity with 3 kids (and a husband). I'm excited for it though and it gives me just enough of a change in life to keep things from getting too monotonous!
