Sometimes, I happen upon a song I've not heard for a long long time - one that I'd fallen in love with the first time. And I'd fall for it again. And again, and again. Every time I hear it after a long absence. I'd soon realise that it's that song. That song. I'd remember loving it the first time. And then, just like an old friend, I'd greet it with a knowing smile.

Then I'd forget, and remember again.

Love should be like that.

You see, my companion can't take photos.

I snapped away with my camera apps and played with their effects for an hour (I love my new phone, but it distracts me so). Only spent an hour reading We Are All Made of Glue. I love it so far. Realised that I now read more when I'm outdoors, and I actually have to go out to get into the reading mood. I'll need to have another private session just for my literary soul.


Posted a letter that will reach future Morphus on New Year's Day, 2011.

Found my way to the circle line station by foot. Felt very accomplished.


Right after I took this picture on the way home, I had just entered the main gate when I looked up at the foyer sign of the first block in my condo. At that exact moment, there was something about this setting - the combination of the lighting and the pretty sky and the light breeze (I may have imagined this one, though), and maybe the alignment of the stars or something - right at that moment, it just looked like some luxury apartment, and it hit me. Just how fortunate I really am. When we first moved in, I remember making some comment about the pool and hotels, and my parents had said "Now our house is like a resort." I felt re-enlightened today. Sometimes I feel so guilty about complaining that I am convinced a 10-tonne weight will randomly fall from the sky and crush me just like the coyote in the Road Runner cartoons, and it would serve me right. I need more reminders to keep that weight in the sky.

Today was a good day for Morphus, and, she hopes, for Morphus's friends too.
