Hello everyone! I'm back from Missing In Action land for a short vacation. =D
I shall show off some new possessions I have acquired recently. Wahaha! I love showing off. But before that, I shall first apologise for my abysmal phototaking skills. Please forgive me as it is, after all, because of my indifference towards the obsession with self-portraits that so plagues other females my age (and younger).
Shopping Spree2 Sundays ago, I went out and spent over a hundred bucks.
I cut my hair at Chapter 2 and transformed into a mushroom.

I bought myself a new Puma bag ($51)...

Wondering where the Jay poster went?
Although I was disappointed with its size (it was like A4 size and there was only him and not the female lead in the picture. It looked minute next to the giant S.H.E one.), I decided to give it a prime location...

...right next to a magazine cutting of F4.
He will be the first person that I see everyday, just like the female lead in the movie! *gushes*
Now, if only I could get the posters to stop falling. My mum said they kept falling off the walls after I left for the hostel. So last week when I came back I stuck a lot more Blu-tack on them. Hopefully I won't find them on my bed again when I go home later this week.
Very Belated (but very satisfying) Birthday Present(s)On Sunday, I met up with Bee and Kim Choo. They passed me my very belated birthday present (this is our custom as we seldom meet. It's also to ensure that we have plenty of time to make/buy whatever gifts we want for each other).
They put it all in this rather heavy Winnie the Pooh box. I was a bit nervous at first because Bee told me KC insisted on seeing me open it with her own eyes and I could tell that Bee was also very anxious to see what my reaction would be. I feared that I wouldn't look surprised or happy enough. Haha. I'm not a very expressive person (physically) after all.
So, with (almost) trembling hands, I lifted the lid.

- A handmade card by the 2 girls. They immediately launched into an account of how they'd spent the previous night doing it and how dirty their hands got from the smudged ink. I nodded appreciatively. There's even a long message by each of them at the back!
I lifted up the card...

- A two-part handphone keychain. Bee took the other part.
- A stuffed tiger with a personalised recorded message. It's a bit static-y, but I think the message is "May the Genius!" (my self-given nickname in secondary school. I need a new one.) Haha. Cute.
I removed the keychain...

- A photo frame with the only picture of me with makeup on that I'd been dumb enough to send to Bee. Haha. I look ugly with makeup.
I lifted off the photo frame and...

oh.my.god. It was the S.H.E alarm clock that I'd been looking for for a long time! It came out two years ago, you see, so none of the shops are selling it anymore and I didn't even find a trace of it when I went to Taipei. Bee said she got it from a Singaporean selling it online. So sweet!
It's really special because it not only features their photo on the clock face. It talks! In their voices!! According to the website that I got the following picture from, it has 4 very cute recorded messages (and they don't just say the usual "Good morning!", but "chide" you into waking up) by the 3 girls themselves, so you'll hear a different one everytime you use it. And there are 2 of their fast songs recorded in it as well. So exciting to be woken up by your idols' voices everyday. =D =D =D

I think the surprise was very well-planned because of the "layers" of items in it. It wouldn't have had quite the same impact if she'd just put it straight in the box with nothing else. You're a genius, Bee!
So ends this very gushing, fan-girl post. I'm sure I'll be in an intellectual blogging mood someday soon. Hahaha. Stay tuned, folks! (Ya, cliche, I know...)
