It rained during P.E, so we couldn't go to the track to run (it was long flooded anyway). So P.E wasn't that crappy. But still, sweated quite a bit. Cindy and company (Grace, XiaoHui, Jane, Grace 2, Margaret, etc.) talked about pon-ing tomorrow. It is a tempting idea...

Crap-ish day. I "pon" debate to go out. Luckily I didn't go. They did presentations and a debate, which lasted till after 5.30pm. I finally mailed the card to him though. I took $1 from the econs fund to pay for the stamp (no $, no choice), then returned it when I got home. 2 pple transferred from my class, and 1 withdrew. I dunno what to do about the one who withdrew. I already bought the notes for her. The fund will be $1 short. And one of the pple who transferred hasn't paid. I hope I remember to get it back from her. I received the photos I took on Jerry Yen's press conference. All of them sucked. It was too dark. I really need to get a good digital camera. Which can zoom. I can't remember what else crapped up the day. I hope I don't remember.

Derrick said he'd called me to wish me a Happy New Year because his sms couldn't get through to my phone.

I went to K-Box (tp) again (2nd time) yesterday, with AL. They gave us a very big room. The same guy who served us drinks last time, served us again. He is rather aesthetically pleasing, only he could be taller and smile more. Also he seems a bit chubby. Haha, but still, cute. In fact, I think I should go there more often. I get to have fun, and see him. What a great deal. Also, now they allow pple to use the room till after seven. Cool...yesterday they extended our possession of the room to 9 pm. Then I went home (feeling great) to find lots of relatives coming out of my house (mother side relatives). I saw my uncle first when I came out of the lift, then I was thinking "What the-?", and then I saw my aunts and cousins. They all commented that I only came back when they were leaving. So I smiled and waved and went into the house. Where I saw my father side relatives. Eek! My house must have been infested with pple, what with relatives of both sides "clashing". By the time I'd finished bathing, they had left.

Mass P.E today sucked (as usual). Although we didn't have to run (it was raining, thank god), they still managed to come up with gruelling and stupid exercises for us to do. I still left P.E sweating. One of the exercises was called "Wheelbarrow". It was no doubt the DUMBEST exercises I have EVER done in my entire life. You have to hold ur partner's legs and walk while ur partner crawls along. It was DUMB AND DIFFICULT. If they make us do it again I will pontang P.E. After break was Econs. I really should try to keep awake in Econs (lecture). Luckily, the tutor did not start on the new notes today, or I would have been blamed by the entire class, seeing as I had not collected money to buy them. After the lecture was Econs tutorial. The teacher was rather interesting too. I collected money for the notes after that. We had chinese for 1 1/2 hours following lunch. The tutor took a liking to Jonathan (who came in an hour or so late and promised that there wouldn't be a next time), saying he is adorable. The tutor is a guy, by the way. So during and after chinese I distributed notes to those present.

It is clear, I feel, that econs is not for me. It truly puts me to sleep. I'm not obsessed with money. Sigh, but almost all the classes have econs. Geog is really heavy, too. And I shan't even start on P.E. Conclusion: JC is not for me. Off I go to poly! :) I secretly want the results to come out faster so that I can get out of here. Hopefully my results will be good enough for me to get into the course I want in poly *crosses fingers and toes*.

OK I remembered how much money to collect. $2, I think. I MUST REMEMBER TO BUY/COLLECT THE NOTES ON MON!!! Sigh...this sucks. Anyway, today we had CNY celebrations, then New Year Bazaar. Haha...I only went back to our stall from time to time to see how things were. There were many people around there, so I figured I wasn't needed. So I patronized the other stalls (got dragged by friends to buy their stuff). There was even a hairstyling stall where they use lots of gel/wax/mousse to style ur hair and add some dye (temporary). I couldn't find it. Pity...hehe.

After buying lots of eats, I went to sy's stall again to ask her to leave. It was 10.15 am then. She couldn't leave as her stall's items weren't sold out yet. Eileen and Shi Ling were at the same stall (same class). I kept on telling them that our stall had already sold out (really) and "laughing" at their "inefficiency". Eileen almost killed me, haha. So I had to stand around and wait for them to sell out, by which time it was already 10.45++. I led sy and lynette (who had decided to come along) to my back gate. THEN i realised that i'd forgotten to take cheryl's present and ailing's cards. So i ran back to get them and ran to the bus stop again. The bus had left. In the end I still got to the school earlier than them, haha. Don't ask me how that happened, 'cos I dunno. It was very late by the time I got to school (about 11.40. We'd arranged to meet at eleven). I went to the canteen to give cheryl her present, sat around and chatted (Mei Ping, SW, Sean, Seamus, Jeffrey, Isabel, XY and HY were all there). Sean was nicer today and I "chided" him for laughing at me at dinner & dance. His hair sucks, though. Later, I went to the staff room to find sy they all.

Got the year book, waited around for a while, then led them to the canteen where cheryl and gang were having cake (or about to have cake, since they appeared to be waiting for us to arrive). The trio left after delivering their presents. Derrick just called to wish me a happy new year! How sweet. Anyway, where was I. Oh ya. I wanted to follow them but was detained by...can't remember. I think it was cheryl. Hehe...hope my little mocks at the trio (about not being e4 pple..since all others present were e4ians) weren't too overboard. So I had cake (made mei ping give me the smallest piece. I don't like chocolate. ) and ate and chatted with the gang. After eating, we cleared up and went to tpy to find Wendy and the others. Upon reaching tp inter I tried to leave, (the idea of having lunch with so many people, including Wendy and Leo, scared me) but of course cheryl dragged me back. There was no more space at pizza hut, so we went to KFC to eat. At this juncture Cheryl left, so only left mp, me, xy, wen fang. Yu ting joined us shortly after. Then, while we were buying the food (the queue was damn long. Allow me to comment on KFC's inefficiency as compared to Mac), Eileen and Kenny showed up. After eating, I left with Eileen and Kenny. Eileen and I alighted together.

Went for reunion dinner. Watched My Lucky Star. It wasn't bad! My entire extended family who were at the dinner laughed their heads off at it. Contemplating whether to buy the disc. Yay! Ro's going with us to M'sia. Cool! We used to go to m'sia together all the time in the past, but in recent years we haven't done so. I'm looking forward to it even though it's a 1 day 1 night trip =). Merv (ro's brother, my cousin, 20 going on 21 years of age) dyed his hair erm...copper I think. It's sorta like orangey-brown. I played with the piano before we left. Making progress, but still feel like a beginner.

Haiz, today they decided to elect some MORE reps. Unfortunately, I got chosen as ECONS rep. THIS TOTALLY SUCKS. I can't remember what the econs rep has to do! We had a very hard time getting to that ulu Jade 1 (in Shaw tower). Took MRT to Bugis, then anyhow walk until the correct bus stop. After crossing a wet and muddy field to get to the bus stop, I saw the Shaw Organisation logo on top of a building ahead, so we decided to forget about taking the bus and walk there instead (we were running late). There was a long queue waiting to get into the cinema. Luckily, we didn't have to wait long. The movie only started at about 9.45 though (15 mins late). By the time it ended, it was about 11.45 and we were desperate to find the fastest way to get home. We took bus 16 at a bus stop near Suntec and missed our stop. It was 11.57 by then. We ran to get a taxi (after midnight, the fare is extravagant), and got one at 11.59. The driver took us back to our stop, then refused our money, saying it was only a short trip. Lucky us!

Anyway, the movie wasn't bad, just too many dirty jokes. But not really worth the trouble =/ .

Tutorials haven't started yet. I was dismissed at 1.10 today. First thing was MASS P.E. Yucks. The timetable only came out later on Friday, so I didn't get to see it. The P.E teachers warned us for wearing the orange t-shirt (it's for afternoon p.e). Well! How was I to know. Anyway, luckily we didn't get into any trouble. We ran 5 rounds today, then did sit-ups, push-ups. And they came up with this weird/stupid/torturous exercise. They ask you to put ur hands (palm facing up) on ur butt, then u, er, lie on the ground. Then when they say "up" you're supposed to, er, lift ur chest up. Geez! It was DIFFICULT. Not to mention it is not very comfortable lying on the floor with your..er..chest and all. I suspect it may be because half the female P.E teachers look like males that they come up with these pervert-ic exercises. After that was a 2 hr break (no F maths for us), then Econs (yawn yawn, couldn't stay awake. At this rate I am going to flunk the test which will take place in week 3. We must PAY for the test paper, too.) and finally GP (slightly more interesting). YAY! Going to watch Magic Kitchen later. Cool...even sneaks are on wed i think. Haha...got free tickets from K-Box.

I went to YMCA today for an orientation (to be a member). It was fun. We played a few games and explored the place. The people there are very warm and friendly. I got to know a few friends. There was a person there called Mandy (I didn't catch her age, but I think she's older than me). After studying her hair, I decided that I want red highlights. But will it make me look like an ah soh? Ah well...will decide when I actually can dye my hair.

There is no lack of nice/cool/cute guys there. During one of the games they shot at someone with water guns for forfeit. I got hit too. Haha...so unlucky.

Oh ya. Something...weird happened today. I was at the red circle thingy at the tp inter, waiting for my friend to show up and reading a book when this man came up to me and asked for the time. I showed it to him and he asked if I was taking 'O' levels. Then he asked for my name. I gave it to him after a moment of consideration. He said "I'm Henry." and shook hands with me. I thought it was majorly weird. Then he asked "Is your mum strict with you?". I couldn't hear him, so I asked him to repeat a few times. Then, I got freaked out and said I had to go. I went to some other spot in the inter where I could still see the red circle. The man had disappeared. How spine-tingling.

Sigh...muscle ache today, as expected. I am seriously considering playing truant on mon. Mass P.E aGaIn! P.E overdose...is there such a thing? Must finish Lit homework (recreating a Robert Frost poem) by this week, i think. Ah well. Next week's new year. Will be going to M'sia on the 2nd day of CNY.

They didn't put up the timetable for next week. I stupidly stared at the old one and pointed at some lessons I didn't have, exclaiming "Hurray! Can go home early." Then I saw that the date printed on it was over. It was this week's timetable. Oh well.

Went to AMK library with sz, then took 73 from AMK inter to tp inter. Surprisingly, it took less than an hour. I was lucky. I found the fifth book of Princess Diaries there. Hoho...I guess that's one adv u get when u arrive there at eleven, before everyone else is dismissed :D. Tutorials will start next week I heard, so i guess there will be no more long breaks and early dismissal after this week (boo). I found out that the tp K-box is open! Yahoo! So excited. Now I don't have to go all the way to P.S. Haha, this is great. I went around browsing for handphones. A 2nd-hand Nokia 8310 costs $220! Like wow. So ex and "un-durable". I've decided to buy a colour phone instead. But no money. Unless I get parental support, I don't think I can even afford a 2nd-hand one. I know I really should wait till after the results are released, and if I decide to go Poly, get a job and buy it myself. But I'm an impatient person. Ah well, we'll have to see. Also, I found out that 7250i costs $500+ for a new one and $401 for an old one. It's 'limited edition', that's why. Geez. What a bomb.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention on wed (when we had our first debate meeting) that the vp, Darryl, is absolutely cute. Spiky hair, dimples, slightly sticky-out teeth. Haha, but in a cute way. He's got a leg injury. I sat beside him when we were playing games. How very fun and thrilling.

We had "Mass P.E" today. It was totally gruelling. We had to run 4 rounds around the track for WARM-UP. I was half-dead by the time I'd finished (as I always am after running). Then, we did push-ups, reverse push-ups, sit-ups and silly jumps and hops. It was tiring. Then after that I had break until 11.10 (no maths). Went for Geog lecture, then lunch (the food there is really...=s) and then we had this goal-setting thing. I thought it had something to do with target-setting, but actually it was a motivational sort of thing, like Superteen (only they do it wrong). It was quite ok...but I kept wanting to doze off. The instructor encouraged us to keep a journal so that we can er...learn from mistakes (how weird). So here I am, blogging. Haha.

Yesterday
I was dismissed from Debate at 4+ pm. I then went home, bathed, ate, then rushed to Junction 8 to catch Jerry Yen (of F4) at a Press Conference there. I reached there at 6+. Some people brought stools to stand on in order to get a better view/take better pictures. I thought it was quite an ingenius idea. When I got there, there weren't many people (filled up a little more than half of the place). I was wondering why and started thinking what if Jerry wasn't coming. I found out this morning that 500 people actually went to the airport to see him. So that's why there were so few people at J-8. But the numbers soon increased as time went by, and by the time he arrived, the place was full (but not to bursting). He and 2 other co-stars (Maggie Q and some celebrity with the surname Teo. Both female.) arrived at 7.45 pm. He looked great and adorable (as usual =p). I took 2 pictures (there were too many heads and other cameras blocking me...so I couldn't take any more in the crowd), then asked 2 people standing on stools to take a picture each for me (hope they'll turn out well). Then Gek Theng arrived (finally) and I squeezed out of the crowd to get to her, deciding that I'd had enough of being squeezed and taking pictures. I then went to the side (where there were less heads and cameras) and snapped quite a few shots. Isabel arrived at the last minute (thank god, I was afraid he would have left by the time she rushed here from City Hall) with XY, JS and HY. I had a nice chat with GT after that. Bought a card to send to him. Seeing Jerry really made my day (or rather, night) =).

Damn it. One year's worth of monthly disposable contacts are $120. Great...I can forget about buying it. I'll save the money for a new hp. And my nice dad won't even help me buy a new one. How nice. My life totally rocks.

The rest of my family have just gone out to the optician's. I was supposed to follow them and make contacts. My mum was in a foul mood though, and dad was saying suggestively "Why don't u go next time?", so I didn't join them. $#%%. Now i'll have to wait another century before getting another chance to make contacts. I'm having second thoughts about it anyway. Should I use the money for something else?

Woohoo! I was dismissed at 1.10 pm today. Reached home at around 1.35 pm (had to eat lunch). Been online ever since except for at around 3 pm, when I bathed. Happy days! I will be dismissed at 8.40 am (after geog lecture is all F maths, Higher Chinese and stuff like that) tomorrow, and 11.10 am on Wed (think I have to go for Debate, though). Thurs will be late (4.30 pm), and on Fri I will come home at 9.40 am ^_^. I so don't regret not taking maths/science subjects/Chinese at 'A' Level.

Hmm...let's see. Today we had............................................................................some boring talk by library teachers (made it sound so horrible) for an hour, then break (so early. 8.40 am), then Lit, GP and Econs. I had problems trying to keep awake in all 3 lessons. Wonder why...I slept for 7 and a half hours leh. Maybe they're really boring. Sigh...Lit is turning out to be quite a disappointment. Nevermind, I shall try hard at it. Econs is a real bedtime story. GP i sit in front of the teacher (2nd row) also can keep on nodding off. After that, we (finally) got to meet our CT (Civics Tutorial) class. Not bad..I sorta like the pple better than those in my OG, but still...quite a number of pple with dyed hair. Not that I have anything against that, but they look a bit menacing. Like ah lian and ah beng. I suspect that there are 2 couples in the class. They look quite close to each other. This is just what i observed. I didn't poke my nose into other people's affairs :p .

I finally found and downloaded the Korean/Jap version of Di Xia Tie, as well as Mi Gong (duet by Tony Leung and Miriam Yeung.). Both are quite nice...just like Elva Hsiao's Di Xia Tie. I must buy the soundtrack. It's taking ages to come out though. I'm totally mad about the movie =p .

Since school started, everyday I come home feeling depressed and miserable and sometimes I even get scolded when I come home. Sometimes it is too much to take. What is wrong with me...I used to be stronger.

Argh...shitty. Today was better than yesterday, but still. Here I am, feeling miserable. I escaped at 8.30, half an hour earlier. But it was allowed, didn't break any rules. It was disco nite btw, until 9 pm. At first it was okay, messed around with my group members. But I lost them somewhere along the way. So stuck jumping around to fit in and feeling weird. Dun feel like saying anymore.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH! is the best way to describe this day. It was, literally, a mental prolonged tortured scream. Today was crap. Bad day, unlucky day. Sigh. I couldn't sleep until around twelve last night. Then this morning I woke 20 mins before the time I'd intended to wake up. Well, that was about the only lucky thing, 'cos otherwise I would probably have been late. Reached there, met the others, took an eternity to find sy, went into the hall. I was trying to look infinitely cool. Guess it didn't work. It was very bright and like a dream (not that it was fantastic, just that it was like how a hall would look in a bad dream. Too bright. If u get what I mean.) I almost sat down in the wrong group. I was sleepy and they kept wanting us to do cheers. I saw a person called Melvin who looked a lot like Gabriel and always got sabotaged too. Only he's more handsome, with dimples =). And Gabriel's more passive. The female emcee looked a bit like Shu Hui too. We had 3 group leaders, 2 male and 1 female. 1 of the males looked a bit sissy (with a sissy name to boot:James). We played games requiring fast reflexes and good hand-eye coordination (in other words, games I hate the most and are the worst at). In one of the games we had to squeeze together in a tight circle and reach out our hands, and grab any hand. There were 20 pple in the group, out of which only 3 were guys. I HAD to get a guy. First time I held hands with a guy. He's the shy sort, so quite nice (I think). After playing dumb games, we had lunch. The canteen was packed to the extent that there was no space to even go into the canteen. So we had to play some games in a container classroom to pass the time while waiting for the canteen to empty out. I was famished. After that, we had a University talk in which 3 representatives from the 3 local Universities came to talk to us about, well, University stuff. The talk lasted more than 2 hours, and my butt (okay, my rear) ached from sitting down for so long. After the talk I decided not to go to a U as the courses don't seem to suit me and it's such a hassle to decide from so many courses. We were led to the study area in the school to learn the "NY traditional dance", which involves a lot of rather complicated moves emphasizing on left and right movements. I hate being dyslexic (cannot tell left from right). I had a hard time trying to learn the moves. AND the worse part was, the dance requires a partner. AND I got a guy. Just great. I don't know how to do most of the dance, And I have to disgrace myself in front of a member of the opposite sex. Then one of the moves of the dance involves u putting ur hand on ur partners shoulder, and ur partner putting his hand on ur waist. But my partner didn't, he just put his hand an inch away from my waist. Haha. As if he's scared I'll shout "Molest!" or something. The other hand has to be clasped in ur partner's other hand. As I can't easily tell my left from right, (and I also dunno what is zuo and you in chinese) I kept doing the steps wrongly. My partner wasn't so bad, at least he didn't lose his temper with me (he needs to coordinate his steps with mine in order to do the dance properly). He's from XMS. After the dance, when we were asked to get our water bottles to do a 'Yam Seng'. Mine was empty alr, so i didn't take mine. Then I looked sideways and noticed that my partner hadn't got a water bottle either. Haha, what a coincidence. Oh yeah, and my "house" leader is cuuuuute.

Yesterday
Watched Sound of Colors. It was G-R-E-A-T! Six stars out of five, haha. Got my pay last nite. Or at least, half of it. I'll only get the other half next month. My mum took twenty bucks. Haha. All in all, not a bad day, thanks to the movie =).

Whew...today was...'undescribable' i guess. If there's such a word. Hmm..let's see. People I saw today: Toh Houw (junior), Ting Ting (junior/ex-junior. I dunno if she ever did quit the library. She was supposed to quit 3 years ago. Haha.), AL, Run xuan, Isabel (startled me, she did =p. Tapped my shoulder when I was arranging the scrunchies.) Saw dear Sally once I got there too. But she left in the evening. Goody good. Then after that only left me, Irene (middle-aged lady/housewife? who speaks English, ANd has dyed hair. Whoaz power. She's not bad except that she looks a bit fierce and is bad-tempered sometimes. But still better than dear old Sally.) and Yu zhu (slim lady/housewife, very nice and friendly. Smiley too. I like her best.). I've never known how to address my colleagues. Okay, I will say Irene-jie, Yu zhu-jie and AUNTIE Sally for the rest of this blog =) . Ookay...what happened today...oh yeah. I arranged stuff, stood outside and was cashier for the 8 hours. Changed 'jobs' quite frequently. But I only stood outside for a while (standing in for Yu zhu-jie). Arranging stuff is a tad boring but better than standing outside or being cashier. Can enjoy the air-con, no smoke and no hassle. Today I pressed 4x$1 instead of $1 =s. Sigh...i wish i could stop making mistakes. I hope the customer didn't need the extra $3 badly. It was impossible to give it to her anyway, she'd left already. Dishonest ol' me. Ok ok...moving on. I realised that generally, pple from other races and senior citizens are more friendly, smiley and polite. Also, more and more senior citizens i meet speak fluent english. That's so cool. Today I met this bilingual old lady who bought earrings. Then, while paying, she put her stuff on the counter. While she was removing them, I touched her newspaper (headlines-Anita Mui. Who else.) . She eagerly told me it was about Anita Mui and showed me what she bought from the vcd shop-A postcard signed by the late popstar and a vcd (also featuring her I think). Haha, so friendly. Also, in the late afternoon, after the Mediacorp stars had left (selling Orange Julius meals), the OSIM pple started promoting their massage chairs or something and they'd hired a band to entertain the crowd. I heard the female singer singing Hao Xin Fen Shou, so I got curious and went to toilet (shun bian catch a glimpse of the singer). Her rendition wasn't bad at first, but dunno why the music got faster and her singing deproved. Also, she was apparently trying to sing the duet version on her own. Or maybe it was the full solo cantonese version. But I think it was the duet as there were some parts when she stopped singing. I preferred her rendition of the next song, "Hou Lai". I was hoping that the band would stay longer so that I could at least hear something else besides the radio. But they only stayed awhile. The other 'highlights' of the day were hearing on the radio that Gui Ji had overcome Cun Zai-5566 on the UFM charts (i chuckled to myself silently), meeting other pple in the shop. Today May (supervisor) wasn't there so we could relax a bit. We closed shop at 9.30 (^_^) (tou lan), and milled around the shop after counting the money. Before counting the money, Irene kept asking me if Sally had taught me how to write down how much money there is. She couldn't believe that I didn't know how to do that and made it sound like it was my fault I didn't know. But still, I dun blame her. It is, again, Sally's fault. Maybe she didn't want to teach me as I am too young or because I am leaving tomorrow. So, anyway, count count count money, then they hung around and talked. I can't believe they really were waiting for the cash register clock to strike 10.00pm so that we can leave without the lady boss even thinking about docking our salaries for leaving early (we have to print out a receipt that shows the time when we leave and start work as proof). So when the receipt was printed out, it showed 22.00. Cool.

Yesterday
Saw dear Sally the moment I stepped into the shop. She was laugh-y yesterday, so not so bad. But I still like/trust the uncle who brought in the umbrella goods yesterday more. And I've only met him once. He's nice. He asked me to check the goods and saw that I was nervous, so he said "Uncle bu hui hai ni de." His folding umbrella technique is marvellous! I was spared from folding it. Haha. I did security guard duty. Stood outside and looked around for shoplifters. Not too bad, at least I didn't have to be the cashier. But I hate the cigarette smoke. That Sally really dunno how to point one. She asked me to return the spoilt umbrellas to the uncle. Point point point at the umbrella stand when it's at the cabinet below the hairband shelves. Then dunno how to say where it is properly too. Then she made a big fuss when I put the metal thing in the middle of the store the wrong way and we'd locked both shutters. Kept saying "Si le, si le, zhe qi wan dan le." Scare me man!!! Then in the end she just had to open the shutters again and put the metal thing the right way. What is up with her man??!! Okay, I saw Xiwen, Patricia and Kenny (with his gf who is like 1 head shorter than him). Kenny dyed his hair. Looking more handsome now, haha. And he's really TALL.

Sent an e-mail message to him apologizing for not sending an xmas card and promising a CNY card in return. =) Now checking if Miriam Yeung is idol material...didn't know she sings too. I like her happy happy happy cute image. Hah! NYJC students only start school next mon! Gloat gloat gloat...muhahahah.

Yesterday
Not too bad a day at work. Was cashier until the store closed. Saw AL and Belinda (and got a bad case of the giggles each time). Had a nice sms chat with Belinda about bumping into me at the store later that night. Also saw Azaleas. She waved rather violently and told me she was working at Giordano. So diu lian, sigh...Only made one mistake yesterday and it totally wasn't my fault. The customer wanted to exchange some $1.50 socks for $2.00 socks. So a bit of a problem there. Biggest blunder: Discovered that some socks were actually 3 for $3.90. Shit.
