My little darling girl turned 4
We did a week's worth of celebrating because
she is truly the best thing on this planet!
We started off at the zoo!
The animals were ok, but the DINOSAURS?!?!? Now THAT'S what we came for! |
On her actual birthday, I called on my best friend to have a girls day!
We started out with Jamba Juices (Haven's favorite)
then headed over to Boondocks for mini golf, arcade, race track, etc
I brought my best friend Jenny and Haven brought her best friend Sofia |
After Boondocks, we got our nails done. |
Next stop was the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point.
Haven has really taken an interest to dinosaurs. Later on you'll see her birthday cake we got at Costco. As we were checking out, the guy tells her that her "long neck" dinosaur was so cool! She then tells him, "well, it's actually a brachiosaurus!" Love her!

Haven and her cousin Luke |
I dared Haven's cousin Logan to get this sucker with a scorpion in it. After a few licks, he started getting nervous. My fearless little girl took over :) |
Next was a mommy daughter day only at the Princess Festival.
It was pretty cute! Every princess was there and had story telling times.
The story times were like mini shows
I loved spending the day with just her!
Tinkerbell |
The princess and the pea
(Haven loved seeing her in real life because we only have books about her) |
Beast and Belle |
HOOK!! (she didn't get too close)
I love how she'll eat a sucker with a scorpion inside, but not stand too close to Hook! |
Waiting for the Arabian Night's story. |
Haven was called on to make up "magic words" |
Isn't she just gorgeous!? | |
Story of Cinderella |
love love love |
The last thing we did was finally have her family party.
With the traditional brazilian BBQ we ate too much and had a great time!
After the food we went to see Transformers 3. The first Transformers was actually Haven's first movie we took her to. Transformers 3 was Jack's first movie :) and of course, he was perfect!
Uncle Tagg and Aunt Katie got her dinosaurs she can play with and
I cannot tell you how many hours have already been spent with those dinosaurs! |
Aunt Jenn and Uncle Scott got her this COOLEST dinosaur popup book |
the T-rex jumps out at you |
Scott and Jenn |
My Taylor kids |
Aunt Jenn brought the AGGIE ICE CREAM!!!! |
Thanks Aunt Whitney for the pictures!!
I
love this little girl! Everyday I love her more and more. She teaches me so much and I have moments everyday when she will do something and I am in awe of her. When we go to the store, she'll see a toy and say "Mama, let's get that for Jack." or "Jack would love that!" They're all baby toys too. She never asks for things for herself or throws fits about things for her. Since the moment she met Jack, she's understood what siblings are. She's never shown me that she feels 'entitled' to anything. She has already learned how to share and give to others and the important lesson of selflessness. I'm happy to celebrate each year with her because I'm able to see who she is becoming. I'm so proud of her. I'm so lucky that she chose
ME to be her mommy! This girl is the light of my life. Who knew I could love like this?
