Update!

Ok, so my sister in law is bugging me to update my blog. So here you go! I know that I am oh, so interesting that you all have nothing better to do than read my ramblings!! HA!!

Anyways, a lot has went on lately. Matt and I had our 10th wedding anniversary and that was wonderful. It really doesn't seem like that long to me at all. If I really stop to think about it, it makes me sad to realize how fast life flies by and how much I don't remember about the last 10 years!! Like little things that don't seem so important at the time, but in the grand scheme of things are important! It makes me want to be on a reality show so that I have all the footage of my life and my kids lives at my fingertips at any time. Maybe I will just install cameras in the house and not tell anyone so that I can always look back and remember how everyday life was any day of the week. Oh, there have been some days I would like to forget sure, but SO many more good memories. I look forward to many more years with my wonderful husband and my 2 boys! I truly am blessed with a great family and I thank the Lord every day for them. Even on the bad days!! :)

Kadence is getting ready to start basketball after the first of the year and he is ready. He has decided he is done playing baseball and won't even try to play this year. I am not happy about this. He is very gifted in the sports area and really good at baseball, but he is also very smart and thinks about things way too much. And he is scared of getting hit by the baseball now that he is in kid pitch. Oh well, nothing I can do will convince him to play so I just hope he doesn't regret it some day. We talked today with him about french kissing! He swears he will never do it and we promised him that one day he will, but we will gladly take it in writing that he never will and place that bet in Vegas!!! We would be rich, HUH!!!???

Kourtland has started basketball already and he is loving it. He is very good and loves to get in and scrap for the ball. He scored 6 points in his last game!!! I know how exciting!! He says that basketball is "his game". His exact words! He is doing well in school and still doesn't like girls. I've tried to tell him that will change one day, but he doesn't listen to me about that one. I shouldn't rush things I don't guess, but it will be fun when they start to like girls!

Well, there you go! A wonderful insight to my oh, so exciting life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (your welcome Chana)

ONE HAPPY FAMILY........AT LAST!!!

Well, I am very happy to report that my family is again intact!! Thank freakin goodness!!! We made the plane trip without incident and the boys had a great time.

I should have known it was going to be a long trip by the way it started out!! Night number uno..... went to OKC the night before cause the plane left at 6! Which means you have to get up and 4 get ready so you can be at the airport by 5 to check in. So we get there and I FINALLY get the boys to sleep around 10 ish. They are in the same FULL size bed as me and snorring and coughing and putting feet in places they should NEVER be!!!! I will let you imagination run with that one!!! :) THEN......my dad started his turning the T.V. up and down and switching channels like a mad man because he couldn't sleep. And he had GAS!!! So, I could not get to sleep. I was so frustrated. Then I was hot and then cold. And so on and so forth.

Long story short, I finally went to sleep about 2:30 ish!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not a nice person when I don't get my sleep, but i did my best to just get up and going and get it over with. So they boys get up just fine at 4:15 and get ready. I try to sleep on the airplane and they keep telling me, look at this it's so cool. Mom the plane is going 474 mph. And we are 30 thousand something feet in the air. BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!!!! So, while I am keeping them happy and answering ALL their questions guess who is snoring in the seat across the aisle........you guessed it MY DAD!!!

Ok, enough about that! I also had a total blonde moment while in Rexburg. It was snowing and Matt and I were out walking around campus. When I looked down and on my coat was the most perfece snowflake EVER!!! I did not know that they were real! I know. I just always thought that all the decorations were simply that a decoration. An artist representation of what a snowflake should look like. I was completly taken and couldn't stop looking at them. Anyways, it was a great trip and I wish we could have stayed a bit longer!

HOMECOMING!!!

So, I am so very excited to say that I will be with my wonderful husband in 3 days! I have never anticipated anything so very much! I know most people say a vacation from their spouse would be nice, but I did not enjoy mine at all. (That's just cause I have an AWESOME husband!) Don't tell him though he will get a big head!! Ha!!!

The boys are very excited as well. They are really looking forward to flying on the airplane, but most of all seeing their daddy! This was a real test for our family, but it was sooooo worth it. It has been a long hard road to get school finished. And although I am not the one graduating I feel a DEEP sense of accomplishment! That may sound weird to some, but it is really a chore putting your spouse through college. I love Matt so much and I am very proud of him! The boys are so proud too, they keep telling people "my dad is graduating from BYU-I and then he will be coming home." How sweet is that??

Well, I hate to go, but I gotta get back to cleaning the house so that he doesn't have to come home to a messy house.

I'm not scrooge!

I just wanted to post on here that I DID get the Christmas tree up! I went to Wal-Mart and bought a new one that was only in 3 pieces and was way easier to assemble than my original one! So, just so you don't think I am scrooge this year!!! :0)

I am getting into the spirit now!!! Merry Christmas!!!!

The Holiday's!

Ok! So, you can call me Scrooge if you want to, but I really am not in the mood to put up my Christmas tree and tomorrow is December 1st!!! I don't want to do it without Matt. This is the first year in 10 years that I have to do it by myself. I am such a baby!!! I know that! So just read on as I continue to complain!!! LOL!!! Just kidding.

Anyways, I know that there are no pictures on here and as soon as I get some more current ones I will get them on here. None of me though cause I am too fat for the camera!!! Ha!!! Well, just a little update.

Happy Holidays everyone!!!!!!!!!!!! How fun is that, since NOONE knows I have this blog yet!!! I was waiting to see if I really wanted to do it or not! I will give it a shot!!!

I'm a follower!!

Well, it's official I am now a blogger! I don't know what that really means, but I am gonna give it a shot!! Everyone else is!!!

So, just a little update on the family. Matt is currently in Idaho finishing up his degree and he will be done and all graduated in December. You don't realize how good it feels to be able to even type the word graduated!! It has been a LONG, hard road for him and I am so proud of him. He is the bestest husband in the whole world. We cannot wait to see him again and be together.

Kadence is 10 now and that is so hard to believe. He is in the 5th grade which is Middle School and that was a quick reminder of how OLD I am getting!! He is into all sports and enjoys reading. There isn't much he won't read.

Kourtland is 7 and he is a REAL boy! He loves to play and has a very good imagination. He is in the 2nd grade and is having a good school year. He played his first year of football this year and I think he had a good time!! I keep waiting on him to want to watch the cheerleaders more than the game and it hasn't happened just yet!!

As for me, I am doing good!! Just working away and waiting to be reunited with my hubby!!! I have realized that I am not cut out to be a single mother. I do no have the patience to deal with 2 boys by myself! I try not to yell too much and to not say SHUT UP a million times. It usually doesn't work out that way, but I am a work in progress!!! I am working 2 jobs right now as well as being a single mother so as you can tell I have no additional stress in my life!!! NOT!!! Well, I will see what I can do to become a better blogger. I do have tons of extra time to spend in front of the computer so don't hold your breath!!! HA!!!
